“New management is unprofessional. I was refused to be given information bout my lease and challenged to a fight by I guess a maintenance guy that was there. I been here over 7 years, never have I ever experienced this kind of complication with front office and was accused of being “aggressive” all because I had a sense of URGENCY to get information about my lease. Come to find out I was given MISFORMATION and because of that I’m the one accused of being aggressive and “having an attitude”. If it wasn’t for another young lady stepping in and helping me idk if it would’ve gotten resolved. Thanks to her she clarifies that I was given the wrong information and…..what do you know…..conversation over. That was so simple. Someone was willing to help a resident with a simple question and I can go on about my day. This other young lady needs to be re-trained. When there’s a contract involved there is no time for policing peoples feelings and tryna determine if they have an attitude all because you don’t like someone taking to you in a direct tone. Not once did I use vulgar language nor yell at the young lady so for her to continuously accuse me of being aggressive simply because I am a man asking for information about my contract with a sense of urgency RESPECTFULLY is shaming. On top of that instead of her saving face after realizing she gave me the wrong information and that this was all a misunderstanding she proceeds to tell me “you’re gonna have to deal with me and I’m not gonna put up with that attitude”. So clearly this manager sees this contractual relationship between residents and management (herself) as a one way dictatorship and speaks to me as if I’m a child and she’s gonna put me in my place. Instead of being mature and apologizing for the misunderstanding because she gave me the wrong information. Wow just wow. People like her, when they are wrong or make a mistake instead of owning up to it and taking accountability but deflect it upon others are dangerous individuals to be given authority. So then the situation seemingly de- escalates as another young lady who was in the back office steps in and attempts to help me and then there's a moment of silence. Now prior to this silence, since I was essentially put in situation where I felt I needed to defend myself because this manager kept accusing me of being aggressive and having an attitude.....i make a slight mention of this gentle who seems to be a maintenance man. Verbatim I say “if I was being aggressive ma'am this gentleman would-be stepped in” Because at this point I'm confused as I mentioned because I'm falsely being accused of being aggressive and felt the need to defend myself but thinking back I can see it was a scapegoat on her part it's easy to call a male “aggressive” when he's looking for answers with urgency. So this GoofTroop Captain starts to go on and on toward me about “why you putting me in the conversation” and “who is talking to” blah blah blah, macho man tough guy act. So I respond accordingly “I was talking about you” no malice intended. I answered his obvious silly concern about who I was talking about This guy proceeds to ask me “so what u tryna do about it ?” essentially challenging me to a fight right in the middle of their office. And this so called manager sits there continues to tell me I'm being aggressive because I simply answer is silly --- question about who I'm referring to. These kids got the wrong one, I will be writing a letter to Transnational Management because no resident should be treated with such disrespect.”

The manager is horrible, she starts off sweet and when she gets comfortable she snaps at you or catches an attitude with you. I have seen her in rare form. She alone made it very unpleasant. Denise, the manager needs to take a few management etiquette classes. You can tell she's a nut, by how over the top she comes off.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“This Community Is amazing the neighbors are pretty friendly. The staff Is amazing The manager Ms.Denise is sooooooo sweet nice and pleasant she's so enthusiastic she is the sweetest Manager and person ive ever me Definitely recommend everyone to stay here!!!!”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“place to live I 100% recommend...neighbors are one staff great and maintenance always on time”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“Where do I begin, I just moved out of these apartments. The community is very hood and ------...The staff is nice, when they want to be, but the maintenance is shady. They help themselves in your apartments to what ever they wish. I suggest a hidden camera if you move here...”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“hi I'm a new residences at asford creek apartments I love the management very nice and peaceful thank u!!”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“these Apt used to be okay before the new management team came the staff is rude they hold grudge and they play favoritism a lot if you have a large breed dog don't even think about going unless she knows you then you'll be just fine and by she I mean Carol favoritis are high at this apartment complex. Water constantly goes on and off without a notification. The office really could care less about you or your problem they will get to you when they get to you Ashford Creek Apt suck if you don't believ see for yourself.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! If you're looking for a cheap place to save money until you get on your feet, this is the place to do so. But, if you think you're going to be treated with respect and appreciated as a bill playing tenant, this is not the place to move to. The Apartment Manager Carol is rude and so is her staff (which is mostly her friends and family that she's hired). The Corporate Office is just as bad if not worse. They have lost packages, hung up on me when I complain about it and anything Carol sends out to the complex is sure to have multiple typos. If you're sensitive to staff being unprofessional like I am...DO NOT MOVE HERE! I am only here because I don't want to move until I find a new job so I can move closer to that job. I hate it there...all the appliances are old, fireplace is not functional and outside is nasty. JUST A TIME/MONEY SAVER!”