“I recently moved here and Miss D is the one who assisted me with my move. When I first met her she portrayed herself as very sweet, acted caring, and seemed welcoming. I asked her about some of the reviews I saw online like no hot water, homeless people on the property, lack of response to emails, and she denied everything and said that the comments left were mainly from tenants who don’t pay rent or have been let go, so they are bitter as a result left false reviews. Welp, I’m going on 6 months here now and unfortunately the reviews are all true. This place is absolutely filthy and what’s even more filthier than this property is the attitudes of the woman in the leasing office, specifically Miss D. After moving in I learned that she not only works in the front office, she also lives at the property (for free I’m sure). During office hours she portrays herself as this professional individual, but if you catch her after hours it’s a different story. She moves around the property as if she owns it, stares residents down, and curses like a sailor. Than when the morning comes it’s time for her to put on her mask and go to work. Like I said, she is the one who assisted with my move. So when I moved here I naturally spoke nothing but positive things about her to my neighbors. They all laughed or couldn’t believe I was speaking about the same Miss D that’s in the office. My neighbors son and his friends like to go to the park after school. And her son and his friends have complained numerous times about Miss D giving them attitude when she runs into them at the office. When my neighbors son first began complaining about a lady being mean and giving attitude to his friends at the park his mom told him to take a picture of the lady so she can see who it is, and when he did we were shocked to see that it was Miss D the kids had been complaining about. Recently management also changed and I was so happy as well as other residents at the property because we thought with the new management there would be new employees, when I went to the office to drop off my money order my heart dropped when I saw Miss D still in that office. My advise to the new management, keep a very close eye on Miss D. The person that she pretend to be in the office during business hours needs to be the same person at the property after hours. It’s extremely awkward when she’s nasty after hours, and than when you go into the office during business hours her mask is on. Otherwise, she needs to find somewhere else to live, because clearly she can’t mange her professional and personal life in one setting. Also I’d like to add one weekend maybe a few months ago I saw her walking around the property with her dog with booty shorts, a woman of her size should not be wearing that type of clothing especially when we have kids all around the property and YOU WORK AT THE PROPERTY. If she wants to wear booty shorts with no judgement from residents than she needs to move. Time reveals everything and one day the management will see the same person the residents see in Miss D.”

I looked at this place with high hopes (close to my job, good price, decent size) and came away from the tour severely disappointed. The tour felt very rushed, I didn't feel welcome, the guy leading me seemed bothered by any questions I asked and they seemed more interested in getting rid of me as soon as possible than getting a new resident. Not only that, the unit I was shown looked like it desperately needed some TLC. I guess that should've been a red flag that they intentionally keep cheaper units stuck in the 90s both in terms of looks and tech. And seeing reviews on other sites including this one, this kind of service seems consistent. Again, I'm disappointed because this went from the top of my list to eliminated from contention. So my search continues.”

People in the office never pick up there phone! Literally called 20 times yesterday and the man in the office said, "I was probably out of the office when you called."He also said "someone was working on the line and to check back with him at 5." Well guess what, I went to the office and 4:45 and it was closed!!!Don't move here!!!! We pay way too much for theses broken down apartments. Please let not forget all the roaches we had when we moved in and how we had to buy stuff out of our own pocket to help rid the infestation!!!!!!!”

But the first time I went by the property during posted office hours they were closed. Went by a few days later and the office was open and I was able to speak to a leasing agent and felt very hopeful that this could be my new home. Unfortunately I had left my ID at another property I toured so was unable to actually tour. Told the leasing agent I would return the next day to tour. So I stop by a little after 3:00 PM the next day to find a sign on the door Be Back at 4:15. So I visited a friend to fill the time. Called at 4:20 and got no answer. Drove by just to check and the sign had been removed from the door and the office was closed. Came home and pulled up some reviews to find out this is a recurring problems for residents. Tried to call the day after to ask what the actual office hours were and no answer. What would happen if I was a resident with an issue and could not contact management? I am very disappointed because I really felt the property was a possibility. Evidently under new management that has done much to improve the physical aspects of the property but seriously lacking on the customer service end. So sadly my search for a new home continues.”

They keep lying about it saying it is coming... it is coming. It has been over a year and nothing was sent. They refuse to give the corporate number. I worked very hard with that client, time, fuel, milage, paperwork, going back and forth to the complex because they gave him bad unit so I had to work extra hours to get him to switched to another unit. the manager promised me in writing that I am getting paid via email and did not deliver, therefore I am determine to find it and I will report the to the better business breaux.”

