Since they changed owners, I feel unsatisfied with the way the apartments are run. There is more trash everywhere, even though the owners have said they want to focus on "beautifying" the community. Maintenance was better under the previous management. Communication between residents and the management were better under previous management as well.

There was a robbery and break in that happened yesterday and i assure you it was because of these open gates. Leasing staff is not saying anything and is trying to keep this under wraps. Im scared and Im leaving once my lease is up im gone. Unbelievable.

The new management is so, so, SO bad. Please stay away. I have months to go on my lease, but I'll be out of here as soon as I'm able, because after two months of transition, things are getting worse, not better. Where to start? The rent is screwed up every month, and they STILL haven't figured out how to bill utilities. That seems pretty basic?like, if you can't even bill residents properly, WTF are you doing? The gate is left open all day and night, despite CONSTANT complaints from residents. They claim it's broken and they're contacting the gate company. I'm not holding my breath, because they seem content to let anybody and everybody in, no matter how unsafe it makes residents feel. They dyed the ponds blue?WTF were they thinking? As another reviewer noted, it looks like Gatorade. Those ponds used to be one of my favorite things about this complex. There's a stray dog on the loose, poop everywhere, and spiderwebs are building up everywhere due to lack of care. The leasing office does not receive phone calls, and they're barely responsive unless you physically go to the office. To top it all off, the office staff (especially the one who sits at the desk up front) are RUDE, unprofessional, and clueless about any questions or problems you bring them. They have no answers?only excuses. It's been over two months, people. Get your ---- together! And start listening to your residents and responding to their concerns (NOT with another mass email shifting blame and making excuses), or you're going to lose people in droves. You're running a previously very well-managed property into the ground. I know you're reading these, since you plucked and favorited the one semi-positive review. To anybody thinking about moving here, you might want to read through all these recent reviews and rethink it. Number one, the price you'll pay is more than any of us residents from the previous management paid, and we got a lot more service for our money then. The apartments themselves are decent, but they are not worth the price you'll pay, especially with the headaches you'll face under this incompetent management. You can do better elsewhere.

This new management is TERRIBLE. Save your breath when speaking to ------------------- its like talking to a wall. They are so rude and unprofessional. All they care about is money and sit on their --- doing nothing to better this community. I wanted to renew but was only offered 6 and 14 months because they have too many move outs for the other lease terms… how is that my fault? These woman cannot do their jobs properly and need to be replaced. Theres dog ---- everywhere, gates are open for dangerous people to come in, and prices are going up while service is going down. Haven residential please do better.

Great until recently when the complex came under new management. It's expected that they would need a grace period to adjust to the community, so that is my hope for other residents. Personally, I am only renewing my lease for 6 months as the skyrocketing rental rates doesn't mitigate the presently subpar customer- service skills of leasing office staff.

I start living in the community with previous administration. Since the new administration start, the jacuzzi is not working, the pool was close for three week and the entrance gate is always open. We email the administration concern, but the gate still opens during the week day and the jacuzzi still a public hazard.

I loved this apartment complex until it became Helix. Now everything is a mess. My rent is double charged each month, the pool was closed for weeks, the pond is dyed blue, there are no chairs by the pool, there are stray dogs wandering around, maintenance requests take days to be fixed, and I could go on. I'm very unhappy and I wouldn't have filled out this survey except that I've gotten 5+ emails about it.

It was great until new management took over and caused it to decline in quality. Since they took over the gate has been broken, the ponds have been dyed this bright ugly blue killing off all of the lizards, poop bags have not been put out appropriately causing more poop to accumulate on the ground, my rent has been messed up twice now and they can not manage simple office tasks to fix it, their phone has been down and calls have gone to corporate, I have had to take time out of my day to go down to the office to deal with issues, maintenance requests have been closed out early without full repair, the pool closed for a full month due to the emergency phone being 'broken' but after it reopened the emergency phone was still broken and they let the pool and hot tub get a very dark green color which was nasty and I had never seen it like that after a whole year of living here. Additionally, the most important concern is the safety of the neighborhood. Prior to helix when it was Lincoln it was a safe quiet neighborhood full of medical personnel. Now I have seen a decline in the type of residents where I have smelled marijuana daily, loud noises from cars out in the front of the community where I live nightly, loud arguing in the middle of the night with neighbors beating up on their spouses cars. I have even seen a naked man on a balcony beside where I live as well as my neighbors owning 5 pets in their apartment which are loud consistently. I work from home now and this neighborhood which was amazing before new management makes me want to move which is sad as I bragged about this community in the past. Now i fear it is on the decline and I start to feel unsafe at night when walking my dogs when before that was never an issue.

Things have gone way downhill under new management with Helix/Haven Residential, do not be fooled. I understand management switched over very abruptly, but after 2 months things have not gotten better. Here are just a few issues: -The gate is open all day to "let prospective renters tour the property." It's obvious residents don't like this!! Over July 4 weekend, gates were open all day & night for days. Right now the gate's not working and instead of fixing it ASAP, they are just leaving it open again 24 hrs over the weekend. Staff couldn't tell me when it'll be fixed. Not even the most basic safety measure taken. But Tiffany & Vianney care more about filling units than concerns of the people already living here. -The maintenance guys from Lincoln were going to stay with Helix but they left, which is sad because they were great. There's only one guy right now and new maintenance is extremely slow, I still have an open work order from over a week ago. -Instead of treating the fountain water, they dyed it blue and now it looks like dirty gatorade water -Not only is communication extremely lacking (not likely to get an update unless you follow up multiple times or visit the office), management is borderline dishonest or don't know what's going on. On multiple occasions via mass email and speaking in person, they have stated things which turned out later to not be the case. And they still haven't figured out how to bill our utilities to us. If you have an issue all you will get back is frustration. Looks like they will raise rent too, so no longer a good value considering the bad management/slow maintenance. Do not recommend.

This apartment charges luxury prices for old apartments with CHEAP paint and flooring. On our move in day, the apartment was not made ready. There were no drip pans in the stove, the light on the stove didn't work, the dryer didn't work, they told us they were going to put new carpet and they never did. Little things like visually dirty blind pulls, wall paint chips, and certain outlets that didn't work. The gloss over the wood chipped very easily and there were matte spots of chipped gloss everywhere. Also inside the gloss were hair and flecks of white paint, which made the floor look dirty but that stuff was actually under the gloss. Light fixtures and crown molding were crooked... just looks cheap. Not worth it. The hot tub never worked either. Also our bath tub was painted metal. Soon after the moved in, the paint started peeling in the tub. After putting a maintenance request to fix it and have it re-painted, it soon started peeling again. The apartments need to do something else with the tubs cause what they have now is not working. Also, water pressure was usually low. This place needs a lot of work.
