Pros: Close to the park, apartment size is ok, and got great light. Cons: It is not well maintained, pest control is non existent, and the owner is very unresponsize. Advice to landlord: Hire a new manager and super.

Pros: It is a spacious apartment with exposed brick. It’s close to Prospect Park and the B and Q lines. A Key Food, Target and some pharmacies are also nearby. Cons: The building management are almost impossible to get a hold of and have no emergency line barring a uncooperative super who likes to insist many of the duties that are indeed included in the job description of a building superintendent are not his problem. This includes refusing to keep the garbage area in a good state. The neighbors seem to toss their trash out of the windows and as such the area is filled with rats and mice. The super or his assistant have tried to charge the tenants to rid the building of roaches and mice. I have made numerous complaints to have slow and contentious service in return. I moved in without a radiator in my bedroom and began asking in September for one to be installed and they dillydallied until January to bother helping. I was forced to complain to the city. The super pointed to the pipe in the room and tried to insist that was sufficient. There are issues with mail theft and neighbors are loud, let their children scream in the hallways and are pretty disrespectful of people who live around them. At one point our mail was not delivered in weeks as management refused to issue USPS with a key and a particularly bad leaky tap was “rectified” by the super turning off the hot water and refusing to come back until Monday when it suited him. There was no real fix and the faucet in the bath shakes something dreadful when it is running. Advice to landlord: You are slum lords. Hire people who actually want to help tenants and not just sit around doing nothing all day. You need to have a 24/7 line because emergencies aren’t confined to working hours or don’t own a building. Your responses have been nothing short of vile and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Unit E6 Pros: Close to the park and station. Easy commute to the city Cons: The amount of dust in this apartment is out of this work. I don’t know where is coming from but there’s always a huge amount of dust. There’s people peeing on the elevator. There’s water leaks from the apartment upstairs that hasn’t been fixed, and now is the ceiling is moldy

Pros: Clean, good super and it’s a short walk from the park. Cons: Block can get a little wild on long weekends. Old building so there are some plumbing issues from time to time. Advice to landlord: Fix the pipes and get a new front door, the lock sticks something awful.

Unit E5 Pros: nice appliances. most neighbors are lovely. exposed brick. Cons: bedbugs twice in 6 years. cheap renovation. Floors peeling under radiator or if they get wet. uneven floors and not level. ceiling was not caulked, nor was the sink or where the counters meet the wall. upon moving in holes were not covered up where pipes from the sinks went in the walls were not covered and mice were able to get in. bathtub in the apartment above leaked to our bathroom. bathtub in apartment leaked to apartment below us. super does not live in the building, also manages a building the street and is only available "9am-5pm". Management is impossible to get a hold of on the phone and via email. Advice to landlord: do better. follow the laws. communicate with your tenants.

Pros: Big Apts, nice neighbors, elevator Cons: Roaches, gross trash collection outside, not the safest area Advice to landlord: Clean the hallways and trash area!!!
