I love my apartment but since I moved in I have had problems with water leaking from upstairs down to my unit. Other than that I have no complaints. I am hoping the problem will get fixed soon as possible.

Maintenance is terrible. The noise from the streets always load. Management staff is not honest when dealing with issues. The grounds always have loose paper floating around because of the tenants who don't care about appearance.

Great for just starting off but would not stay here long. The price was good for the amount of space also just renovated and first family to use the newly renovated apartment so big plus for me. everything was new but the contractors were sloppy with their work.

I have been a resident here at Boardwalk for 6 month, before I moved here I read the review first and started not to move here. After calling and talking to the property manager I decided to stop by just to see the property for myself. Once I arrived to the property Tish showed me a couple of units and they all caught my eyes she made sure the unit I decided to go with fit my budget. I would recommend this property to anyone. Its always nice and clean glad they finial put the reserve parking number back out. After reading the negative comment I decided to comment as well. I love it here and don't plan on moving until I buy a house.

I've been at Boardwalk for 16 years the last two years have been a nightmare. We survived two floods and a lot of construction. Although the property was a mess they finally got it back to normal. Property manager is awesome she's been here for a long time she manly runs the office by herself with no help cause it never anyone in there but her. I love my place it's very convenient to everything.

There are so many thing that are not right with this apartment complex that it is ridiculous. They reel you in with a special price, then try to jack it up when the apartments get flooded because they are so close to the bayou. We lived upstairs, and the people who were living downstairs had to move out. They didn't help them with any moving costs. Also, whoever remained upstairs had to deal with the ac/heat not working. But maintenance does not fix anything. Even when you let them know that there are flames shooting out of your ac vent when you turn it on. You also have a property manager that tries to spy on you while sitting in her car in the parking lot. I felt like I was living in a prison while staying here. But she didn't seem to notice all the illegal things going on in the apartment complex, like the drug dealer that was living in a close part of the complex. I guess she wouldn't see that, because she was also part of that bad element. It didn't make any sense that I had to feel like I was being watched on a daily basis. ---- should be fired!! Then when my lease is up and I want to do a month to month(because I was trying to find somewhere else to live), they offer the month to month, but the rent jumps up from 875-1400 dollars a month. There was nothing on that property that was worth that a month. I had to deal with mold growing around the ac vent. I was getting sick, and it was freezing in the winter, because of not heat. And it was sweltering in the Summer because of no ac. Horrible place!! Do not give them your business

I actually like the location and the apartment because of the space. However, maintenance does not fix on anything and the appliances, paint, door handles, etc are very very cheap. We have to put our door handles on at least once a week. The area was flooded not to long ago so you can tell they didn't want to put much money into remodel. They have extra fees for no reason at all and you want know this until after you sign the lease. If you actually live inside the property then parking might be ok, but if you live on the outside of it there is only space for one car inside the gated area so you or your spouse is left to fight over a spot in the street. They tell you can buy an extra gate key but really want let you for some reason. So on weekends if you need to check the mailbox or take the trash out you have to wait before getting inside the property. If you need something to hold you over for 6 months to a year then go for it. But, I would not recommend anything over that.
