Unit 6H Pros: Great building with doorman, package room, gym, etc. Well constructed and maintained. Great rent stabilized unit. Proximity to the train. Cons: Occasional problematic characters outside. I've heard the units with north facing windows have noise issues. Traffic and street parking is a challenge.

Pros: -Very good sized apartment for the price -Proximity to Prospect Park -Laundry in basement Cons: -Constant roach problem, especially in the summer. Building only had an exterminator come once a month, and tenants were not aware of when the exterminator would come. -Did not feel secure even with the 24-hr doorman. The front door to the building was always unlocked, and staff never asked visitors to sign in or state their business. Some staff were definitely high on something during their shifts. Also very easy to get into the building through the unsecured garage. -Faulty heat during the winter months -Unresponsive super -Noisy neighbors - lots of banging and loud music-playing

Pros: Right across the street from Prospect Park, easy access to B, Q trains, and many stores around. Cons: The building does nothing about the mice or roach infestation, laundry machines are sometimes broken or dryers are out of service, and neighbors can be rude at a time if you have a dog. Advice to landlord: Clean the building, and do something about the pest infestations.

Pros: Clean building, nice neighborhood, close transportation & shopping Cons: Rent to high, management makes promises which are never kept, noisy next door neighbors. Repairs still not done and it’s been almost 2years!!! Advice to landlord: Keep promises when you say you will!!! Find better equipped repair contractors!!!

Pros: The entire on-site staff is friendly (Door People, maintenance) Reliable elevators, and a package room. Floor plans are huge! Location is great: literally right across the street from Prospect Park, and half a block away from the Parkside Q stop. Cons: Roaches, even though we keep our apartment super clean. Hallways look dated. Scaffolding has been up on the east side of the building for 3+ years with no work actually being done for the last 2. Because of proximity to the park, it can get loud, especially when the weather is good. Advice to landlord: Update the carpet and paint in the hallways. Better pest/bug control.

Pros: People are generally friendly, great location to the pa Cons: Pest control is non existent, garbage disposable has been made harder, rent prices going up, poor support for tenants from management, park noise horrible over weekends till 1am, police do nothing Advice to landlord: Better noise protection in windows, sort out the garbage crappy process, do more and communicate more with tenants

Pros: The neighborhood, neighbors, doormen are good people. Transportation is close as is shopping convenience. Cons: Repairs may get started. If they are started, it takes over a year or more to be completed. Workers will show up after a year, unannounced to you. If you do not allow them to finally do the work they started a year prior, they will report that you refuse to give them access to do repairs! Hired contractors have illegal licenses & do completely unprofessional work. Building has not been expected since the 2007 earthquake. Pieces of bricks continue to fall! Advice to landlord: Hire reputable contractors! Stop bullying tenants so they will move out & you can raise the rent and still don’t make repairs!

Pros: Large units with good light and space. Live-in super is responsive. Doormen are very nice. Neighbors are great and there is community. Come make it better and don't become like some new transplants. Across from park and very close to station. Updated mail delivery. Love living here and have for years. Cons: Finally took down 10 year old scaffoldng but 2 year old scaffolding on side is still up and ugly. Building has roaches but not all or most units! Advice to landlord: Get rid of the scaffolding! Also open the roof again as an amenity!
