Pros: Section 8 Nycha rent apartments, only 5 floors, 5 apartments each floor, live in super, stores and busses short walking distance, new management and new super better than old one, building finally starting to get fixed Cons: Buildings so old full of problems, the front door has code to open door but can't buzz anyone's apartment to get in, if carrier doesn't read instructions many times they can't get in and send peoples deliveries back, now often the door is broken left open but mailboxes end up broken and mail packages stolen and now it's become unsafe at times from anybody able to get in and show up at your door with no working cameras in building, rats and roaches, plumbing problems, leaks causing wall deterioration and even mold some apartments, heat very inconsistent, when it's not that cold the heat will go on but when freezing it's on and off and stays off longer than it stays on, old super created problems that got worse overtime and now apartments have a variety of multiple different problems, if not a female that flirted nothing would get fixed and he would create conditions to screw people over and try to get anyone he doesn't like evicted, these issues cause Nycha inspections to fail then they stop paying their portion of rent creating arrears that build up and now there's new management and super that's starting to fix the building but the rent owed overtime has already amassed enough to be brought to court for eviction. Advice to landlord: Whole building has so many different problems one thing gets fixed just for new problem to arise, many are health hazards, some people for years been living in these poor unhealthy conditions that would fail nycha inspections losing section 8 rent payment help, if building gets fixed people could pass inspection and would be able to pay their rent and could talk and compromise on payment plans so people don't lose their homes and management can get paid back what their owed, or the building across the street from it was in the same terrible condition, they were able to relocate the residents to new apartment building then they tore old building down and rebuilt it, after finished residents had choice to stay in new apartment or move back

Pros: The hospital is close my son he's asthmatic. Cons: The landlord doesn't have control over the building, I try to move but is not that easy. Advice to landlord: You need a new super because that man don't know nothing about fixing and he's very disrespectful with the tenants and when you asking him something or you need to fix someting in your apartment he say that's no my job.
