They take forever to fix something and anything wrong they blame on us! And most of washer/dryer in laundry facility are not working.. always having hard time to find working one and only few availble compare to the size of apt. If you want your thing to be fix right away move to other place.

The staff and their manager are cheats. Be careful when you enter any into any agreement with them. I will not recommend it.

It is always clear to any educated individual when someone is simply upset and is finding vindication through tactics such as continuously posting negative (and embelished)comments on this site. Whomever you are, I am sick of reading from you, stop it. Get over it. Who made you the authority on what the "Galleria" claims and doesn't claim? That is such a load of malarky. This complex is zoned, by the city of Houston, into what is known as the "Tanglewood, Galleria, 'Right out-side of the loop'" area. AND when searching on-line, this complex will pop up for such searches. The complex is old and imperfect I will agree, but it is not the ------ and as a resident I am offended you say such. I agree with the person who said its a great deal for the area. I have enjoyed living here for 4 years. AND lastly, yes, there are other complexes in the area that CLAIM to be much better, but they have their own issues and complaints on this same site!! Take a look darlin'.

This place was bad. I picked it because I had to hurry and find a place in a week. If I had known about this website I never would have moved in. They seemed good, and the apartment seemed decent. I didn't bother to open the washing machine though, and found out that not only was it not draining, but was full of moldy water. They "fixed" it, but the drum itself was rusting, which stains clothes. It took me a couple of weeks with promises made every couple of days that it would be fixed and repeated visits from the repairman saying it was fine. When they finally replaced it, they disconnected the dryer exhaust. That took a couple more days to get fixed. By the time I could finally do laundry I had been living there for nearly a month, and they offered no form of renumeration or even apology. They mow when the grass is mid-calf high. The lawns are full of dog poop. The gates haven't worked for months, and one time I left for work and the truck next to me was on blocks. The pool next to my place hasn't been clean the entire time I've lived here. When I had to leave for 6 weeks they made it difficult to pay my bills on time. At one point I asked if they could call me when they knew the utility amount. They called me the next day to tell me that they couldn't call me. Half the time I went to the gym they were either out of towels, water, or something to put the water in (like a paper cup or a water bottle). When my ceiling fan wouldn't reverse they "fixed" it by putting it to forward, it still doesn't go in reverse. The toilet has been threatening to back up since I moved in. When they came to fix it they flushed it and saw that the water eventually went down and called it good. The carpet was stained on move in. When I told them to leave it and simply remember where it was stained they ignored me and recleaned it anyway but didn't leave a fan to dry the place out. The next day it smelled of mildew. The stain is still there. There is also a lot of hair from the previous tenent still in the carpet. In the coldest part of the winter the hot water was luke warm. Now that it is getting warmer, the cold water is luke warm. The hot water pipes run through my floor and heat up the place nicely in the winter, not so nicely as the weather heats up.

There are a lot of reviews on this site that are downing TC. Can't say the negative ones are all wrong. But I have been here since late 2007, so have seen a number of the management people come and go. The complex itself is obviously old, so has some issues. But for the price in this area, you should not be expecting brand spanking new in this part of town--cause if they demo'd the whole place and built brand new from the ground up, most here would probably not be able to afford. it. However, that does not mean they don't have any responsibility to the tennants. Most of the tennants here seem nice enough, but they are usually a big part of the problem. Clean up after yourselves, especially the doggie doo! But whatever the issues may be, the management usually tries to get 'er done fairly quickly. There have been some reasonable delays that, though inconvenient at the time, were reasonable when taken into consideration with what was going on in general. Actually can only say that of late--since Rebecca and Katy have been on it. Rebecca has done a lot to turn this place around. Some of the previous managers have been tools. Not sure this team even knows where Home Depot is...figuratively speaking. And Katy has been consistently awesome--playing Robin to Rebecca's BatMan....er...Batwoman. (Thankfully "Robin" is unisex...even though I would never name a dude "Robin". Anyway,...) Pretty much all of the staff is nice. But Katy is Always Always on it. You only have to ask her once...and it's done. That is very rare these days. Not sure how much longer I will stay, but Katy has made it way easier living here. Thanks Robin!! And you too Bat___!!
