I feel that your on your own in this apt. with nothing positive from the office. They listen with a deaf ear. They never followed what they said they would do. The manager promised to get more security and to put more lighting outside. I have been here for 9.5 months and have yet to see either. I feel this Apt. is not worth the money they are charging for lack of any service.

IM A RESIDENT IN GREENHOUSE PATIO AND HAVE BEEN LIVING THERE FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS AND FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS THE LIGHTS HAVE BEEN OUT IN MY BUILDING MYSELF ALONG WITH THE OTHER TENANTS IN THE BUILDING HAVE REPORTED THIS AND THEY HAVE FAILED TO REPLACE THE LIGHTS. ON FRIDAY MARCH 21, 2008 AT 5:10 A.M. ON MY WAY TO WORK I TRIPPED AND BUSTED MY HEAD OPEN IN THE DARK WHICH CAUSED A TRIP TO THE EMERGENCY WHERE A CATSCAN WAS NEEDED, BECAUSE OF THIS ACCIDENT MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE HAD TO MISS WORK BECAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO MANAGEMENT ALONG WITH PICTURES AND STATEMENTS STATING THIS ACCIDENT WAS CAUSED BECAUSE OF THE LIGHT OUTAGE THAT HAD NOT BEEN FIXED TILL I SHOWED UP WITH WITH THE STUFF FROM THE HOSPITAL AND GUESS WHAT AN HOUR LATER IT WAS FIXED AND THAT WAS A LITTLE TOO LATE. THE MANAGEMENT IN THE APARTMENT COMPLEX DONT CARE ABOUT NOTHING BUT THEMSELVES. I WILL FOR SURE BE GETTING OUT AS SOON AS I CAN.

I put in my 60 days notice, however they claimed they never received it, but they got the money for my last month's rent. Because of my name they thought i was of -------- origin but when they saw the color of my skin they're whole customer service "etiquette" flew out the window. They were extremely rude and useless!

Hello, My question is about the apartment that my daughter lives in. On 03/12/08 while she was at work, her apartment was broken into thru her bedroom window. She filed a police report and contacted the office staff to report the incident and to request that her broken window be replaced. The apartment maintenance showed up two hours later and took measurements. He left and returned with a large board to nail over the window. I was told that he would have to order the window. I took off from work today because I do not want to risk leaving with just a board over my window. My daughter called the office on 3 occasions today to speak with the manager and was told that she was busy. I called and asked for her as well and after numerous questions, I was put on hold and then told that she was busy. I spoke with the office staff named Bonnie. I explained the seriousness of replacing the window and was assured that it would be replaced today. It is now 3:15pm on 03/13/08 and getting ready to storm and the window still have not been replaced. Is this legal? I would think that her safety is an issue. The complex has security but they are never there. They check in for duty and then leave the complex. When the police officer showed up to take my burglary report, he had to leave his squad car at the front gate and walk to my apartment because there is no way for them to enter. I was told that an officer was dispatched to my apartment earlier but could not gain entry so he left. This is horrible. What should my daughter do in a situation like this? Who should she contact? Your help is desperately needed as she has 3 small children and I fear for their safety. She contemplated moving but was told she could not break her lease even if her safety was compromised. Thank you in advance, Have a great day, Sherry Lindley

I live here now and the rent is low and at first i was happy to get the place. Then after moving here I heard gun shots throughout the night. Two people were murdered in the parking lot near the exit (where most people hang out and sell drugs). Lately, we got a new manager and she is promising to change things for the better. For the first couple of weeks the gates remained closed; however, now it is a different thing. Gates remain open for all to enter and exit. Not long ago I woke up to find someone trying to climb over my balcony. I am getting near the end of my lease and hope that i can leave with out getting robbed or my apartment broken into. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. DON'T MOVE HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, YOUR THINGS AND YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

My husband & I stayed at the Greenhouse Patio Apartments in Houston for 5 years with our two children,(a 3 year old and an infant). We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was wonderful! At night, we used the roll out sofa in the living room for our toddler. The room was updated and had decent furnishings, some of it modern and some not. It has a kitchen and a seperate bedroom. We have stayed in a regular hotelsized cubile Id call it in NYC before and it was so small and we had no way to properly clean our children's sippy cups and bottles. Our kitchen here came equipped with a dishwasher, which was wonderful.

OK, the downside is that there is very little service from the staff. No one helped with our bags when we arrived or when we departed. Sometimes we would call downstairs with a question, and no one would be at the desk to answer the call. The internet was down 2 out of the 5 days. I called ahead to see if we could arrange using the baby crib from them and they informed me it was $200/day. We thought that was too much so we brought our own.

This being said, we would definitely stay here again because the rooms are so large and the location is excellent. You are next to the Boobie Convience Store and across the street from The Blood Cheese Factory Representing West Airport. It is perfect for a family. You just need to go into it not expecting a lot of under the teller service. It is not that kind of establishment. It is basically an apartment in a great location at an affordable price.
