“One of the best things about living here, other than the obvious perks of the location, the aesthetics, amenities etc, is how amazing the staff is. Concierge, valet, maintenance… all of them make it feel like home and always greet me with warmth!”

“We moved to the building a few weeks ago and we love it so far!! Everyone is super nice, the amenities are top notch, the leasing personnel is super friendly and we love our apartment. It is super quiet too.”

“During my experience, I found the building to be beautifully finished and well-maintained, with a prime location that added to its appeal. However, there were several challenges that stood out. Transparency regarding theft was lacking, and greater accountability was needed to address these concerns effectively. Additionally, the elevators were frequently out of order, far more often than expected, which caused inconvenience. Security measures could also be improved, as there was no guard present to confirm vehicle access in the parking deck, raising safety concerns. Another significant issue was the frequent loss of packages, which added frustration to the overall experience. While the building itself is impressive and well-kept, addressing these challenges would greatly enhance the overall living experience.”

“I love the location and the staff they are so helpful and always extremely friendly. the building on the other hand is not so great. I have lived in two different units over two years and I have constantly been kept up woken up and disturbed throughout the day by noise through the floor from the apartment above me. it's horrible. I have lived in many apartments nicer, less expensive, lower quality over all but I have never experienced the noise like I have here from the apartment above me. the building is a piece of ---- and if you are going to continue to marker it as a luxury apartment you need to do something about the week flooring and lack of insulation between floors because as it stands today its 100% false advertising to promote this building as luxury because beyond the staff who are superb nothing else about the building is luxury.”

“Our almost two years experience has been excellent. the building is amazingly quiet. In the first period, we had two big dogs in the next door apartment that were left alone a lot. We rarely heard any barking and, when we did, it was extremely muffled and not a bother.”

“Overall everything is good. The safety is fantastic. The appearance and finishes are great and we especially love the gas range and spaciousness of our unit. We love the close walk to memorial park and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and seem to love their jobs. There are a couple points for improvement, including better appliances - we are the first tenants of our unit and our dishwasher has multiple broken features, and the dryer is not the best, but nothing too bad to complain about. We also wish there were at least 2 more treadmills in the gym as they are usually occupied during the popular hours.”

“Staff is very kind and attentive! Any concern that is brought up they have not only responded in a timely manner but they quickly resolve issues (which haven’t been many) ; but the care for residents is priority for the staff-”

“The Westcott is a nice building and compares favorably with other apartments I’ve lived in. There are a few problems, like the garage doors and the lack of fresh landscaping and sometimes there are too many oversized dogs. However, the staff is wonderful and that helps to make this a great place to live.”

“Love it here!!! Everyone is so kind and helpful. The pool is amazing. The most beautiful views and incredible amenities!! The best location in all of houston by far! I have no complaints at all! I would recommend to anyone and everyone!”

“Don’t believe the ratings!! Think twice before signing a lease as it is new but deceiving! Concierge & maintenance staff were very kind, however, not the leasing staff. Nice as long as you do not complain! . I was treated poorly & was pretty much called a liar as I complained of the gym noise located on the floor UNDERNEATH my unit & was asked to record it. I even asked the staff to come to my apartment as they argued it was impossible due to special mats. There were several other issues including an cockroaches which I’m terrified of and they’re gigantic! I slept nightly with lights on and a gallon of bug spray within reach… Yes, EVEN in the brand new refrigerator. There were so many!! Initially I leased a unit on the 5th floor and was told the floors/units are noise/soundproof. That’s a lie!!!.The walls are very thin & you will hear footsteps/noise above beneath, next door & conversation’s as people walk by. I transferred to the top floor & was faced with a dog that cried for over 8 hours at a time. I love dogs but who wants to hear them howling, crying and barking when resting or working from home. Obviously had separation anxiety! Not a moment of peace…the showers does not drain has no slope which is unsanitary. I have attached a video to prove this. You will be cleaning and scraping water after each shower so good luck when you have guests!!”

“This is a beautiful community with a location that can’t be beat. Safe neighborhood, easy commute, and a large park system out the back door. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for the feeling of a “house” but the amenities and social aspect of an apartment community.”

“I have found The Westcott to be clean, friendly and welcoming. The parking is ample and the garage is bright. The resort style pool is a great gathering space while the 11th floor sky deck provides amazing views of the city. I'm sitting in the conference room/work space on the 4th floor as I type this review!”

“It’s been so great! I love living at the Westcott. Apartment grounds are always clean the staff is so friendly! It is very expensive but that’s the nature of the market. It feels like I live at a luxury hotel!”

“It took over a year to be given the items we were promised in the beginning. Then when said items are received my name is misspelled. Coachable moment. I run 3 companies and little details like that can be critical. We have to walk by the dog area to get to the park and that smells like a cesspool most of the time. Could that be watered down more often? Overall we have had an above-average experience.”

“Nice infrastructure. Maintenance and cleanliness need more vigilance. More proactive management would help. Package management is pretty good. Security is good. Occasional long delays in common area repairs like parking garage doors and elevators but mostly they work.”

“Community is well kept and quiet, one of my top 3 apartment communities I’ve lived in. Staff is friendly and responsive, especially Allison and Antara. Maintenance (Francisco and Rene) are the best in Houston with quick response times. Would recommend to anyone looking for a true luxury apartment.”

“Location location location. Also the units are quality built. I moved here because other buildings in this price range, Hanover, Driscoll etc are built using cheap material for their interiors. In addition, the 2 month free promo is a great promotion.”

“My view from my unit is extraordinary. Each day the sunsets/clouds etc are beautiful and worth living here. Everyone is friendly enough too. The people who work here are very nice and helpful and go above and beyond to please. The mail room is easy to retrieve packages. Thanks to everyone for making it feel like home. It’s been an easy adjustment coming from owning a house for 30 years to renting in a building. Everything is clean and the gym etc is nice to go to and not have to drive the.”
