Run away from this place if you can. Managment is terrible , rude , unprofessional and discriminating . Thanks God I don't live here I just stopped by to ask for info but the lady who attended me couldn't be so mean she barely answers my doubts and questions and definitely refuses to rent me an unity cause my service dog, so if you are a dog lover or have a disability don't consider this place, I told her that is against the law, but she said that they had a case like this in court before and they won (funny) when I asked to talk to the manager she told me she was the manager with 16 years working in the place, and above her nobody but the owner and of course he never will talk with a resident . Btw her name is Cindy she offered me a business card if I wanted complain or something , but I just told her that I will public in the web my bad experience but she didn't care and smiled- I'm not upset cause the discrimination about my service dog- I really hope she never needs one, but the unprofessionalism and the way to treat people... Hopefully the owners pay more attention to they property !!!

I have lived here for 2 years and its decent, but not the best. you get what you pay for... i am a 28 year old male so i am not picky about the loud squeaky neighbors above, bad parking, gate not working, leaks in the roof, small burglaries from kids around the neighborhood apartments across the street that break in. its petty stuff and it happens everywhere. it is convenient to chinatown restaurants, but the food and drinks get boring. there is occasional traffic jams because there is a school nearby, but you get use to it and avoid it daily. parking here sucks, my friends car get towed and you are really allowed 1 car only. oh yeah, i forgot the maintenance crew can care less about you. they take their sweet time to fix problems you bring up to their attention. but like i said again, that stuff doesnt bother me much. laundry machines suck too so go to a washateria somewhere else.

I just moved in here and I like it. Everything in my apartment is new when I moved in. it's not a recently built apartment but the condition is pretty good for the price. And the maintenance service is good too. I made a request on the morning and I found it was already fixed when I came back home after work. They also have weekly pest control which I could use. The neighbors are nice here. I live upstairs and I do notice the wooden floor makes noise when I walk. I try not to run or move heavy things during late hours and I never received complaints from downstairs. The best thing here is the location. Bunch of restaurants and groceries makes life easy. Even in late night, I can just walk few minutes to get my favorite milk tea and shaved ice. I read some reviews and I want to say, this is a multifamily place and there are certain rules you need to follow, such as you cannot park here without a parking permit. That's reasonable for me. If everyone can park here then I couldn't find a parking lot after work! What I need to do is just make sure the permit is valid and I don't think that's a big problem compared with no parking place.

I feel the leasing office and even it's management company are not very professional. What they really care is how much income generated month by month. They don't care about how you feel comfortable or not, it seems none of their business. Most of the time, they even don't respond for maintenance or repair very quick. If you dare complaint to them, they voice might higher than you. Continually, you'll have bad days to live here... scratching your car...etc. You will experience a lot of things make you feel sucked. Leasing office works closely with towing company to drag your car out if you have more than one car or without sticker and it will costs you a lot of money to pay. They never doubted that they did not limit the number of car of adults in one apartment and quite many tenants driving car without ID or license that contribute to too many cars parked inside. Don't think you can park outside to be free, it costs you almost the same. Police especially work tightly with this leasing office. There are many ways would cost you to live here. It costs more than discount the office gives to you in the beginning. It definitely not a paradise, but like hell. especially when you hear somebody screaming on the day time or at night. Every year when you sign new contract, you will find your rent raise almost 15 to 20%. And, their laundry machine and dryer get out of control so often that, again, you'll lose money you never think about before you live in. Leasing office would tell you to call provider directly. In brief, I never lived in an apartment that makes me feel so bad ever.

Terrible place to live. You can hear everything the neighbor does. The people in the office are rude and careless. My bathroom ceiling leaks and they said it's a normal thing. My bathroom floor is always wet is that normal? There are bats everywhere and dogs with no owner. My next door neighbor spokes pot and we can smell it, it's like we are smoking too. It told managment they never did anything.

The time we moved in our apartment we were told it has been ready,we also face to face double checked with cindy and she promised it will be ready! but when i went to pay the first rent and try to move in they told me we can not move in that day! told that the apartment is still in fixing ...she told us at least we need to wait another week , but we already moved out our old apartment, why wait until we moved out our old apartment then tell us ... We have no choice moved to hotel stayed for a week. Then second time we try to move in , they could not give us the gate entering remote, keep telling me and my grilfriend only one person can do the remote in office but Only cindy can give us the remote, and she was not in that day. we waited for few days . we got the keys but not able to enter the main gate with our luggages. The residence is nice and good location, lot of nice people live in here , the place is also safe.

