I have lived here for 11 years and at the start it was great management. Now I can't wait till my lease is up. Several days ago the outside lights were out. I live on the second floor and for 2 nights people tried to break into my unit. So because of the my living room blinds need to be replaced. I have spoken with management and I get a different excuse every time. Today was the last straw said I had to pay $68.. Oh did I mention the shootings. Do Not Move Here if you care for your safety.

6/20-Tonight was the last straw. We had to call the fire department into a vacant apartment due to fire alarm going off for hours. It looks like a homeless person is living inside the apartment, clothes and jar of piss by the window. There's no lock to the door, can't call anyone at all. I was afraid of a gas leak since the stove has been moved. 8/31/20-Another update, lights by our doors and cars have been out for weeks , my car has been broken into. They have no answers what so ever. 10/31/20-A broken window takes them about a week before it's ordered to it to be fixed it's November and still no window. Even with a police report it happen past midnight. Communication isn't key in the front desk or anyone around here. They don't even look at existing orders before placing the same one again. 12/14/20- Someone decided to go under my car and take the calatyic converter... I feel so violated what the point of having a security guard? Now I'm down a car. Don't move in into these apartments, you will regret it. Also look at Google reviews.

To be honest Do Not Move Here they are rude , the woman who sit on they a.. And eat wingstop do not understand sh.. Everybody confused , I moved in had AC problems every time I went in not the office the lady's ask me who am I , I mean I came in the since I moved in I'm sure they should know who I am , do not move here , the apartment was dirty and not clean at all , I'm still wiping some type of dirt of my counter tops non stop I'm not sure why or where or what it really is , I just moved in October , they had a special first month free , the mangment told me to pay November because of my income in she wants to give me a chance ? I paid November, December here they charged me saying I have a unpayment for this current month, I told them why I wasn't given a notice after the fourth ? Nobody had a answer , two days later as of today I get another saying I owe 51.57 they are cheating you , I got my month free because the manger who only speaks to her residents on Thursdays picked up my file and saw it written down lucky the former lady who was working there wrote it if not I would've had to pay, example they thought I didn't pay my deposit online gave me such a hard time I had to prove a screenshot that I did . if you move here get written documents and written statements these people don't give a ---- . they didn't even give me papers for my lease ??????i had to say something when I thought about this crap I can't wait to move already

I have been a resident here for around 10 years. I have seen management come and go. With me being handicapped Anna in the office is so so awesome. She helps me with all my needs. It brings tears to my eyes when she offers to help me. God has sent me an awesome angel. She has amazing customer service skills. Anna makes this place an amazingly beautiful place to live.??

I stayed here in February 2019. Long story short, during my short stay at Madison park, we had things that needed to be fixed from the first day we moved in, we had a serious insect problem, the power kept going off every 3 days causing me to keep going outside to reset the breaker, our apartment was broken into within 2 weeks of moving in, the thieves even ate some of our food during the break in, the break in was due to management not fixing the issues that were noted on day one of moving in, I found empty cocaine bags around the property by my porch, my parking was reserved for $30 monthly and maintenance department was parked for hours in my spot causing me to call the tow truck company to remove the vehicle (this was after office hours, I really did not want call the tow truck). This all happened within a 3 week period. If you can't run, walk, if you can't walk, crawl. But whatever you do, stay away from these apartments.

Ok let's see. Let me start with stating that I have been living at Madison Park for more than 11 years. I can also say that I have seen a lot, maybe not all but I still have many reasons to call this place "MY HOME". FIRST MANAGEMENT I remember when I moved to this complex 11 years ago. I had my rented truck loaded parked outside of the office and ready to pick up the keys.. well, they gave me the keys.. I was so surprised that I was assigned to a 3 bedroom apartment not even cleaned yet. I got so angry but all they did was to apologize and give me the demo 1 bedroom unit.. really bad management to the point that I just stopped trying to get some help from them. SECOND MANAGEMENT 3 or so years after Management was changed and I was not surprised to see this…. The first thing I saw on the first week was a eviction order giving me 24 hrs to leave the property… the check was posted 5 days before the end of the month. I had to loose more than half of my day at work only to argue hours with this new management and there I was losing hope again staying at this place only until the end of the contract but once again I managed staying away from Management and dealing with issues on my own since the location was important for me. THIRD MANAGEMENT: Out of the sudden we started getting letters of crimes around properly and safety meetings to attend along with a message stating the new management due to new owners of the property. The new lady was so dry, not very friendly and she did not care about residents at all I decided that it was time for me to leave but when I went to drop my 30 days notice I also found out they wanted 60 days now.. I I was not going to give them free money so I stayed… I got so angry about the manager and her excuses blaming the previous management for her poor performance….. Luckily for me in those days I meet a new front desk person. An -------- lady so nice and always willing to help me on anything she also managed to leave me the same rate and payments with out a single cent of increase. Not only that It was always on top of everything. FOURTH MANAGEMENT Well, it was expected, new management again the -------- lady has become a the Property manager with her own team and many things started to change so soon. She really tried as per her allowances and capacity.. to my opinion she was doing very good and so customer oriented.. we all missed her when the property was sold again. FIFTH MANAGEMET: Oh my dear GOD. Extremely awful. Very unprofessional, untrained, lack of respect, very disorganized team. People yelling at them back and forth. Very disrespectfully situation. It was unbelievable the degree of poor performance of the whole team. On top of that when it was my turn to talk t them I was told that rent was going to increase to the market rate no matter what also that my contract was going to be voided… how in the world? Many people talking about law suit against this management and I was not going to be the only one to stay and live this night mare. CURRENT MANAGEMENT: I was surprised to hear that there was new people, new management, better service, very customer oriented team but I took it as a joke because I knew what was inside the office. One day I decided to leave once for all so I went to drop my vacancy letter once more. I had my plan on mind already BUT, Since I got into the office I was amazed of the feeling I had when people ( members of the new team ) greeted me so nice, friendly, smiling and willing to help. I took the chance and told them all the problems I had and left them a list of all the issues also my verbal the 60 days notice. Next day I got a courtesy call from one nice lady telling me that that were working on my problems and that was true. A day after or so the same lady calling me to confirm that the issue were solved also to tall me about the plan for pending repairs. I felt so happy that finally I was dealing with a good customer oriented nice management. Even if they knew I was going to leave they took the initiative to fix my problems. I went to the office to thank them for the great customer service and I was greeted personally by the Manager… What a nice person!!!.. so friendly and professional, carefully listening to my needs and desires. Also the lady who took my case always helping on everything. They all together offer me a new remodeled apartment in order to compensate all the headaches I have previously, that definitely made think twice before rejecting the offer.. Well… I did not take it, I went our instead and started doing my homework around the neighborhood.. I asked several questions to several persons on different areas and most of them told me bad things about the complex… but… the same some story, different ways to tell it… I finally found out that a unhappy customer was spreading his/her word and people believing with out checking themselves. Next day I decided to stay and keep on "calling this place my home". What I learned from here is … I needed to give the opportunity to this new management to show ho committed they are with all residents both more important… I needed to give myself an opportunity to believe that this level of professionalism and care for residents really exist on this new team… you may be surprised as well If you ever give yourself an opportunity to meet them and let them serve you and treat you as you deserve just with the fact of being such a valued customer fo them.

