I've been trying to move my family into this complex since 2022. I can't get anyone to respond to my calls nor emails. My mother lives in Sterling Court just a few blocks from here. We needed a 4 br and wanted to stay in this area because my mom has been in this area since 2019. After seeing some of the horrible reviews I guess I can get over it and just move to another section of Houston because I don't want any problems with management. Been there and done that.

Do Not I repeat Do Not move here they are horrible. I pay full rent for a 4 bedroom and yes there are roaches and I moved in March 23 2023. I have had my card broken into and stolen. It took the police 3 days to come out since they said that it was a non emergency. Maggie I guess is the property manager and she is horrible with communication but quick to put notes on your door . I can not wait to leave this place not all life properties are like this but this one is most definitely poorly ran of and it says they close at 6 but the close the off at 5 and come in at 10 .. they will do what they can to get you in but once your in yea you just project trash.. just like the pics posted. Please please rethink your decision and I’m not jus saying this because I’m mad I’m saying this with the proof in the pics. It’s not a gated community the gate has been broken since I’ve moved here and I have a whole recording of Maggie telling me to contact Theresa her boss as I did to let her know I no longer feel safe and to my concerns and to let her know what I would want to do move or how ever and she is making accommodations but nothing I can’t even get an email back but I jus sent an email to the big rigs so we shall she what happens.

If I can give this place zero stars I would first of all ---- or ------- burden is very rude they canceled my app due to no contact when I called them a half dozen times and even emailed with in 24 hrs with questions regarding the documents I needed to send it! Then I get passed to a manager who don’t know anything either to busy talking and not understanding! She telling me check stubs ect could have been sent while doing the app we I had questions which is why I said to contact me but she proceeds to say I could have uploaded that but if I uploaded it or not THEY STILL DID NOT REPLY TO MY QUESTIONS ABOUT DOCUMENTS SO IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED EITHER WAY BECAUSE THEY HAD NOT REPLIED OR CALLED ME IN THE 24 hrs allowed ILL BE DOING A CHARGEBACK ON MY CARD IF MY REFUND IS NOT ISSUED. I honestly would hate to go up there so they can see me because they like to hang up in your face but please believe I’m not the one

I am not a renter at this property - I came to this apartments complex to RECOVER my STOLEN PROPERTY because this is where the THIEVES brought it. True I cannot prove at this time that is was a current tenant or guest of a tenant that is the thief as the security gates do not work at this complex and anyone can enter (or exit from the entry gate) at any time. There does not appear to be security cameras in the public areas or parking areas because the Office Staff never offered to show them to me or when the police came to fingerprint my STOLEN cell phones dumped on-site. Does NOT seem like a safe place to live. Other reviews indicate a lot of other thefts have occurred here as well.

Worst apartments I've ever lived in!!! Yeah they look nice on the outside & inside as well but, they are roach infested apartments. I'm a very clean person & I & all my neighbor's talk about our baby roach problems. If you have children most defiantly not a family friendly environment. Hear gun shots all through the day & night. People getting rob, women getting mugged for their purses, people car getting broke into, tires yet to g stolen off your cars in the day time, while maintenance workers are working!!! Should've done my review & research before I moved in! Absolutely no notices being put on residence doors to notify of the crimes that are being held in theses apartments. If your used to living in the hood or want to move in the hood well welcome home!

NEVER COME LIVE HERE. My brother James Taylor was shot and killed here and the security RAN THE OTHER DIRECTION. Also after my brother was murdered right in front of his apartment the very next week they had leased his apartment to someone else. The management didnt even give us time to get all of the stuff out. We are taking Clearwood for everything they have!!!!

I do not recommend nobody to move into clearwood villas . The kids are stealing everytime you look up ..NO SECURITY! Roaches are out of control ..no ceiling fans nor lights in rooms ...THE NOISE IS OUT OF CONTROL!! The MAINTENANCE MEN ARE GREAT !!! Jodi and crystal in the office are cool hardworking women .but malcome is a pain in the a** he's rude !!!

This place is NOT a SAFE place for your family. I will give that it is better than INDGO FALLS and THE BRISTOL... but still not safe. People are running around all over. Kids are always breaking into the units, or turning the power off to the units via the breakers. Gun shots are what you hear every night due to the area. The Security company that works there are doing a great job ,but has a lot of units and one guy. I wont be moving in. If you are looking to stay here come in the day and see all the traffic on the grounds. Large groups of kids hang out and stare at all the cars. they lean on cars that do not belong to them. The office don't care and never do anything about it.

I have lived in this apartments since hurricane Ike and the where bad then they improved but now they are heading back down hill. the maintence is not good and theri are big flying roaches out side that the office people do nothing about. the come into my apartment about once every three months and charege us for things that they never seem to fix. I will not be signing another lease at these apartments the cheap reant is not worth all the hassle. If you decide to move here then i wishd you well.

The staff here are the biggest liars I've ever met in my entire LIFE! I was scheduled to move-in on a Sat, so i pull up in my UHAUL with ALL of my belongings, only to be told that my "apt was not ready yet". INSTEAD OF CALLING ME THEY DECIDED TO JUST WAIT TIL I SHOWED UP, how lazy could they possibly be!!? So they rescheduled me to Monday morning, and I figured ok, I guess I can make that work, but what about all the fees for having the extended time for my UHAUL?? the leasing Agent DEE-DEE tells me, "oh dont worry about that ma'am, we'll give you a concession or discount that off, we'll work it out" blah blah. Not only did she tell me that my deposit is refundable if not approved or if i changed my mind, she also consistently lied to me about my move in date 2 TIMES!! I call monday morning to confirm and make sure my lease was prepared only to be told that MY APT IS STILL NOT READY AND THAT I CANNOT MOVE IN. WTF! At that point I'm beyond upset, ask for my refund of my deposit, and they tell me that it's non-refundable! The manager Quinton, tells me that he's "almost 100% positive that she did not tell me that it was (deposit)." Well maybe he should get to know his staff just a little bit better!! I've been in the industry of Apartments for over 3years. Never have I experienced this kind of UNPROFESSIONAL, and IRRESPONSIBLE behavior in an apartment community!