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“dee is really nosy until i filed a compliant on her . she went in my apartment with out me knowing she said to leave a note about me having someone live with me that was not on my lease supposley miss renee told her to to leave it at my door but miss renee was out on surgery . she claimed that my kids father lived with me just because he came to drop off and pick up my kids she would ask my neibors if they had seen my child father staying there and she was told no and still continued to ask more neighbors until finally miss renee got back and i asked miss rene if she had told miss dee to leave that note and said she wasnt sure what i was talkin about even after finding out miss renee never brought that up to me at all . then my neibor told me miss dee had went in my apartment and told him she went in to check if my boyfriend was living there and once again he wasnt there . she was so worried about who was living with me that the person who lived under me had an abusive husband that crashed into one of the apartment walls there at ashford creek . she should have been checking up on someone else then to top it off the same person who lived under me the apartment wa not even in her name someone got it for her ..”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“Unfortunately, in the past 2 months some of the new residents seem to feel it is acceptable to hang out in front of the apartments in the parking lots. If they would go inside at a reasonable hour I would not mind so much. Or if they would hang out in front of their apartments, it'd be better. All 3 groups of people doing this are 2nd floor dwellers. They have been asked nicely to take it inside after 10 p.m., they don't care. It's a shame, up until these past few months it was really nice here and people were considerate.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“I lived here for over a year. I always paid my bills on time. I never was disrespectful to them, and once my lease was up I get a letter telling me I can't renew my lease and gave me 30 days to vacate without an explanation as to why. I tried to contact Renee but she was never available to speak and the corporate office was just as rude as Renee.I can't believe they did that to me. I was so hurt.. I have nothing against Dee I still think Dee and the maintenance people was very professional but that Renee person is EVIL!!!... She never apologized for falsely accusing my Daughter of stealing. ( it was a light skin male the neighbors stated and not my daughter ) KARMA!!!”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“I have lived here since January of 2013 and I love it here. The apartments are quiet and clean. They are not fancy with nice upgrades but they are clean and well kept. My maintenance requests are handled in a quick and professional manner. Dee in the office is very attentive to the residents and when things were real tough for me and my roommate earlier this year, Dee and the previous manager Rene worked with us financially to avoid eviction. I will forever be in their debt for their helpfulness. Many of the residents have been here long-term as in some of them have been here over 10 years. We would be willing to stay that long as well. As far as break-ins are concerned, break-ins happen all over Houston. There is no place that is 100% safe ANYWHERE in Houston. I appreciate that the management was willing to tell us about the break-ins and not keep it a secret as most complexes do. As far as the gates are concerned, yes they are always broken but tell me something? Do you really think that they provide safety to the complex? No, they do not because the minute one resident opens them legitimately, several non-residents can come in with them. Gates do not provide safety but merely the allure of safety. Ashford Creek is a very decent place to stay. This complex has had the same owners and management company for over 20 years. There are not many other complexes in Houston that can say that they have that consistency. I would recommend Ashford Creek to anyone. They are clean, well-kept and economically priced.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“Walked outside on a Saturday with my 5 year old to loud gangsta rap and four guys by their cars smoking weed. Reported it to the office and they said I was being oversensitive. Took my 5 year old to the pool and we got to watch two couples drink, smoke weed and make out heavily. That was fun to explain. Woken up on several occasions by loud bass and screaming fights outside. Complained to the office a few times but gave up. Walked the dog and stumbled upon a group of guys pulling some "smash and grab"s on cars parked in a row. Reported it to the office and they said that since I wasn't the owner of the cars, I had nothing to report. Had to drive in a panic through the parking lot because of the unattended children running out from in between cars. There were three instances where a child was injured because of that in the year I lived there. The gate is broken 90% of the time. There really is no point in having it there. My patio fence faced the back of the neighborhood on Westpark. We had our grill stolen twice and our camp chairs... CAMP CHAIRS... were stolen three times. This place is NOT safe. It is NOT nice. The office is NOT competent. The price is WAY too high for what you get. Don't do it. It's not worth it.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“The apartments are cheap and nice but the lady Dee in the office is too noisey she's always in everybody business. Just be aware if you have visitors she's watching how long they stay at your apartment. I Feel like i should check them into the office first before coming to my apartment. I WILL NOT be renewing my lease.