The apartment used to be amazing, the maintanence was johnny on the spot and we never really had any issues leading up to this point. Unfortunately, they changed management and the new management is the absolute f***ing worst. They will rob you, cheat you, throw you under the bus to save their own a**. They will deny you your rights and throw the contract at your face, which they don't even bother to follow themselves. If i have to abide by my contract, then they do too. They will delete your service requests and deny you ever put in one, they will blantantly tell you lies and that they don't have to do things or give you full disclosure of information. It is just unbelievable the quality of work they feel is acceptable for their residence. They complain that they only have two maintenance guys on site, but that they're swamped because they have almost 600 residents? Well, obviously, something is wrong because old management had over 12 guys working the complex and they absolutely did wonders. The leasing agents are next to dumb also, don't expect too much, they change literally every week. When you come back saying you spoke to someone and was promised something, they'll immediately go "oh well they aren't here anymore, so it doesn't matter what they said." Stupid. stupid. STUPID. hate this place.

Where do I start...? First Maintenance is a joke. If you have a problem you better plan on taking off work if you want it fixed.because tell them once, when you get home later it won't be fixed. You have to keep going back to the office 4-5 times(literally) and keep repeating the same thing over and over again. And the only thing they keep on doing is giving you are excuses as to why they can't fix it right now. Always excuses. If I kept giving excuses at my job when my supervisor had something that needed to be done I'd be fired at the end of the day. Second. There are placards all over about being towed if parked in reserved spot. It's a lie. Park wherever you want. As long as you don't see a tag in the window you can park there no problem. Third . A previous review talked about having a problem with bed bugs. Everything she said is true. I had the same problem. Fourth. The common area are full of ----! Everyone walks there dogs over in the grassy are and no one cleans up after them. When they cut the grass(don't know why cause it full of ---- and piss so nothing grows)they just spread it around. So when your walking to your car your dodging ----!There's more things wrong but don't feel like typing out a book. Think you get the general idea tho.

When I first moved here, it was okay. BUT I was being passive. I only had power in half of my apartment for a week before it got fixed. My apartment has bed bugs and roaches. And I clean daily. People have reported that the bugs are traveling from one apartment to another though the electrical sockets. I'm not sure if this is true, but if so, I have NO CHANCE of getting rid of them. And management showed no interest in investigating that theory. I have spoken to management about this. She seemed to listen, but once I confronted her about the allegations of the bed bug infestation, I got a long lecture on all the ways I could have brought them in myself. Completely deflecting any accountability or addressing the previous bed bug reports. Then she told me I have to pay for the extermination. That's 200 bucks on top of my $950 for my 1 br appt. She then tried to soften the blow by saying I could pay in 50 dollar installments per month on top of my rent. Exterminator's treatment lasted 1 week. I haven't even unpacked everything I've prepped and I'm already back at square one. Management's actions only led me to false hope, more expenses out of my own pocket, and no resolutions. I have roaches in my CLEAN apartment. My mailbox has been broken into. I lost more money cause my packages were stolen. They just replace the lock on the mailbox, nothing more. My car has been broken into. I reported it, as well as a possible suspect. Nothing happened. The associate didn't even notify management. Parking is nearly impossible. You could even be towed if your registration and inspection is out of date. Doesn't matter if you live here, are legally parked, and have a parking permit, they will take your car if you're not up to date. My neighbor to my left got robbed during daylight. They moved out the next day. In the past 4 months, 3 tenants have moved in and right back out of there. My neighbor across from me got his car and apartment window knocked out by the apartment's gardener with a weed eater that was hitting rocks. My ac is out again and sometimes my toilet doesn't flush. All reported. They come to work on it, it lasts maybe a month, then boom. It's out again. Don't live here, please.I will be moving the first chance I get. I hope this helps somebody.
