The rent is affordable and the tenants are friendly and respectful. They offered rent payment flexibility during the pandemic (only for theee months) The elevator keeps breaking down. The city summoned the building to appear at court in violation of elevator maintenance code in October 2020, but not sure if they property mgmt office appeared. The elevator has broke down after October. In addition, the repairs and maintenance of the apartments are poor. The “remodeling” of the apartments is painting on top of the old chipped paint which will start to break months later, some bathroom have cheap tiles on top of the old ones and it starts to peel after a while. The hardwood floors in the apartments starts to lift, the bathrooms has a build up of caulk which I think it was used to cover up mold. The machines in the laundry room are constantly breaking down. The hallway and floors are grimy. It's rarely cleaned. Take care of your apartments and amenities better. Also, invest money in fixing these elevators or get new elevators installed. It’s such a headache always hearing someone get stuck or the fire trucks constantly coming to our building to let someone out.
