I’ve been living at The Arches in the Bronx and it has truly been a great experience. The building is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful amenities that make day-to-day living more comfortable. The staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help with any concerns, which makes a big difference. The apartments themselves are spacious, bright, and designed with a modern touch, making it feel like home right away. And not to mention Leo Gomez the super and garage attendants are all amazing, new front desk staff provides great customer service.

STAY AWAY! Do not trust them with your bank info and personal documents. The place is a fully blown scam and Landlord is discriminatory. First, they reel you in with listings for units that ARE NEVER really available. What you'll get may be the same layout if you're lucky, but never the same unit you saw. Rooms are super small and amenities are free for the first year then go to $250+ PER MONTH, that's why everyone moves out after the first year. Second, the worst part is the discriminatory behavior of the landlord. He gave me a lot of trouble and tried to find every reason to deny my applications, which I can obviously tell was due to me being a minority woman. I provided everything including paystubs, rental statements, tax forms etc. First, I was denied because my roommate's credit score (given, that made sense at THAT time (both applicants have to meet the requirements according to this landlord, not just one... hmm..) However, since my own income and credit score alone was more than enough to be approved, I came back a few months later to reapply on my own WITHOUT the roommate. Being that my application was so recent I was told I didn't have to do a new one, and that I was "all set." The previous tenant was supposed to move out 10/30 and when 10/30 comes around, management went completely ghost. I decided to come back a THIRD time, again, a couple months later. When looking through one of my bank accounts the landlord made made a misogynistic undertone comment and false accusation that I "potentially paid a "$1050" rent to an "Elijah guy" but otherwise didn't have my own rent payment history.. totally false as you can see in the photos he was reading the bank statement incorrectly. And the rent payments were coming from a different bank account. Of course when he looked at the other bank statements, he later comes with a "late rent payment" excuse of denial, using the date that the rent transaction is posted on my bank account and NOT the actual on-time payments receipt provided to him on the rental statements from my management. It is common knowledge that payments are due on the FIRST of every month. From there, payments can take 3-5 business days to be reflected on your bank statement. I do not have control over when the payment is debited. He is clearly using discriminatory practices to run this business and clearly isn't attentive enough to process applications. Do not trust them with handling your personal documents. The Hotel in the building, Global Luxury Suites, has only 2 stars for a reason. Trust the reviews and stay FAR away.
