The office manager allysa so sweet and kind, she literally will help you in anyway possible. And most of all she knows how to treat her tenants all the new lady’s that came after her have been so rude I’ve been living here 3 years . And I love it . But the new ppl try to handle you so badly. But overall the property is amazing.

Hey, no place is perfect so if you do end up renting for Holly view make sure you: 1. Don't expect to get a viewing of the real apartment. They will show you a fake one with completely different wall color, 2. Expect to have flee problems, they "fumigate" but i always had a problem of an infestation. 3. Once you get the paper to fill out what's wrong with the apartment. Write everything down ! Even if it looks small. I got deducted $35 from my deposit because of the already broken blinds but it was on me because I didn't report it. 4. Don't expected the pool to ever be open ! 5. Expect dog poop every where! 6. Don't expect hot water once a week for the rest of your contract. 7. Don't expect callbacks when requested, they are always in a meeting. 8. Expect the first gate to brake often. 9. Expect some water damage (it's Houston but Holly view isn't trying to at least fix some stuff) 10. Don't expect to be treated like a member of the community because your just a number once you sign the contract.

Very comfortable living place. I recommend Hollyview Apartments to anybody that wants a great place to stay. I moved because the distance between my job and home became far but I would absolutely move back if I found a job closer. Maintenance is excellent along with the ladies in the office that are willing to help with any issues or concerns you may have. The area around the apartment may be a little noisy but once you make a turn into Hollyview its very quiet. There is always security patrolling the area and making sure everyone is safe at all times.

Today marks the last official day at Hollyview and I can honestly say that I will miss it. I lived here for 4 years and I'm sad to leave this little gem of an apartment. The area isn't that great (Antoine Dr) but when you turn into Hollyview, the apartments are actually quite nice. Some very unique perks include: Trash pick-up directly at your doorstep on Mon-Fri, comcast basic cable FREE (you only pay for the monthly box fee) and the little fun events they host. The only reason that I decided to move is the lack of washer and dryer (or connections) in the apartment and my need for wanting to get away from the NW 290 area. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend Hollyview for the price and quality.

Roach/rat infested. My apartment was broken into numerous times during my stay here (4/2016-4/2017). They claim everyone has a gate key, but the gate remains open ALL THE TIME. They also claimed to have security, that was a joke. There are a few cameras around the property but they do no good. When my apartment was broken into twice, they wouldn't even pull up the camera to see if we could catch the guys in the act. They advertise this as a good area but it is not. Hollyview sits right off Antoine and runs parallel to De soto, so all the riff raff and activity from Antoine and De Soto bleeds right into Hollyview. The staff is not concerned with safety, only with payment. So if you own a gun and have renter's insurance come on to hollyview, atleast you can get partial reimburment when they steal your things.

Pros: you get a lot of space for the money. Lots of amenities available such as a gym, dog park, playground, club house, gazebo, picnic areas, security etc. Events during the holidays that tenants can participate in. Great location in terms of being able to get to major highways. Well maintained if the gates break they are fixed quickly. NO BUGS thank goodness. Cons: maintenance although supposedly 24hrs is not always available, for example if you have A/C problems, or broken light sockets it take days to be fixed. Also management isnt outright rude but they are not very friendly either. Also the office has a tendency to notify us last minute about changes. For example i went to get package around 3 and saw a notice that they had closed at 2, but office hours are 9a to 530p during spring. Also when they built carport didnt know they were being built and ended up towed and had to pay 220 dollars. location as I said earlier is great for getting to places but gunshots, shouting, police sirens can be heard regularly. Overall if your not a picky person and can deal with some minor inconvenienceso then this apartment would be a good fit for you

Leasing office/ management staff are the worst. they do not know what customer service means. I got a new car and I informed them that I had temporary tags until the dmv sent my plates. They gave me a parking sticker, I picked up my plates a month later and parked as I normally would since the leasing office was closed and I did already have a temporary parking sticker, only to find my car had been towed in the morning. I called to have the leasing office get my car released since they know i am a resident and what was going on with the vehicle and she told me to suck it up basically. The lady informed me that they were supposed to give me a different type of parking pass since the plates were temporary but they refused to be of any help. I told them I could pay out of pocket and they could reimburse me on my next rent payment and she refused that. She probably already got her cut out of towing my car and its no longer her problem. Maintenance never shows up nor do they ever respond to any service requests. there are roaches. they don't have any sort of system for packages, anyone can walk in and take something. I got a letter to vacate the next day one month because they "accidentally" credited my check/payment to another apartment. They are a mess, horrible, and of no help. I have come out of pocket to fix things that they failed to show up and look at. I now have to come out of pocket $200 because I parked at my apartment. I called management to see if they could help with my bad experience and the lady took her bff's (leasing office manager) side instead of even listening to me. She yelled at me and told me How dare I call management to make false accusations. She had the office forward all my calls to her to make sure i did not get her best friend in trouble and that i did not get helped. She yelled at me told me i was playing games by calling there. She called me a liar and hung up on me

They screw you in a lease. If you rent 6/mo at $680 2 days after your 60 day 'written' notice is up that is required if you move you get a notice saying that you can't do a 3/mo or 6/mo lease anymore you have to do 12/mo or a month to month for a $175 "fee" so rent is $865 for a stupid one bedroom. They won't tell you that you can't do another 6/mo lease till after it's too late! Crooks

I have lived here for almost a year and I will say that it's not all bad but the management team could do better. The less than 24 hours notice when building work or maintenance needs to be completed is not professional. I think they believe that putting Monday's date for Tuesday's work is 24 hours notice, but it's not really. With the new covered parking, I now have issues finding spaces with my work schedule. By the time I get home from work, I typically have to walk across the complex to get to my apartment. I will say that I have never felt unsafe, but I'm not naive and I do have a security system. I can count on one hand how many times I've seen a security guard. For the most part it's quiet at night so no complaints as far as noise. Maintenance has been taken care of quickly. One or two of the office staff is pleasant but not overall friendly. It is close to shopping and the neighbors are friendly. The grounds are mostly clean - I have not had any incidents with pet poop thankfully. I'm working towards buying a home so may be here for awhile longer. Like I said, my experiences have not been horrible but management does need to improve their communication skills. I hope they improve for the sake of tenants who pay to live here.

I absolutely love this place! I'm current moving because I am buying my first home and hate leaving this complex! I didn't want to move! Lol it's very quiet, friendly, great property upkeep, great management. I have been here two years and love it.
