This is a pretty old property so there are some common maintenance problems but they always seem to fix it very quickly. Maintenance, Location, and prices are great!

I moved here from a truly inferior apartment complex, but I don't think my opinion is skewed too far in the affirmative. Exterior landscaping and maintenance are superior. The complex is well cared for, with responsive office and maintenance personnel. It is fairly quiet - and certainly quiet when it should be. Security Is excellent, requiring keys to enter the premises (both hard keys and electronic). Locks are changed on the apartments after move-out. The apartment itself was very clean on move-in with name-brand appliances (with a dishwasher that does not require that precleaning of dishes and a refrigerator with working ice maker). Parking is covered and assigned.

Affordable, responsive maintenance, pleasant office staff, great location for taking walks down Memorial. For us, the combination of price and location couldn't be beat. Older building, so there's an occasional day or two of maintenance during the year where water or air will be shut down for 8 hours for entire building. Rent went up $100 over 3 years, but I think that's more driven by supply and demand in Houston. Over 3 years I only had to knock on a neighbor's door once because of noise. Had to leave 5 months early from rent, no lease break provided in contract but manager allowed us to exit once they found a tenant to take over, not ideal but I signed the contract every year for 3 years, so they were gracious in letting us out.

When I came live at Fox Hall, I planned on staying 6 months, and I've now been here six years. You can't beat the location or the price- my rent has gone up less than $100 in six years, bills included! The biggest issue this apartment has is that the infrastructure is old- pipes burst, leaks happen, water can be a little rusty when first out of the pipes, and no, there are no washer/dryer connections (except for a few rare apartments that are never available)- but the difference is that they have the best maintenance staff on the planet. Don and his crew are constantly patching and fixing and keeping this place together. Without them, this would be a totally different review. You can read reviews of places that cost 2-3x what this does, or were just built 6 months ago, and you'll have loud crazy neighbors and uncaring staff- but Sue and her staff do a great job of booting out troublesome people and maintaining order. Apartment life will never be perfect, but if you have to do it, this place is pretty great.

After two months at Fox Hall apartments I have come to really appreciate a few things I never suspected when I first arrived. I love the international community of residents. And the unbelieveable consideration they all have and show to one another. Though there are a few kiddos around the noise level and order outside don't give that away. Fox hall being a secured community, it's great to have off street parking so convenient and available to guest. The laundry rooms are sparkling clean, the repairs are above and beyond and super prompt. Management is friendly and accommodating. Being so removed and yet convenient to the Katy Freeway and not far from the 610 loop FoxHall is easily accessible to the greater Houston area. I love Fox Hall and I recommend it to all. I really like living at Fox Hall. It's in a very nice part of town, convenient to my job, shopping, everything I do. Fox Hall is an older complex but it's well kept and quiet and I've always had quick responses from the office when I've had questions. The rent is reasonable for Houston, too. One day I'll buy another house but, until then, I'll live here at Fox Hall.

It is nice living at fox hall, its always quiet and even though its an older property it is so very well taken care of I'm very happy I chose to move here. Anytime I need help the office staff are very friendly and helpful, and maintenance have always got to my request in a reasonable amount of time the handful of times I have needed them. Also a plus to everything else here is that all my bills are included in my rent which I couldn't find ANYWHERE! I would definitely recommend fox hall to people it is a great community.

Fox Hall Apartments is a great place to live. I have lived at Fox Hall for several years. It has great floorplans, nice grounds and pleasant management.Fox Hall is in a great location and we can get to work quickly and the schools are great for our kids. We love to go to the Galleria and the restaurants in the area. The Memorial area is quiet and all of the tall trees make for a peaceful shady enviroment. We have not had many problems but any issues have been quickly resolved. Parking has not been a problem and easy access is important for us. We love the area and have enjoyed our time at Fox Hall and plan to renew our lease!
