Hello Harlow Team, I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with Harlow River Oaks. I have two daughters who live here, one of whom has been a resident for seven years, and the other is going on two years. Additionally, my god-daughter moved here about a year ago, and all three of them are extremely happy with the way the apartment complex is managed, as well as with the maintenance services. As a renter, I am very pleased with how accessible the management team is. Whenever there has been a concern with my daughters' apartments, I can always reach out to management, and they work diligently to address any issues. I found water damage in my unit and notified Harlow about it. They gave 0 response, didn't even bother to look at it. Almost a week later, water was leaking through my ceiling. Management informed me that they would fix it but refused to give me a timeline. It's been over a month now and my apartment has mold and bugs. Anytime I bring this up, I am ignored. Everyone thinking about living here should know that Harlow does not care about their residents.

I want to be honest and helpful to any and everyone who is potentially looking to move here. Don’t do it! They do a terrible job at keeping the hallways clean, there is trash everywhere and it smells bad. They never hold residents accountable for their valet trash, people will leave trash outside their door on the weekend knowing valet trash won’t come until Sunday which is disrespectful. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything. The elevators hardly ever work which is frustrating. The staff is friendly but they never get anything done even with the new management. I’ve had to call the police a couple of times because of the noise level during quiet hours. I plan on moving as soon as my lease is up, this has been the worst experience for me. Please look into another complex for the amount of money you’ll be paying here. This complex is NOT worth it. I hope this helps someone.

Me and my boyfriend applied for an apartment on Saturday 10/17/2020 was told we had to make 3 times the rent and bank statements was fine to use. This was all fine! 10/19/2020 I called to check on my application and Adrianna told me we were APPROVED! Great news, right? Until Tuesday 10/20/2020 I get a call from her saying that we don't make the income qualifications..... This honestly through me off considering you told me I was approved ! I asked what was going on. She explained saying we have to make TEN TIMES the rent using our bank statements! EXCUSE ME ???!!! I'm like okay? Mind you me alone, I make averaging on bank statements almost $6,000 a month! Then to add my bf we make plenty on bank statements! So I told her that and she said they go off of the end amount we have left on the statement. So, your telling me we have to have $13,000 sitting in our bank NOT SPENT at the end of the month to show you we can afford rent that is $1,070 a month? Who has $13,000 sitting in there account every month ? So, I tried to keep my cool and asked if there was another way to show I can make rent. She told me and the assistant manager MARK to send in my tax from. I LEFT WORK to go find these documents THEY ASKED ME FOR! I get back to work to send over and they told me oh we can't use those because we only accept those documents (tax forms) the first 3 months of the year because your pay can change. EXCUSE ME?!?!?! YOU LITERALLY TOLD ME I COULD USE THEM???? We would have NEVER applied, wasted $150 on application, get our credit pulled, ect. if we knew we have to make 10x rent on bank statements at the ending cost not what is deposited. It does not say that in qualifications nor does it say they only accept taxes forms 3 months out the year! I feel scammed on this whole process and been bending backwards to try to live here! I honestly really loved to complex, great location, everything seemed perfect! Until this all unfolded. I feel like they should of made their qualifications clear to us before we applied. If I would of known i needed $13,000 sitting in my account at the end of my statements I would have never wasted my time! It is unrealistic to have that amount. Then to ask me for tax forms knowing they were not even going to accept them? A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! If they don't want to lease to you they will find EVERY excuse to deny you!

I knew the second I walked in that I wanted to live within the property, but it has truly exceeded any expectation I had upon first entrance. The premises are immaculate, the tenants are respectful, and the staff is amazing. I recommend it to any and all friends of mine who inquire about Houston living, and now I recommend it to you too!

Just moved in a couple of weeks ago but by far the most amazing place I've ever lived, the customer service the staff provide is by far the most amazing ever, the neighborhood is what makes it perfect....everything is just a couple steps away....worth every dollar we spend on rent

Great community, Front desk personal and service team are great, love it here. The complex also offer a cool private courtyard with swimming pool, grill and more; outside it has not one but two dog parks for those with canine companions.

When I first moved in last year, it appeared that all was okay. SOLA was sold and now its Harlow River Oaks and its absolutely HORRIBLE!!! TRASH is a problem. The corridor (hallways) have carpet. NO ONE IS cleaning the carpet. There are black stains and spots throughout and trash stays for weeks and weeks (thats how I know no one is vacuuming, cleaning, or shampooing the carpet). The garage is just as TRASHY!!!! Absolutely TERRIBLE! ***I like the layout of the apartment***...THAT IS IT!!!

I was asked to review Harlow RO after a maintenance call to fix a light switch, which went pretty smooth and promptly as always. Only suggestion would be to give maintenance team masks and gloves to wear given the ongoing pandemic Very satisfied living at HRO. Great location and professional staff.