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“Ive lived at Ashford creek for two years. I love it here!!!!! The ladies in the office Carel and Dee are the best always helpful and on point with everything they do. Anytime I need something done in my apartment its always by 5pm the same day no matter how big or small they are grate about getting to everything. The rent is a grate price I fell like I get more then what I pay for here. Also they allow big dogs here my dog Bella just loves Dee in the office we make daily visit to see miss Dee. There are two big parks in walking distance and running trails everywhere which is grate for me and my dog Bella.Me and Bella plan to live here for along time if i could sign a five year lease i would the only way i would move is if I bout a house.I wouldn't rent anywhere else for a single lady I fell safe here”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“I would recommend these apartments to anybody. If you are looking for a place that can be affordable and safe for your family this is the place. My husband and I recently got approved for a apartment. My experience was amazing, --- and ---- are the best. They have one of a kind customer service, I have never experienced such kind and straight forward people. Especially, when it comes to leasing a apartment. NOTHING ABOUT THIS COMPLEX IS FRAUD ! They are very honest with you about how they determine if you can be approved or not. They go by credit, work stability, and rental history. --- makes it clear that the application fee is non refundable, but you can receive your deposit back only if you DID NOT LIE ON YOUR APPLICATIION. IF ANYTHING IS FALSIFIED THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT. Bottom line the apartments are great, staff amazing, and I am so happy that I get to call this place home. I hope that this review can help someone.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“This is going to be my 2nd year here. I love it. They are over-hauling the pool which needed it. The complex is very quiet. No one just hangs around looking suspicious or anything. Yes, it can take a while for maintenance to fix something but that's the same @ every complex. There's a limited amount of maintenance men available. This is the only complex that has one on 24 hour standby for emergencies. & yes, they do come out. I couldn't get in the gate one night & called their number. The maintenance guy was there within 20 minutes @ about 12:30 at night. I knew then that this was the place I wanted to spend years at. Management cares enough to send you a hand-written birthday card. That topped the cake. Again, I love Ashford Creek. Even with a stalker, I wouldn't move. ;)”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“I lived in these apts for 4 yrs and it was all good till sandra came to work there....my rent was always paid on time.....and because i complained about rats she wanted to turn me in to immigration.....not ever thinking that wat would happen to my kids...shes evil.....and if u have her as ur manager somewhere watch out for her...i had to leave and i had nowhere to go was on the street with my kids because of this woman.....now tammy the assistant manager she was very nice ....i have alot of many bad things about sandra.....and i dont know if they ever fixed the problemss but we would catch rsts every night....on the traps...big rats its in the ones buildin in the back”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“I just moved to these apt last month. So far the people we have met have been nice.I dont smell anything bad nor have i seen rats. Most of the people near us are clean and mostly quite. The only thing i do not like about this place, it the fact that the gate stays open on the weekend. Other then that my family is happy with our move.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE--THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES !!!!!!!!!!!!! check your credit report before you go and look and never assume or they will call you fraud !!! Just because we had no idea an apartment was on our credit report, they took all of our money and wouldnt give it back even through we were told we would if our app was denied...thats bull****!! Watch the sign and lease promo as its a way to get your money then they turn you down and keep your money! Who on this earth has hundreds of dollars to just throw at someone and walk away ????? I was only going to try and rent an apartment for a short time until I could find something better however, this just goes to show you I was lucky to walk away. Now I have a beautiful home. THESE APARTMENTS ARE DISGUSTING, VERY VERY SMALL AND THEY RENT TO HOARDERS, FACT, SO IF YOU SMELL SOMETHING NEXT DOOR OR SEE RATS, IT'S MOST LIKLEY COMING FROM THEM. THE MANAGMENT TOLD ME THEMSELVES...BAD IDEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 YOU ALL CAN ROT IN ****”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“My husband and I are apartment shopping and just toured this property. It just made the top of out list of apartments to apply for. Rene and Dee were very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. Their customer service far exceeds any properties we have shopped so far. We could tell that they are very well known and liked by the residents just by the way residents called out to Dee when she was showing us the units. The two units we were shown were AWESOME in size and either will suit our needs perfectly. The grounds are very well kept and clean, hardly any trash in the lot and the dumpsters were clean around them. As far as amenities go, they have a pool and a small picnic area and a place designated for the children to play. Yes, it's not much, but we aren't looking for all that. We are looking for a place to call home. Somewhere our friends and family will feel safe and comfortable to come visit. We feel we have found such a place. They do allow pets with a deposit (very reasonable) and low monthly rent (also very reasonable), which is another plus for us. All in all, we will definitely be going back to submit our application.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“It is a bit rundown, but seems quiet. They had problem in the past, but they seem to be working actively to keep troublemakers out.”
— 3803 SYNOTT RD · Houston“LOOKED AT THE APARTMENTS! WAS TOLD ONE WAS A NON SMOKING APARTMENT AND OBVIOUS CIGARRETE SMELL ALL OVER!!! THEY TOLD ME I DID NOT QUALIFY FOR THE APRTMENT. THANK YOU LORD!!
