Unit 2Q Pros: Nice people. Nice location. Being next to the park is great. Rent stabalized. Cons: Non working appliances upon moving in. Roaches everywhere constantly. an exterminator promised to come once a mont never shows. Heating pipes are not covered, especially in small bathroom. Accidental burns are constant. Celing leaks that go unfized. Wall and ceiling damage. Very slow super. Managment will not respond to your complaints and when they do it will be with attitude. I had to call the city because the safety hazards in our apartment went unadressed for months. Advice to landlord: Stop being slumlord A-Holes.

Pros: I love the location of this place. I've lived here since I was around 12 and it was a nice place to grow up in. Beautiful area and it's very diverse which i love Cons: Living here is hell if you have a family that is busy 24/7. Like the amount of roaches and mice that they have is insane and the building doesn't do anything about it. The trash is left out on your floor for days at a time and it stinks up the entire building.

Pros: Good community. Friendly and responsive live-in superintendent. Trash collected daily. Cons: A maintenance worker was killed in an elevator accident. Inconsistent heating. Repeated bed bug infestations due to apartment management not treating surrounding apartments/notifying tenants of adjacent units. Apartment advertised as renovated, but is not. Repairs are often shoddy. Advice to landlord: What advice can I give to a property company that is financially incentivized to cut corners? Stop doing that. Care for your tenants.

Pros: Great location, super convenient. Cons: It took us 9 months to finally get started with our lease the management company will spew you bullshit about passing along your message, and then 3 weeks will go by without a single word from them. At one point we were literally calling every day and still couldn't get anyone to call us back. The floors, walls, and ceilings, are all warped to hell. The previous "fixes" were just cheap bandaid repairs to hold over tenants until they move out and it becomes someone else's problem. Tiling in the bathroom wasn't removed before re-tiling, so our towel bars fall out of the wall. There are multiple 2-3 inch gaps between the walls and the floors in several places, which allows for bugs to get in. And the bugs are AWFUL. Several places have been painted over dozens of times leaving gross bulges of dried paint everywhere. Everyone in the building is aware that if your packages are delivered to the mailboxes and not your actual door, that package is as good as gone. The maintenance guy (super sweet dude, always helpful) died in the elevator shaft. That elevator wasn't operational for over 6 months (not a good look when the majority of your tenants are older with mobility issues). All in all, you can tell this building is a century old. Advice to landlord: Schedule more exterminator appointments. The guy never showed up when we signed up for extermination services, and half the time the trash chutes in the hallways are filled with flies that EXPLODE OUT anytime you open the chute. Place more signage in the lobby for apartments N-Z. Food delivery people can't find our apartment because the lobby elevator doesn't connect to our side.

Pros: The super is great Cons: The garbage is left in the hallway and not taken out regularly. There are cockroaches and mice in the building. Some tenants are loud and use the hallways for their personal parties. People are often in the stairwells throughout the night. Advice to landlord: Fix the trash situation.
