Pros: Updated building with laundry Cons: There was a truck that regularly delivered to the armory across the street at 3am and would honk upon its arrival.

Unit 5R Pros: The building is new, you can’t hear any noise from neighbors. Rooftop is awesome and not very used. Cons: The bad part is the street that is very dirty, and full of homeless people. Also, the building is not very clean and it has some structural problems, like the water that takes years to heat, and the floor that is not well installed and makes noises.

Pros: Dishwasher, neighborhood, that’s it Cons: Management and apt owner are unresponsive, uncaring, and disrespectful. Lived there for 2 years and couldn’t wait to get out. Left the apartment in great condition, cleaned everything, and took videos because I had a feeling they would make the deposit return process difficult. It has been a year and they refuse to return my deposit of $2600. The landlord has blocked my number and is quite frankly extremely disrespectful and creepy towards women. The building has no management therefore the stairs, the shared washer/dryers, and the roof areas are in disgusting condition, always. Not to mention the trash outside of the building which accumulates for weeks before they take it out. It took the landlord 3 months to fix the oven when I first moved in. The apartment gets extremely cold in the winter and the factory/homeless shelter across the street are uncomfortably loud. You will wake up every morning at 5am to the sounds of trucks beeping. Almost the entire building moved out the summer that I did. I just cannot stress how terrible the landlord is - do not waste your time and money here. I promise it will not be worth it. Advice to landlord: Return your tenants deposits.

Pros: Area, spacious, secured entry, rooftop access Cons: Have dealt with squatters and people stealing packages. EDIT: After four months of being out of the apartment, the landlord has yet to return my security deposit. At first he was responsive, and he's since ghosted me. I may have to take him to small claims court to retrieve my deposit. Beware! Advice to landlord: Be more communicative with tenants and return their deposits! That's not your money.
