So for fun my boyfriend and I looked up reviews for the apartments we have called home for the last two years. I was surprised to see the reviews of my fellow tenants. Sure it's not the newest or fanciest place in town and yes it is a bit small and can get a little wild on the weekends but you get what you pay for. I am really outgoing and frequently chat with other neighbors as we walk around the complex most everyone we encounter is polite and friendly -- not criminal or creepy ... I personally have never had issues with crime and don't feel unsafe -- well not any less safe than I've ever felt in an apartment complex. I love love LOVE the spacious grassy area in the back -- especially on weekend evenings when everyone gets together for bbq, games and a few beers. Or sitting in the sun to watch a pick-up volleyball match. What a fun sense of community! My only complaint really would be about the roaches ... I will agree with the other reviewers there. Like most we are tidy people and have FINALLY controlled the roach situation with a variety of expensive poisons we apply ourselves. It's a shame that we have accomplished this only to find out our unit is scheduled for demolition soon. Our feelings about being forced out are mixed. On one hand it will be nice to leave the roaches behind, but on the other I don't feel that I will ever find another apartment home with as much unique charm and social community. I truly have enjoyed my time here (roach 'roommates' aside) and will miss it when I'm gone. My point in all this being; you do really get what you pay for. I'm not expecting perfection or the Ritz here. Just a place to live. What I found while here was a quaint, Westheimer adjacent home that is pretty close to most things in town, a great community of eclectic but friendly folks, and an overall charming apartment.

These apartments are completely infested with roaches. We saw them the first day we moved in. After only a month of living here, there is a rat in our apartment. We let management know and they give us the sorriest excuses as to why things can't be done. If you have a maintenance request, they write it on a little sticky note. In order to get anything done you have to hold their hands like children, sit there, and make sure they enter it into the system. Most of the time you have to speak to a manager because they are the only person who may have some semblance of a clue about anything. The only things that work properly are the heat and air. I would not recommend these apartments at all.

STEER CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the most horrible place I have ever lived in my entire life! People are constantly becoming victims of cold blooded murder, there are drug deals gone bad evey day in broad day light, and the management is pure trash. There are so many pot holes that you could lose a tire at any given moment. No matter how clean I kept my apartment, it was infested with a full blown ARMY of roaches. There was even a big nasty sewer rat in my apartment at one time and the management didnt care. there were rat droppings everywhere! That is inhumane and unsanitary. The week before I moved out my restroom sink backed up with sewage and the manager charged me for the damages because maintenance refused to fix it. They are nasty people who only care about money. they will move ----- in if he paid. If you know whats best, run for your life!! I dont care what the price is. You will deeply regret your choice to live here if you have an ounce of class in your bones.

The new manegment sucks, gates always open not safe! After my 3. Year my car has been stolen in patking lot! Ill leave asa my lease exp. !!! Lots of stranger at pool!

Well from my experience of West Point Apts is that they don't follow through with any of the 72 hour fix it complaints, office staff friendly until you sign the lease then watch out they turn ------!!! Apt smells like cat urine and they don't want to fix the problem, I like the way they fix cracks in the bedroom doors-spray paint them or put wood putty in them, base board trim not painted through out, touch up paint don't match at all, refrigerator has so many dents in it-not attractive looking at all, toilet looks like they have never been scrubbed in years, just not impressed with this apt and how the girl talked so highly about it, I would never recommend this place to NOBODY EVER!!!! Glad I'm out of there.

This is the worst apartment I've never seen... Management is really bad, it's dirty, a lot of noise, it's not safe at all for no one, and the construction is really bad. staff OMG, they do not care anything... I strongly do not recommend it to nobody. For sure.

I live here now and am GONE Aug 30 of this year. Been a year and let me tell you what. The management staff have no consideration for your concerns. Maintenance is a joke. I filed an order for the rotten sheet rock in my bathroom ; (that was coming loose and falling from the rafter) to be fixed on day one of move in. It took 6 months for them to replace it. First I showed them the hole I put in it with my finger and they patched over it. Then a month later ( making this 7 months now) They finally came and cut it out and replaced it. I had to flush my toilet with a five gallon bucket for a month. I went to the office physically twice and called three times. On the fourth time I went to the office I was told there was never a work order put in and still took them another 3 days for them to come fix it. REALLY people 5 weeks to fix a toilet. I never saw the apartment till the day I got my keys; the carpet was still wet. I requested my carpet be replaced after 6 months of it ripping and coming up (NEW MANAGEMENT EVEN DID A WALK THROUGH OF MY APARTMENT) After which I was told and I quote "well that's just not going to happen" YOU CAN SEE THE CONCRETE UNDER MY CARPET. Fleas and ROACHES run wild. You can request the bug man and he will never come I know I asked for spraying of my apartment in February. The washing machine let me tell you your better of using and old wash tub with a washing rack to clean your clothes. So with all this and that aint the half of it I say this. To the owner of the property "You should be ashamed of yourself and I have no earthly idea how you lay your head down at night a sleep knowing that this is happening with one of your properties."

