Amazing! They are extremely kind, quick, and attentive to any issues that persist in the community. They're always updating the community to make it as gorgeous as it can be. The community team is also very hard working and understanding, even with silly questions.

Management egregiously mishandles issues. At one point there was sewage flooding the garage for over a week. Another time a contractor flooded my unit while I was away and I didn't find out until I returned to my home with the carpet ripped up and all my furniture pulled into the kitchen.

MAA Greater Heights is a great community and I don't regret locating here in 2022. The community is a prime location, the amenities were high-quality, the staff was courteous and responsive, the building was well-cleaned. Unfortunately, the quality has dipped within the last year: inoperable elevators that make my unit less accessible for visitors/family members with disabilities, less frequent cleaning of the hallways, water leak in garage that smelled like sewage and was left to stink for several days with no effort made to disinfect or eliminate the smell, and roaches around the perimeter of the trash chutes. The most frequent conversation I have with neighbors in the elevator is how the community has lost its luxury apartment vibe, the issues with the elevators, and their plans to move out.

I really like the location of this property. Being right near the trail and restaurants is a huge perk. The maintenance staff has been very responsive for the most part. There are some issues with security at times. The property could be kept up better in some ways. Stairwells are not kept very clean and I think the dog waste trash should be emptied more frequently.

I have lived at MAA Greater Heights for two years, and this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had as a tenant. Last week, management informed me that they would be opening the walls in my unit to improve the already subpar Wi-Fi, and I was required to vacate my apartment for four days. When I returned, I discovered that my apartment had been flooded. Instead of securing my belongings or notifying me, management entered my unit, moved my furniture by throwing it into another room (including several valuable antiques), removed my clothing from the closet and piled it onto the couch, pulled up the carpet, and ultimately ruined nearly everything I own. This occurred four days ago, and at no point did management attempt to contact me. When I asked what happened, I was told they had “accidentally set off the sprinkler system a few times” and was instructed to “call your insurance company,” with management stating that this was not their problem. When I asked why I was never notified, I was told that other affected residents were contacted and placed in hotels—but that they “forgot” to call me. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic concern for tenants is unacceptable. Management has shown no regard for my personal property or well-being. I am now seeking legal advice as a result of this incident.

This is a great community albeit there has been a decline in cleanliness which I put on the resident as much as the Apartment. The current residents are less respectful of others each year. Just not as friendly as they used to be.

I have lived in this apartment complex since 2022 (previously known as Yale at 6th), and it is my personal opinion that since MAA has acquired the property I haven't been as satisfied with the maintenance and upkeep of the property.

I moved in the community in August of 2023. The management team was friendly and courteous, the property was clean, maintained, and most always, the amenities were working. Since the management has changed, the property has been in a constant state of disrepair. Maid staffs don't vacuum hallways anymore, the entire property smells like raw sewage, the elevators are constantly out of order, theft of bikes, cars, mail in the locked mailboxes and packages have occurred. The management even promised to start sending packages back to sender if the delivery drivers don't correctly deliver packages instead of alerting residents of their package being in the management office for in person pick up. In summary, this property used to be a great place to live, but I will be leaving at the end of my current lease term.

I lived here for 1.5 years and broke my lease because I no longer felt safe. This community got run down fast. A lot of their and I felt unsafe in the parking garage. Also, the elevators were constantly down. It would take weeks to get repaired and I lived on the 4th floor.

Love the location. But, this community does not do well maintaining the property. The stair wells have trash and cobwebs that haven't there for years, the dog waste trash cans are always overflowing and poop bags are pouring out onto the ground. This property has 4 elevators, at least one elevator is out of service on a monthly basis. There have been multiple times multiple elevators are out of service at the same time. This has been an issue the entire 3 years I have lived here, and it tends to be a major inconvenience (you'll understand if you tour the property). The property does not enforce riles so people keep breaking them - people keep putting furniture and large items where they are told not to, people keep leaving trash and boxes out in the hallway outside of trash pick-up hours, people keep parking where they aren't supposed to, etc. (and they just keep sending "reminder"emails but never enforce the consequences outlined in the lease agreement and reminder emails). The community has poor security and security precautions. In the past year multiple bikes have been stolen from the bike storage on 3 different occasions, cars have been broken into on multiple occasions, and mailboxes have been broken into on multiple occasions. The community still uses gate remotes and annoying key fob for access to the building, which is antiquated and annoying, but they paid money to have a useless "smart home" digital panel installed - so you can stand I front of your thermostat and control 1-2 lights in the apartment and lock/unlock your door. But it would be significantly faster just to lock the door and turn the lights on of off manually - it's literally useless. On the flip side, the maintenance team here is wonderful, seriously. They are very helpful and prompt.
