I love this apartments because it's quiet and small and safe. The manager is really nice and maintenance has always been on time and helpful. Neighbors are polite, and it is a great milestone apt. that lets you grow . It's close to everything and bus route is surfer close. It takes me 10 mins to get to downtown...perfect.

This complex is a small quiet place with a very nice and accommodating property manager. Me and my mother both live at this property and the manager had my mother's carpet replaced and done in one day. When something breaks the maintenance man is on it in a timely manner. The neighbors are friendly and considerate. To sum it up Braeswood Plaza Apartments has the feel of a small town community with the best manager and maintenance I have seen.

I recently moved to this property. I'm thankful that it is with in my price range. The closets are spacious, the kitchen is nice and the most important, the property is quiet. The lady in the office is really nice and the maintenance guy is very professional. I hope that they both stay working here for a long time. Is nice to find good people like that.

I live in a small apartment here and I have lived here for a year. Cons: I had roaches and ants, but that was taken care of after reporting to management. The apartments aren't in very good condition on the inside or outside. Apartments are old and run down. The parking lot along the street is cracked and in poor condition so I do not park in front of my apartment. The large parking lot was recently repaved so I park there. My neighbor smokes marijuana, but I think he moved out recently. Pros: Location, location, location. The area is very nice and it's close 610. No issues finding parking spots no matter the time of day. Problems reported to maintenance is usually fixed promptly. Apartments are quiet. With this place, it's really cheap, and you get what you pay for. At least I get to live in a nice area but I wouldn't have my friends visit.

Horrible parking, on top of no covered parking there are holes and very unleveled. Code violations, no loyalty to long term residents, no amenities to offer, however, they keep going UP on the rent! Light bills are out rageous, plus you have water/gas/waste bill on top of rent too high for what is offered. I've been biten by a spider and wound up in the hospital the first month I lived here and have even come home to a SNAKE in my apartment! Water standing month after month in my kitchen and bathroom. They didn't fix it properly until after a year of living there. If you want to move in your first day like this...move here: I moved in with my A/C NOT working, the carpet not cleaned, and it took almost a week to get the air working and over two weeks to get my carpet cleaned. The stove didn't work and had to move another one in, etc., And, then as you can see the problems have steadily been coming. It wasn't until January, when a new manager was hired that things have gotten better., but the Management Group still doesn't care about it's residents and with what you get...it's too much $$$. The only reason I'm still here is because of my situation and I like the small complex being set back in a neighborhood. PLUS...Who likes to move???

ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES, not to mention the raw sewage seeping into the yard and the fact that my apartment started falling apart 3 months after I moved in and they didnt even try to get anything done until a year had went by. I've reported the unhealthy roach infestation several times and all the leasing consultant, who is now gone, could say is "Maybe it's because your dirty" or "Thats just how apartments are." I clean my apartment until my fingers bleed and have bug bombed on multiple occasions and it hasn't helped any, not to mention every resident I have spoken to does and says the same thing I do and wants to leave asap. My advise, stay as far away from these apartments as possible, they should be condemned.

These apartments probably wouldn't be that bad if management wasn t so lazy. She gets nothing done and never checks up on the place and she lives in the complex. There are constant plumbing problems outside and you may find human stools from time to time close to your front door. Do not move in here, it is not worth it unless you are underage and want to have a constant party going on. All the kids sit outside and smoke dope and are on ecstasy so they are up all night partying on the weekends. There are several drug dealers who live in the complex and management knows about it. It s quiet during the day and the beginning of the week. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors and their fighting. The apartment itself was in really bad shape and had constant problems that never got fixed. This is not a good or safe place to live!!!