TERRIBLE!!!!! I can just believe and cant understand why they can never F#*&!!! answer the phones!!!!!!! THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES AT THE OFFICE PEOPLE!!!!! I had an emergency one day and they never pick up a call, but when i went to the office right away to see why they didnt answer, they were just hanging around doing nothing and i told them why a hell they coulnt answer my phone calls for an emergency and they coulnt find an answer... are you F#$%!!! SEROIUS???? IS A F#@$ HUGE APARTMENT COMPLEX, WHY DONT YOU F$%@ PEOPLE HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO BE MORE EFFICIENT??? ANSWER YOUR F#$@ PHONES!!!!!! RUDE PEOPLE IN FRONT AND BACK OF THE OFFICE. There is a maintenance guy that bother me a lot, he knocks in my door very early in the morning to "check on me" WHAT!!!!!????? DID I REQUEST YOU??!! and one day very early HE OPEN MY DOOR!!!! I WAS SLEEPING AND GET UP TO SEE WHO WAS KNOCKING SOO EARLY AND THANKS GOD I HAD THE LOCK ON THE DOOR, OTHER WAYS HE WOULD OPEN MY APARTMENT WHILE I WAS ON BED SLEEPING... Thanks God my boyfriend was there the last time he did that because he run away as soon as he saw him AND SINCE THEN, he havent do it anymore, he knows i live alone, so i dont know what his deal.. ANYWAYS, THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS A BIG NO!!!! I HAVE PEOPLE MOVING IN CLOSE TO ME AND LOOKS LIKE KILLERS. I HAVE TO SLEEP WITH A KNIFE NEXT TO MY BED SINCE ALL THIS S@#$ IS HAPPENING... NO NO NO!!!!!

I have lived there for 6 years now and will definitely be leaving at the end of December. The new management company (Asset Plus) is without a doubt the worst out of the 5 or 6 since I've been there. The olympic sized pool is the big deal for getting people to lease there but what they don't get told is that it has probably been open 14 days ALL SUMMER LONG!!! The city came and closed ALL the pools in early July and it has been open only 6 or 7 days since. After a day or 2 of people swimming it looks like a swamp and has to be closed and so on and so on ad infinitem. And....... ROACHES,ROACHES, ROACHES!!!! The only person in the maintenance staff that was worth a damn has now given his notice. You hear gun fire all the time by the Bayou but the staff refuses to do anything about it. There used to be a lot of squirrels and rabbits in the green area which people enjoyed watching and feeding but the people that they let move in now shoot them and eat them. They have been seen cleaning them on the picnic table that other people eat on but the new management doesn't see a problem with that. There is a 55 gallon garbage can in the green area for people BBQing or having a picnic that many of the residents now use for their household garbage and it just piles up. You can see the rats at night there. The access gates almost never work, never on the weekends, and the rate of tire and car theft is unreal. If anybody is considering moving there I would highly recommend talking with some of the long term tenants and walking the property on the weekends when half of the people there using the facilities don't even live there.And FYI..... There are dog breed restrictions but this place looks like a boarding kennel for Pit Bulls. GOOD LUCK IF YOU DO RENT THERE! You've been warned.

If you want to live here, first asked to see the main pool which will be closed and more than likely green. Drive by on Friday through Sunday and most entry gates will have been broken and open. The parking lot is full of pot holes. When I first moved to Creekside some 6 years ago it was beautiful. The office staff had worked here forever, some 23 and 18 years. The good staff has left. Management has changed 5 time in the last 4 years. They ran most of the good tenants and staff off. The property is neglected, the pools are always shut down because they either don't staff to take care them, or the equipment is broken. We have had two murders in the last few years, cars are constantly broken into, entry gates are broken and not working almost every week-end allowing anyone to enter. Many stolen cars where recently found in the parking lot. Management DOES NOT CARE!!! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! I am leaving, as soon as my next lease ends, or I can buy myself out the lease, and it is sad because it used to be a nice, beautiful place to live.