A welcome to hell sign above the office is not enough warning for this place. they will steal your money, lock you in a longer contract than you ask for, NEVER ANSWER PHONES, THERES BEEN 3 DEATHS IN THE COMPLEX THE PAST 4 MONTHS, yet the gates arent fixed. staff is rude management is never there to handle tenants they hide behind temps who cant help you or answer real questions. The laundry room has a major leak, the floor is flooded and not a single machine works. the work out room is empty and the pool is green, mailboxes are broken and everyones mail is left out for anyone to take. There is bugs and water leaks everywhere. a main pipe broken under my sink for 2 months and many requests later its not fixed. i had no shower for 3 months because they dont do maintenance. This place is the lowest of the low. They have been reported to the Texas Apartment Association, Better Business Bureau and my attorney will be in contact soon. DO NOT MOVE HERE! YOU WILL NOT GET ONE NIGHT OF PEACEFUL SLEEP HERE AND YOU WILL BE MISERABLE NEVER WANTING TO GO HOME! DO NOT IGNORE THE REVIEWS!”

They ignore Maintenance request, they hardly answer the phones , they have gang violence here, people has gotten shot at in the apartments, people have died due to shooting here , they will mess up your rent if you paid they will say you didn't and you will have to keep on them about your payments on your rent , they have roaches really bad , they procrastinate about everything , it took me 3 months to get a mail box key ,people have altercations that's very loud all time of the day it's very disturbing, these people are silent thieves. Please don't ignore this review please don't move here . I have talk to other people that has lived here and they are all having the same problem ! Oh and did I forget to tell you they don't have security here they claim they do but I work from home so I see everything out of my window I take pictures and record everything security don't come through here the only time police come is if they are called due to violent altercations and the office is aware of everything but yet they hide it some where else to move ! It's other apartments on this strip that may be wayyy better than these apartments! Do the research for yourself , call the police department and check the crime”

— 2101 HAYES RD UNIT # 1396 · Houston“THE WORST. I moved to Houston 7 days prior to locating and signing lease with the WORST PLACE EVER. I completed application on Sat. was advised that I could move in by Mon. I call on Mon not able to reach agent nor did agent return my call I was advised by different agent that Manager would not be signing off on any applications until Wed. On Wed I called corporate office and left message (never returned call). Then I was able to call back to The Quinn and talk to Manager who then advised that they only have 1 unit available and it is not the united I looked at or wanted but new to area and I did not want to continue to pay for hotel I took the unite. Not realizing that we agent took me to view unit on grounds that we road in gulf cart (very cold) not aware of what the grounds look like until my first day in my apartment OMG. My apartment bedroom window is broken and does not lock / Ice on wall of 2nd bedroom due to air conditioner unit outside / air-condition does not blow just make noise and water comes up out the floor and furnace is iced up / not hot water in master bath / water comes from both shower head and tub in 2nd bathroom / fan does not work in 1 bathroom / front door has big dent / no screens (agent advised that no windows on the grounds have screens) / patio window installed where the part that locks is on the outside (anyone can take off hinges) and will not open / vanity in 2nd bathroom is chipped up at bottom (suppose to be new) / light in master closet has switch (does not work) lit on string to pull for light / man upstairs came knocking at my door 3 different times (began 6:30 pm late time 10:43 pm) my 2nd night / agent advised me that I am the first to move in under the NEW MANAGEMENT / REMODLED UNITES / tried for 2 days to acquire electric only to discover that agent provided me with the wrong address.”

I haven't lived here in over 4 months and all of a sudden I owe rent for May. I MOVED IN JULY! When I got the letter from the new management I called and asked why. They told me its my utilities. Who's utilities are over $600? I had to walk in and that's when they told me I owe for May. I would of been evicted well before I moved out!! Every time i called it was something different. I emailed my info to Andres and the paperwork stating i owe 200 something for rent and when i call for an update its forwarded i emailed him with no reply. They arent even trying to take me to court they went straight to the debt collectors. I would stay far far away from these apartments and please keep your stubs to everything or take pictures before dropping off rent.”

My A/C has had numerous problems. Especially if the summer time. They have shootings, roast infestations, and structural problems. We had a septic tank rupture. All these problems the manager will lie dead in your face and say they are trying but they are not. Im reporting them to BBB, filing a formal complain with the Houston Apartment Association and using all resources available to me to show how ------ this complex is”
