I currently live here and have been here about 8 months and plan on renewing my lease.The management has changed but for the better, the manager Sue is very nice and helpful. I've had one thing go wrong I called and got it fixed that same day. The 2 repair man are very nice and helpful. Its a very small apt complex but its safe. I have two young children and I feel its safe for them as well. My neighbor has lived here 4 years and loves it too. There are so many bad reviews and they are false I love that an exterminater comes about every 8 weeks and sprays in the apartment I have seen maybe 1 roach since I've been here. The location is great I'm close to major highways n shopping.and since the building is old , u don't hear much noise especially from neighbors, I highly reccomend this place and the gates ALL work :)

OK the place is not all that bad. Let me tell you about the management. In two years I have met four managers and three leasing lady's!!!! Crazy but true. The leasing seem to be nice but they always hire people who don't speak English properly. I never understood the ladies. And the managers were never around. The only people you see is the maintenance guys, that do there job. Oh and let me tell you about the house keeping lady, she is never to be found and the apartments are never clean!!!! She's always chitchating with the residents that have no jobs and stay at home with there ten kids watching Spanish soaps. They have roaches, no matter how much they exterminate!!!! I had to buy stuff on my own and still had them. My neighbors are what you call ------!!! Always slamming the doors getting in flights all the time!!! And lets not bring up parking!!! The worse!!!! A lady who lives there has three cars and uses the few parking spots they have for her old junk to be parked. And the water price went up also. And the gate is always BROKEN!!!! hint hint I think its time for a new one. So if you still live there or are moving in Good Luck!!!!!!!

I called last week about these apartments. The manager was very nice and spoke to me in a very professional matter.I recieved a phone call today on my cell phone and was unable to answer it, so I called back on my work phone, when the person on the other end answered real rudly. I told her someone had called my cell phone from their number she said she didnt know and hung up on me. I called her back and she picked up and hung up on me again.The third time I called she let her answering service pick up. Now I wonder why previous tenants have complained. Who knows I could of been the next tenant to this unfavorable apartment. So glad I read these reviews. Maybe next time someone with professional manners will answer the phone.

The former owner (as I was told) was a ------ man. He passed away and again as I was told the wife of the former owner is not allowed, in the ------ religion, to own property so she was forced to sell. The place has been sold a few times since then. And the property managment company has changed several times as well. Management no longer lives on the property as they did in the past. Managers who do not live on property do not seem to care to much about what goes on here when they are not here. Cars stolen, security non existant, heard stories of apartment break ins. I will move out when the lease expires in a few months. New ownership is always adding new fees. They now charge $25 per mnth for water per single occupancy and double for two residents in a unit. $10 per mnth for covered parking. And the latest added fee is $6.00 per month for garbage even though they do not pickup the garbage. Residents must carry thier own garbage to the dumpsters. Beer bottles now being left on the car ports and other trash and shopping carts dragged onto the property from the near by HEB, Randalls and Kroger grocery stores. I agree with another post on here that you do often get what you pay for.

Unsafe, Gate is always broken, parking is a nightmare, this old complex needs some serious renovation pest control.
