Llevo varios meses viviendo en el complejo y definitivamente quisiera que se venciera ya mi contrato para salir de este condominio y no regresar jamás . Estan siempre tratando de sacarnos el dinero a los inquilinos . El cuarto de lavandería a pesar de tener lavadoras nuevas no sirven y para lavar la ropa hay que tener 100 dolares en la app que es infuncional porque las mismas usan tu dinero una y otra vez y no lavan , nadie te refunda el dinero de vuelta . Otra cosa es que cuando van a la oficina a solicitar mantenimiento mandan al señor 2 o 3 días tarde . Las instalaciones están deplorables en pésimas condiciones e invadidas de cucarachas y aún así quieren cobrar cargos y sobregiros por todo aún ellos sin cumplir con todo lo que dice el contrato . La piscina abrió 2 días y al tercero informaron que la habían cerrado . Hasta para inscribir un carro te piden dinero , yo al mes de estar viviendo aquí­ quise poner a mi marido en el contrato y me pidieron de depósito un money order de 450 dolares mas otro de 50 por la aplicación . No le recomiendo a nadie vivir aquí . Realmente me arrepiento de haber firmado un contrato en este condominio y las personas que se han ido de aquí que yo conozco me han dicho que por mas que uno cuiden las instalaciones y cumplan con las normas JAMÁS devuelven el depósito inicial que por cierto es bien caro . Realmente yo me siento Defraudado totalmente y no le recomendaría absolutamente a nadie mudarse aquí

Desde que empezó la nueva administración en Bellaire Silk, esto se ha vuelto un circo, un desastre, engañando a los inquilinos para cogerles su dinero, y no cumplir con lo prometido, Ejemplo, Yo en la Oficina deje saber, que yo estaba interesada en cambiarme para un apartamento un poco más amplio, y con mejores condiciones, ya que, este estaba en malas condiciones con black mold, que es algo bien peligroso para los pulmones, me dijeron, que mejor no hiciera contrato, y empezará a pagar $100 dólares de más, mes a mes, hasta que se desocupara un buen apartamento, después de estar 6 meses pagando $100 dólares demás por algo, que no lo valía, me llamaron para decirme, que ya se había desocupado uno, y que si lo quería tenía que dar $100 para que me lo separaran, y así lo hice, pero después de esto me llamaron de la Oficina para decirme, que la política del Edificio habían cambiado, y ya no permitían el traslado de un apartamento a otro, y que si quería el apartamento, tenía que salirme completa del complejo, y volver aplicar como nueva inquilina, y ahora, yo me pregunto, si había cambiado la política del Edificio, porque permitieron que yo por 6 meses estuviera pagando $100 dólares de más por algo que no lo valía. Esto en la administración anterior de Martha, no me hubiera pasado. Los cuartos de lavados son un asco, yo no sé con todo el dinero, que le sacan a esta pudrición, no ponen lavadoras nuevas, ó, por lo menos poner un cartel para que las personas no pierdan su dinero. This in the previous administration of Martha, would not have happened to me. The laundry rooms are disgusting, I don't know with all the money they take from these apartments, how they haven't deigned to put new washing machines, or at least put up a sign so that people don't lose their money because none of them work, but good if they are not able to clean the air ducts where .there is so much black mold, which can be expected, that is why I decided to call the City, so that they take action on the matter ?? ? ?? ? Located in the heart of Houston Chinatown. I just moved in and am pleased with the leasing office. June Du is great. She helped me throughout the entire leasing process. The Property Manager Marta ensured that my apartment was move in ready to my satisfactory. Thank you very much.

New staff is friendly and helpful. I like how the manager works with tenants. Maintenance is good and they do check to see if maintenance was done. Pools and grounds are clean. Nice landscaping. Overall I recommend.

I've lived here for two years. Definitely one of the better apartments I've lived in. Great location in Chinatown, right across from the ever popular Dun Huang Plaza, close to two highways, and a great price. Memos are sent periodically to inform of any policy changes they make in an attempt to better the complex and the property manager is always open to discussing them if you have any questions or concerns. Parking is first come first serve which can upset some and visitors are required to park outside the complex after midnight if you don't request a visitor's parking pass from the office, which helps to keep the limited parking a least a little less congested. No parking permit or visitor's pass and you WILL be towed. This is becoming standard practice in heavily populated areas in Houston due to limited parking. Communicate with the office and you'll have no issues. Property manager is very personable and has been very helpful and understanding when I was in a tough financial spot. There are cons, just like every apartment complex. Especially old ones. The second story floors shift in some spots while walking, which can be uncomfortable, and don't really isolate the noise but I've lived in much worse. I can sometimes hear my cats jumping around upstairs in my townhouse unit because of the floor shifting. I used to have some noisy next door neighbors who refused to follow the noise ordinance and turn down their music. The property manager walked out in person to speak to them on VARIOUS occasions all the way up to them being required to move elsewhere. Can't blame the complex for rude, noisy neighbors but I appreciate the manager's efforts. NO roaches. NO bed bugs. I have heard reports of rats but not seen them myself. Quick response from maintenance staff plus a follow up call from the office to make sure repairs were completed. I've heard complaints about traffic but you're gonna have traffic in a high-traffic area. We're legit right by the beltway and across the street from an elementary school, plan accordingly. Then again we are in the 4th largest city in the US so traffic will be heavy anywhere. You should always plan extra time for it. Caution: During flash floods Corporate Dr. is likely to flood but the apartments themselves will be fine. Perfectly safe during Harvey even though Corporate was completely underwater. Gated community with access pass and intercom system that rings to your phone when a friend needs to be let in to visit. No entrance code that can be shared with everyone, rendering the security of it useless. You have to buzz everyone in individually and the exit gate also has a code, which makes me feel very safe. If you don't know the codes, you don't belong =) My lease is ending soon and I'm definitely looking forward to signing on for year 3.

It is a more than perfect place to me. I used to living in the lodge apartment, which locates in the same street but was a hell for me. The apartment is newly upgraded. People are nice and patient here. What I could say is, this is the best apartment complex in Chinatown area. If you want to get close to those good restaurants and malls, this apartment will be a good choice. Highly recommended!

IHAVE LIVED HERE SINCE 1998.SINCE IT HAS BECOME BELLAIRE SILK. THINGS HAVE CHANGED!! SECURED GATES PARKING PERMIT STAFF HELPFUL&APPROACHABLE THIS IS MY HOME. YOU FOLLOW THE RULES THEN NO PROBLEM THEREBARE RULES EVERY WHERE YOU GO ITS UP TO U TO TO MAKE YOUR EXPERIENCE HERE A HAPPY ONE

I have read the ratings of Bellaire Silk and I too had my car towed. Had I followed the rules of what they requested this would not have happened. I like being here at Bellaire Silk. You actually are close to everything. Restaurants, grocery stores, 59 and the Beltway. This is a good central location for me. My apartment had everything new when I moved in and for the price I can't beat it. The people at the office have always been helpful (even when I get mad over my car). They try to help. I can't think of any where else I would want to be.
