If you have $500-600 to spend on rent please find somewhere else with better management. I've been a resident for almost 2 years. Everything listed from the older review below is still accurate. The management has changed twice since I've been here and those pot holes they were speaking of have become craters in the parking lot. I didn't know this site allowed pictures, I will be back to post picture of what the property really looks like from the inside. The street view is nice, but after you enter the gate that is frequently jammed the apartments are not worth what they charge. The are not run down on the outside, the grass is cut every week so its nice but the sprinkler come on whenever the feel like it and block the sidewalks and entrances so your clothes, food, clean/dry laundry will be SOAKED. Not damp. The parking is not large enough for the residents who live there and I have had to park 5 buildings away from my apt when I get home from school at night for the past 2 years. Between 5pm and 12am there is ALWAYS someone outside using the parking lot as a club. These people block parking spaces and residents cars with their cars and blast their radios loudly. I'm 22 so I like to have fun as well, these people disrepect residents by blasting loud music outside the SMALL parking lot. These people also sit on your car and stairwell, pretend not to speak english when you tell them to move and leave GLASS beer bottles in front of your apt, car and broken in the street where THEIR children play. We pay our rent on time every month and we pay extra each month just in case of an emergency, so they owe us money. I filed a report with the Houston Apt. Association and the Better Business Bureau because I gave the rental office more than 3 weeks to fix each problem IN WRITTING each week in addition to phone calls and they refused to take action to fix them. Problems include: The hot water heaters broken for TWO MONTHS. No hot water to clean or bathe. A/C Vent broken. Dishwasher was broken. Closet shelf/rod broken. My closet rod fell down. They refused to fix it so my husband and I fixed it ourselves and put most of our stuff in storage and it STILL broke again. 5 weeks later they brough some extra screws to hold it up.

After living here for one year I would recommend everyone to look elsewhere. These apartments have so many problems it's hard to know where to begin.
The many potholes that once lined the parking lot were filled in with cement which is slowly cracking and creating not only pot holes but giant rocks in the street.
My apartment leaks everytime it sprinkles outside and I have complained about this over 10 times only to have a maintanance person come by and stare at the problem and bring a fan to dry my carpet. THAT DOES NOT FIX THE LEAK!!
There is a party in the parking lot every weekend so no need to go to a bar or a club. Just step outside of your door and you will find groups of people drinking and playing their loud music.
The office staff is very ignorant and they don't ever help you with your problems. That is you can even find someone in the office.
The parking lot is way too small for the number of people who live in the apts. We have a two bedroom with 3 adults who each have jobs & therefore each need a car. We have to fight for a spot and sometimes end up parking on the opposite of the complex.
One last thing, the people who live here cannot drive. My car and my sister's car have both been hit on two seperate occasions by some idiot while parked. The office staff said that they were not responsible for damage to the vehicles and that we are parking in the parking lot at our own risk.
In other words if you are going to pay 500-600 dollars for an apartment GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!

My husband and I lived at Seton Chase about 8 years ago and my car was stolen from the parking lot. At first it was a nice place, not pretty but quiet. We took a 6 months lease and even though I was not completely happy there we renewed it for another year because of the low rent and because we were never at home (and we had no kids at that time). That was a huge mistake!!!!!!!! It became impossible to live there. Lots of residents used to party a lot and the grounds were always dirty with beer cans and trash. It also became too noisy. But the worst thing was to deal with burglaries. In one month 15 apartments were broken and that was when my car was stolen. I moved out immediately!!!!!!!

It's true what they say, you get what you pay for. But this is ridiculous! I filled my own pothole and tried to encourage other tenants but to no avail. The apt. ad should read: Need a hole to fill? We got em! Short on rats? We've got more than we can handle. Need ------ assistance? Stop by our office. We open late and close early. So make it fast! Need someone to not listen and not give a hoot? Again, stop by our office. We'll be glad to mistreat you!
You want shelter, buy a tent! It probably won't leak like my apartment does on those long, long, long rainy day or nights.

I have lived here for a year and I want out. A year lease should only be a year and not a year and 4 months.

On two seperate occasions I have caught people going through my laundry.
I have had my car broken into but nothing stolen.
3 days out of each week the gate is broken. If you can't get in then you can't get out.
A washer waterline broke upstairs and leaked inside my apartment. All the maintaince guy did was paint over the stain. Now there is what appears to be black mold growing in the corner where it began to leak.
The boiler has been broken a total of 11 times. The time spanning without hot water or no water at all was from 2 hours-8 hours.
Getting large mail here is almost impossible. The office lost a package of mine and on several occasions I have had friends tell me that there package was sent back to them.
There are very LARGE pot holes from the entrance to the back of the apartments and no attempt to fix them.

The office staff appears to be nice to your face but when confronted with a problem with the complex it never seems to get done.

After about 3 weeks of living here I had to buy 2 cans of mase one to keep on me and one to keep in my apartment and a machete. I do not play around when it comes with my belongings or safety.
