I can't even give this place one star. It sucks so bad. When we first moved in 7 months ago, it was so great. Everything was nice. We met with Yeni in the office and LOVED her! She has such great people skills and immediately formed a bond and remembered details about us. A few months later, we find out she doesn't work here anymore. The new office staff is horrible. I've put in so many requests to fix different areas of our apartment that are needing repairs, and they never come out. They're quick to do everything it takes to collect their money, but they're not quick when you need them to help. In the 7 months we've lived here, the hot water has been out for a whole day about 3 times already. There always seems to be "a leak" and "Centerpoint is working on it right now." No matter what time of day you call, the hot water is being worked on. Right... To reserve a parking spot, it costs $20 per spot a month. We have 2 spots and it was supposed to be added to our rent. Turns out, they haven't been adding it and came by to request payment for the last 3 months PLUS late fees. So unorganized, no one is ever at fault for anything, and the roach problem is disgusting. I know all apartments have roaches, but this is just disgusting. I've requested an exterminator to come out 4 times. He's only been here once, yet they charge me every month for pest control. Not to mention peeling paint everywhere, cracked ceilings, mold, and a HORRIBLE smell coming from our bathroom that 2 different people have come to inspect and nothing's been fixed. Not to mention that they've changed the way we need to pay rent every few months, making it next to impossible to get a system going with your bank account. I would love to end my lease at this horrible horrible place and never come back.

These apartments are horrible for kids, adults, dogs, cats, people. The office staff allows mantience to enter your home while away and are extremely slow are fixing anything. You are charged as a residence to park your car inside the apartment complexs and your guests are subjected to being harassed by the local towing company if they park within the gate. They have to park outside the gate of the apartment. Looters roam the apartments day and night! I give this place -0.(negative zero)The local

Overall horrible! There is always problems with the hot water working. The management is bad the office manager is rude. They will tack all kinda of fees on you to try and get you out especially ------. You have to buy a parking space if not you will have to probably have no place to park. There is always something going on drug activity. They gave it a new name to el sol brilliante to hide how bad they are. Name changes are always a bad sign. My lease is almost up and can't wait to move

Been living here for 7 months and it's a total nightmare! Poor management & they lie all the time. The apartments are warped and just not safe. At 3am today my fianc & I heard 4 or 5 rounds of guns going off, and it's just horrible our car got broken into and the office didn't help with anything at all! The gates are never closed & there is gang affiliation & drug trafficking running all through these apartments. I wanna break our lease so bad!!!! It's sad that I'm up at night holding my fianc due to her being frightened by the activity that goes on. It's very dangerous and just horrid. Please run while you can. I'm ashamed to even be living here. God please make a miracle happen

when I did my application I put that I wanted to move in on the 29th; I got approved. gave them my deposit on the 12th. come the 29th "oh your apt doesn't have a toilet so we cannot move you until the 30th." come the 30th "oh the resurfacing needs to be done in your apt." I had to be out of my old apt the 31st. I forced them to give me my keys since I had no where else to go. I move my stuff out & into el sol brilliante & THERE IS ---- EVERYWHERE. fridge or stove isn't hooked up, bathroom tub is dirty & not clean sinks are covered & dirty due to the resurfacing. the office was closed for New Years so needless to say I could not take a shower or brush my teeth in my home for 2 days. I go down to the apt leasing center today & all they can do for me is give me my proration back but nothing off of the following months rent because I got a special! THIS PLACE IS ALL ABT MONEY NOTHING ELSE. NEVER MOVE HERE.

This is the worst place ever for anybody to live in, that is unless you are ready to leave with matured and huge roaches. The staff there is horrible when it comes to customer service. Management is below poor and very, very bad record keeping cos u give money to one person, they give you the receipt alright but then the next person comes and ask you for the same thing you paid for. Like its being run individually. They can just stop the flow of water, without any notice, and not to talk about the bills they send you at the end of the month. They are criminal minded in dealings with their tenants. If I start talking about their outmoded utensils and carpets, I don't think I can finish today. The long and short of it all is that I won't even recommend this apartment for my worst enemy, let alone innocent people out there. Beware and stay away from this apartment, IT IS DANGEROUS!

These apartments are horrible. There is NEVER any hot water, they overcharge you on the water bill, and the staff is EXTREMELY rude. Maintenance responds very quickly, but they have to go MULTIPLE times because they don't fix things correctly. My AC stopped worked the SECOND day I moved in, and they just fixed 2 WEEKS ago (I moved in in March, and today is September.), and after complaining MULTIPLE times about my oven overheating, someone from maintenance came to "fix" it. THAT SAME NIGHT, MY OVEN EXPLODED IN SMOKE!!! When i called the next day to report it, the staff had the nerve to tell me they STILL COULD NOT REPLACE IT. They claimed that as long as it can be fixed, they could not give me a new one. What kind of bull is that?? I'm a couple more incidents away from SUING these people. And to make matters worse, I asked for corporate's phone number, and they gave me A DISCONNECTED NUMBER. DO NOT MOVE HERE, RUN AWAY WHILE YOU STILL CAN!! I'm considering breaking my lease because I don't think I can live here another second!!

I've been here a year and a half the first six months were great until the management problems came. Four different management companies within this time frame and its been downhill hill since. Gnats everywhere, no hot water on weekends and at least 1-2 days out of the week,neighbors fight and argue VERY VERY LOUD everyday everyone has complained but nothing has happened, gates never work, very few utility options for complex cable, phone, lights..etc, hallway walls are very thin you can actually hear people footsteps.

I been year water is on in off here the office staff always have something to tell you but the true I think these apt need to be better management here

This property is beyond imaginable, WORST I've ever seen. My apartment was broken into numerous times and the management staff is EXTREMELY slow to respond. They have a care-less attitude about tenant's safety. Their response is "OH REALLY, okay so this is what we can do. YOU CAN PAY US THE PORTION YOU OWE US ON YOUR LEASE AGREEMENT AND WE WILL LET YOU BREAK THE LEASE AND MOVE OUT." Are you kidding me????? They are only interested in filling vacant apartment homes to put money into their pockets! Office staff is incompetent when responding to emails and keeping files together. VERY poor communication within the staff to keep everything in order. I was not given my mailbox key until a whole month after my move-in date because the girl from the front office could not get the correct key from the right envelope to make the right copy! INCOMPETENCE! Something as simple as a porch light that needs to be replaced takes at least 2 weeks to do be done after notifying office staff and maintenance several times. Trash receptacles are always filthy and overflowing. Ants and roaches are infested inside the apartment homes, crawling all over the floors. Hot water occasionally gets shut off for no reason. The front gate NEVER EVER locks. It is all for show. Don't be fooled at the ongoing renovations on the property. This apartment home will never be safe to move into. And the office management staff will never care about your safety. RUN FAR AWAY! Absolute worst apartment home I've ever leased.
