Pros: Great price, very close proximity to Prospect Park and easy access to two transit sites. Also, the Ditmas park homes a few blocks down are gorgeous to walk to. Cons: Had a large rat problem outside this year due to garbage. They moved it to the front of the building for the time being, but it is still an issue in our neighborhood. Also, the supers change pretty frequently and management office does not reply quickly.

Pros: Great location. Super is nice. Cons: The landlord is cheap and has 1 superintendent managing several buildings. Takes forever for something to be fixed. No rodents, but some areas do have roaches. Advice to landlord: Don’t be so stingy - pay for proper repairs rather than cheap bandaid solutions.

Pros: Close to the park. Spacious apartments. Cons: The water in our apartment was leaving a brown residue. When the super looked at it, he told us it was an issue throughout the building including in his own unit. He blamed the city and said there was nothing he could do. I didn’t buy that, but I asked management to provide a record of how they were advocating on our behalf. They ignored my request. We left the building when it became clear they were either unwilling or unable to resolve the issue. Advice to landlord: Fix you water issue. Respond to serious concerns with compassion and a willingness to do what it takes to solve the issue.

Pros: It’s next to the park, it allows pets Cons: Getting something fixed is terrible, your amazon package will be stolen or opened, some people have had there things stolen when not home(break in), others when moving in. Pest infested apartments some neighbors say it’s awful and management pay for a low price exterminator that comes once every 6 months to spray your apartment and leave. The super will only come fix something after you call him 4+ to remind him or like others have said he prioritizes new tenants so people who have lived there longer have to wait. And if you plan on paying rent by money order mail, if the USPS is having trouble and your payment gets to them late because of USPS you still get charged a late fee. Advice to landlord: Just because the area changed a bit, doesn’t mean you can make things difficult for old tenants just to upscale prices on a awful apartments