I love living here! I am stunned to read some of the negative reviews or opinions. honestly, their is no such thing as perfection...in the real world you have to accept that while living in a community their are always going to be things that we find irritating to some degree. We have lived here at Bellaire Silk Apartments for 7 months now, and my ONLY complaint is that there are people who insist on dropping garbage outside of the dumpsters and not IN the dumpsters. But ...people like this live in EVERY community! We live in a down stairs unit, and yes at times we can hear our neighbors upstairs...That's the reality of living in a multi level complex. I have no complaints about the noise because I think it is completely reasonable to hear your neighbors to some degree. As for bugs...since we have lived here, we have seen 3. I freaked out at every instance and asked for them to come spray (they have weekly pest maintenance). There is by no means a insect problem in our building thank goodness, because I am seriously not a tough girl when it comes to insects of any form excluding ladybugs! They have a maintenance crew...not just one or two...a whole crew! And they are all friendly and courteous. The office staff.....well...Cindy is like a wizard. She makes stuff happen and handles problems so fast it blows your mind! I feel bad that I don't even give anyone else a chance to fix my problems because She is just too awesome. As far as safety, I am a chicken...I am super paranoid...but I feel safe enough in this community that I will walk to the dumpster alone in the dark. The fence gate works 90% of the time...but they always get it working fast when it goes down. And if you think about it...it's a statistical miracle it works as often as it does because the wear and tear that it goes through. Open close open close open close.....Anyway..I tried to shoot down all the negatives I read...I love this community! It's a working class diverse and awesome complex! Some of the apartments down the street look pretty rough...but Bellaire Silk is very well watched over. Management has a vested interest in this community as they live here and are raising their children here too.

If you like nosey neighbors and bad parkers, upstairs neighbors who walk like they dont have training, gates always broken, TERRIBLE TRAFFIC! spanish community, drunk drivers, -------- more -------- more Mexican and peka panish then this is for you no doubt hot dogs and Asian food. Once you start to see cats and bats that means this is a peka panish mexican community. At first I loved now I hate. 6mnths left im out of here. No resign at all. Ill take my --- somewhere else. Casaway amigos would of gave it a 5 but ---- that to many peka panish. Staff is wonderful. God bless them.

Overall I would not recommend these apartments. The day I moved in maintenance was still working inside my apartment. Later I found a fell nest of roches inside the back of the fridge wich was sappous to be new. I spoke with one of the ladies in the leasing office and she replied to me with a smile quote, " I rather have roches then bed buggs." I asked for pest control and pest control never came. Then I my dishwasher and garbage disposal where not working. I had to call six times to have maintenance come just to only fix my grabage dispole 3 weeks later. And 5 months later come to fix my dishwasher. Maintenance is very poor cheaper apartments have better maintenance and management. The one day maintenance was working on the apartment up stairs where our neighbors had moved. When one of the maintenance men through from upstrais a mattres which landed on top of my grill and roses. I called to place a complaint with managment telling them that the mattress could have landed on my 18month little girl and asked them kindly to pay for the damage of my roses wich just was $40. They told me that they where not going to pay for anything that they where not responsible for the damage the caused. All of this happend in less then 6 months of living here. And security let me just tell you the ladies in the front office quote, " Dont have their boys work after 5pm and on weekends." (Maintenance) so the gates are opend at night with no one left to repair them and this happens daily.

I think this apartment rent is reasonable, while every year they will raise up around 10%. some problems even not very obvious, but I do unpleasant about the dumps of cracked pieces of walls scattered long time ago inside the space of fan of the air conditioner. More or less of the dust would blow out when the air conditioner is running. Another one you won't feel comfortable is, there're many Mexican young boys playing and screaming after school for many hours till night around center block that have apartment buildings surround it. Make it looks like they are living in their own home. Even have been responding many times to the office, they seem don't care about it. And they keep screaming exaggeratedly to death, or they cannot show their joyful and happiness in the hell otherwise. If you're senior or don't like too much noise, please don't come here for suicide. Yes, they made some landscapes on this center block that provides quite good playground for these Mexican young boys. Even there is an elementary school with a lots of playground just across the street. Sooner or later, this property management company would waste landlord's money to maintain turf, weekly or monthly ...
