my name is ashley i just moved in these apt and the bell boy mr samuel sanders has been sexually harrasing me. he felt on my breast in front of one of his employees.these apts is not was up.

if you value your health, do not move to candlewick or as i call it candledump. it is horrible. the sewerage system does not work unless you call flooding your bathroom and kitchen every week end working. the roaches attack you, rats the size of cats live there, the mold in the apts is horrible. run and get out as soon as you can

well my daughter goes to school by the apts and those apts look so bad OMG!!One day i had parked my car by the fire hydrant, I come outside to my car and this white trailer trash lookin lady comes to my car and says she is going to call the police of course, i got mad and said who the ---- are you? she says you are parked by my fire hydrant i said ----- dont ---- over here belong to you it is the property of the city of houston. I swear i think she was suppose to be the owner of the property IDK but I had to drive off, ----------------------------------------------!!!! i told this ----- ------------------------------------- ---------------------------- i hope she gets a chance to read this.

Please what ever you do not rent hear.They dont do anything but lie to you to get you in. The prices are out of control. I moved in to a three bedroom apartment. I was told that they would change the tile and fix all the holes and damages that was in this apartment. When I came to sighn my lease I was told that everything was done. The owner told me that he walked the apartment him self and that it looked realy good. When i got to the apartment it was the most discusting thing I had ever ssen. What kind of person would rent this apartment like this to any body!!!! Holes and nasty tile, mole on the ceiling and dead rodients in the closets.And you know the worst part of it he want even come and look to see what the damages are. Nasty nasty nasty. He said he not going to fix anything and that he dont fix anything. these apartments should be shut down completely with no quiestions asked. Were is the city when you realy need them? why is this man allowed to do the things that he is doing?So dont rent here no matter what!!!!!!!!Please!!!!!!

I answered an add for a trainee in office.After a long well rehearsed and boring speech about how he (the owner) went from rags to riches I was told I could tryout for the position for 2 days.Get this for no pay.I decided to come back the next day.The next morning I was there for training.This was really a mistake.He insulted the staff throughout the day by calling one lady stupid.I went to see the apts,I was disgusted that he would call apts ready for movein and the carpets stank of pet fecies,the fridges were full of rust,the tubs had mold and roaches everywhere even in the office.The guy even commented that he doesnt rent to --- _ _ _ _.Throughout the day he sat there making sexist and racist comments.He went as far as telling one young girl he was looking for a sex- slave.That there made me sick. I needed the apts so I toughed it out,but i knew i couldnt take this for long.I moved into an apts that was one of the worst but I was in need of a place.After 2 months i found a real job and moved.I couldnt have company without feeling I was being watched by this weirdo.

I moved in by myself single girl out of state for college. Well first the allow felons to work and one of them semi stocked me and broke into my house after I repeatly turned him down. I was able to move because I had proof that the guy was over stepping and all my stuuf was missing and some one used a key. The guy supposly quit the day before my apartment was cleaned out... what do you know. I have never been the same since I always think what if I had been home my god.

you enjoy 24 hour a day traffic, noise, drug deals, shootings, murders and prostitutes as well as a bunch of transsexual prostitutes. Only rent here if you like a landlord who does NOTHING for you, a maintenance staff that doesn't know anything, overflowing trash cans, and an office staff that is rude and buying and selling drugs. I made the mistake of renting here and even though I always paid my rent at least a week early, the slumlord decided he wanted my apartment for one of his new staff people and served me a 3 day notice, refused to refund the balance of the month, and then had the nerve to tell me I owed him $300. I told him to shove it and moved out the next day. My apartment had no heat, and the total incompetents on the maintenance staff could never fix it. The bathroom ceiling had cracks in it, and when I complained, theoffice staff told me I could always hire a contractor to fix it. A woman was murdered in the complex in March of 2008, and there is 24 hour a day prostitution and drug dealing as well as several convicted sex offenders (admitted) who are living there, and the complex is within 300 feet of a school, yet these pedophiles live there openly and cruise the school. The staff admits they rent to undocumented aliens, and like them, since they never complain about the poor conditions. STAY CLEAR!

This place has gone downhill in a short time. They don't fix nothing, ever. There are roaches the size of a Zippo lighter, and just last night a woman was shot in the head and killed. Do not move here, for any reason. People are moving out of here left and right, including me. Don't do it. Slumlord, and the management staff are either selling dope, doing dope or both depending on the time of day. Although there are laundry rooms none of the machines ever work.

the apts are big for the price, but the neighborhood is awful. constant noise from trucks, nearby construction, car stereos up waaaay too loud at all hours of the night (even on school nites), guard dogs behind the complex who never shut up. Dishwasher broken for months, repair jobs inadequate, slumlord who is absentee unless he has someone to evict.Late fees are outrageous!! Glad to be leaving! This place really sux!!!

The previous comments are all correct. These apartments are horrible! I lived in Candlewick for a year, and the entire time that I lived there, my bathtub, of all things, would backup with sewage...they would actually come and "undo" the problem, but never fixed anything. That is the most disgusting place that I have ever seen. And as for the crackheads, they are EVERYWHERE!!! The dealers too! I would never in my life advise anyone to move here!!!
