Not a good place to live at all, frequent repairs, roaches, bed bugs, bumpy roads, uncleaned swimming pools. The washing machines do not work, the leasing office takes $2 service fee for every payment through online portal, as they do not accept checks by hand, Gym is scrap and there no kids play areas. No outdoor sports. Do not blindly trust people here. Had bad experiences. The rents are cheap though. Frequent maintenance problems and sewage leaks.

When I first moved into this apartment complex I was surprised at how low the rent was and how big of space I got for it. I thought I had got a deal. But oh how things change... First of foremost I will say that the staff in the office is horrible. They forget to put work orders, answer rudly, and basically have no care for residents in my opinion. Maintenance was a huge issue. The workers were incompetent. They took forever to fix an issue. And when I say fix I mean tweak it as best they can and not really take care of the issue. I had a leak in my ceiling and the ceiling actually caved in on me when I was in the shower. The ceiling never got repaired the only thing they fixed was the leak after I called almost 4 times to fix it. There was a hole in the ceiling for almost two months up until I moved out. When I first moved in I thought I had hit a deal based on how low the rent was I was paying almost $680. But when I renewed my lease for some reason my rent and jumped up almost $100. And for the space that I'm getting the location where and all the issues that were coming along I felt that I was overpaying for sure. They would have water issues with their cut off the water. The water pressure was low. It was bedbugs there was roaches. The trash is always over flowing. The residents walk around after 8 o'clock and you have to be very cautious when driving there because they won't let their children run around without supervision. The security is a joke. The gate issue is huge, you have to have a card in order for you to open the gate there is no code. All in all I will never recommend somebody moving into apartment. They are horrible. After I moved out I thought a huge side of relief. They can keep my deposit money as I don't want anything to do with them after I moved out.

I lived at 7979 from August 28, 2014 to August 31, 2015. When I first moved to this complex I was so excited to find a place that was under 900 a month, but then the issues began. The first issues I had within a few days of living here, I discovered my "Wash room" that was added on right before I moved in, was built about 8 Inches to shallow. I complained to the front office and I was continually told that the problem was my washer (I had a regular size washer/dryer units). They finally agreed to "fix" the issue. When I got home after the contractor had "fixed" the room, I had discovered they just put up some plywood extenders onto the door frame and expected me to let them attach the bifold doors onto that and call it a day. I ended up having to contact HAA to get the issue resolved. In March 2015, I woke up at 2 am to a busted pipe in the ceiling. I understand things happen, but the way the repair was handled was very disappointing. The drywall person hired to fix the ceiling patched the hole up with a new piece of drywall and slapped some white paint over that dry wall, THATS IT! no tape, no texture, and float. I also had HUGE ROACHES for the last 8 months of my lease. I am a very clean person and never left food or crumbs out. The roach problem continued on throughout my the remainder of my lease. Then, around May of 2015, the complex kept all of the pools on properly closed for roughly 2 months for reason unknown. A constant issue on this property to add to the list is the majority of the residents that reside there like to come out right at sunset and walk (entire families) around the entire complex. This would not be an issues if it stopped right at dark, but it continues on until about 1030 at night causing major issues when trying to park your car; there are just so many people out walking around late at night that it causes a huge issue PARKING! Nearing the end of my lease, I gave my 60 day notice and at move out I thoroughly cleaned the apartment from top to bottom. I moved out on August 31, 2015. It took this property management company 1 month and 14 days to give me a partial deposit back (which I had to drive down to pick up because they couldn't seem to get it in the mail). I say partial because they charged me $25 dollars extra to "clean" the restroom and kitchen. If I had pictures after I moved out to send to HAA, I would have sent them. I must say the newer manager of the property Jessi is a very polite and professional lady; I hope she is able to do something positive with this property. The office was always very good about calling and checking up on repairs that were called in to make sure the work was complete; I will give them that. I would advise anyone that is searching in this area for a decent place to live for around $800-900 a month should look else-where.

Pros: - If you want everything at walking distance. I like the location. - For this Rent at this location..these are really good. Cons: These apartments are good.....If you have not seen average/good apartments. but these are not bad. .. If you can live with roaches..bed bugs..and besides living with them ..if you can kill 10-15 roaches everyday.. then these apartments are good. At least I managed to fix bed bugs problem after spending around $50-$100..But many people are not that good at it. - Parking is also a problem.. but it is OK.. because if you are at home before 6.. you are good. -- Worst ever staff... they have no value for their commitments.. they keep changing their statements..But you need to deal with staff some time only.. so it is OK... --During Rainy season.. the Corridor for my apartment split into small lakes.. so you cross it and end up reaching home with all wet shoes..but rain is not all the time.. so just avoid this comment... ..Swimming pools are clean sometimes....since you do not go to pool everyday.. it is OK.. I had membership outside.. so i did not use it much.. Some of the apartments in the community are good.. So nothing wrong in trying it..

Hello All, I am pissed off with 7979 Apartment. There is no security at all. I came here and my room has been robbed within 2 month. I lost my all the gadgets. No surety to get the insurance for my loss. Management is very bad here. Any thing can happen any time here. I will not suggest anyone to come and stay here. I am just waiting to get my lease over, so that I can change the apartment, As they are not ready to return my security deposit...
