I recently moved from Carrollton, TX and I was not familiar with the Houston area. This was the 9th place I had gone to look for an apartment. I needed something close to the Energy Corridor, so this was one on of the many I had on my list. I since I had NO luck finding an apartment, but I look at Palm and did love the aparment.

We have been living here for 2yrs. The maintenance staff and office staff(Carla and Norma) have promptly taken care of any maintenance issues we have asked of them. The place is old and and there are what appears to be lower income folk here, but that would be in any apartment complex of this price range. This place is very reasonable considering the higher priced homes in the surrounding areas. The windows are old so you do hear people outside, especially if they are talking loud. But you cannot have everything, unless you pay much more in rent at another complex. The gates seemed to have problems often, but it seems its someone vandalizing to keep it open so they dont have to use their card to gain access. Section 8 folk are everywhere, that's the law to let them live at better places and be subsidized by the government. Definitely not the worst place, but not River Oaks obviously.

Ok i live here going on 3 yrs and i just renewed my contract....Every apartment complex i have lived in always has bad reviews which are not always true...Most of the time its the ------ people that most likey can't come up with rent or get kicked out. As for Palm Court i moved over here because my sister lives here, and its really not so bad...Yes we have ------ people here there everywhere even when you pay $1200 a month you will still have ------ --- people.Their everywhere i mean if you complaing then why u still here?.Crime is everywhere im tired of reading that in every complex i've lived in, people we live in houston it is what it is!...Yes the water has been shut off and when i called they said the boiler pump busted....Hello u live in an apartment complex there leaks their stuff coming out the sewer, that stuff happens in any complex either upscale or cheap all the time why get mad...When u have a house what you gon do?...Call your realtor and complain...lol....No thats why i anit buying a house cause i can't pay to fix that stuff....In my opinion i like it here and im not going anywhere i like my apartment...Rent is affordable for me i just dont like them ------ --- apartments down the street....

These are the worst apartments to date. They pretend to have everything under control, but they let the water get cut off. This is West Houston. They are supposed to be upscale and professional.Not!! This is the hood. They tow your car when they want to. They don't fix anything. They don't appreciate working class citizens as residents. They use to illegal activities, ignorant tenants and Section8.No class about this place.

We recently had a death in the family that caused a lot of finiacial problems. Well when the problem was reported to the office staff they were rude and uncaring and wanted the keys returned to the apartment in two days. Not to mention that we have been residents for two years have never paid late or missed a payment. Always paid the whole light bill even though it was high most months. we were not asking not to pay the rent just asked for a little time to get the furneal out of the way and get the business straight at the bank so that the funds would be avialble. The fact that it is already a bad situation made worse by the felling of being treated liks a second class citizen. Everyone has expirenced death and they know that at times there are anywhere from a few problems to numerious ones that can occur. Showing compassion is not a crime and it only would have taken a few words to express symapathy. I hope that no one else makes the mistake of renting from this complex. They bait you in with decent prices and then the light bill is extremely high and they refuse to fix anything. My vehicle has been broken into two times.

this is ------. staff ------ n poorly traine "the High school is great .but this apartment's are bad. security????where?? those clown's w/ uniform r rude n dont have no respect for anyone.Office staff r a joke.not friendly a all!every day is a break in aptrtment or car's.smoking weed in tha parkinglot??? "wow" thas almost good. they have crack houses in the back. dont ever walk to the back of this propety at nite you migth get robe, stabb or kill just plain n simple. Dont rent in this place for you on good. oh! those secury gate's??? hahahaha another joke they alway's broke, n after Ike everything has gone really BAD...worse the living in the hood!!

I have lived in many apartments but let me tell you about this one, it has to be the worst complex in Houston. My car was broken into twice and towed once accidently by the apartment complex, managers refused to deduct it off of my rent or refund. To top everything off, i have personally warned their manager exactly 30 days before and gave them the new adress of where i was going to be, they said everything was okay and they had noted the notice on the computer. Then 6 months later i started getting calls from credit collection companies saying that i didn't pay rent for one month and i now owed them $700 something dollars for what ? .. for nothing! I personally went back and tried to square this off with their manager and she said that i didnt give them a written notice and they why i was charged but they had my number and new adress. Why i didnt know about this for 6 months and had to deal with annoying collection calls everyday. Im not even going to mention the rude security guards who think they are special forces or something flashing their lights directly at your face even though they recognize the car. I also have seen kids smoking weed outside in the back of the parking lot. Not a family oriented environment per say. Bottom line is, horrible management, old apartments, bad security, overpriced and they will screw you over if you give them a chance.

I have lived here almost a year and nothing that I ahve reported has been fixed I ahve had my apartment flooded three times and they have yet to fix the damage and there is mold and roaches out of this world I was so happy to move here because I love the area nad the school is so close I feel comfortable letting my son walk to school but my apartment looks like I live in a run down shack in the bottoms somewhere. The light biil has been extremely high over 300.00 dollars a month and I get attutide when I complain in the office I am so mad and fed up I just don't go there anymore I am in the process of packing up my stuff but I hate to move my son from the school and I ahte that the apartments are just getting your money and not doing any upkeep in my case I think I just got someone elses problem apartment. I am so unhappy no need to buy new furniture because house is a dump. Ashamed to invite company over because the paint is coming off the walls the guest bathroom has a toilet that is not attached that was like that when I moved in because my move in date came and went and they did not have the apartment ready. I had to move in with the gurantee that it would be fixed here I am a year later and nothing is done can not decorate the walls because the paint is coming off like wallpaper. My car has been broken into twice and during the Hurricaine because of poor drainage and trash my car got a lot of damage and on top of having to move I have to get a new car also.:-(

If you like small children that cuss you out or key your cars they carry fake guns around to try to scare adults then this is the place for you.Then if you even talk back to these misguided children the parents will beat you up.So you go report this to Mangement they say ohhhh no, nothing is done about it. Please do not move in here.They rent to crazy adults that are drunk all the time walking around cussing yelling all day long. What i can not figure out none of them work are we still supporting Katrina losers I pray for the day I can get out.

the only decent people here is just a couple people working at the office, the kind deaf man with his badass sweaters, and anyone else who is respectful of other's privacy and handling their paraphernalia smartly in their own homes, not the sidewalks.
