Hello! I moved to the Villias of Pine Lake Apartments in May 2010 (from Michigan). When moved in the carpet was worn and had many bleach spots. Made the management aware and I was told if I stayed after my one year lease was up they would give me new carpet (was not interested). At that time I had no choice but too move in the apartment because my son and I drove from Michigan with all of are things, ready too move in. This was only the being, the maintenance was ok for the first month but after that the only repairs that the manager would approve was that ones that she felt was an emergency. In May 2011 (right before I was ready too move out) my apartment got broken into (at night) and the police took over two hours too come out and the "emergency maintenance" did not come out at all that night too repair the broken window. The window did not get repaired until the next day in the late afternoon. I moved out on May 4, 2011 and I ask the manager if I could get a refund for the May rent due too the fact that it is not safe too live hear if the police do not respond in a timely manner and the maintenance can not secure a units when an emergency occur. This apartment is not safe and the manager dose not have a Clue. The kids are always running in the street (almost hit about two) the reason why I decide to move too this apartment was because they have a full basketball court, (I thought it would be good for my son too meet knew friends) but little did I know they have no rims or nets (asked several time when will they put them up.. but no rims). My water bill started out as 18.27 for a two bedroom and slowly went up too the high 30.00 dollar range. This can go on and on but I think I will stop hear. BEWARE! Oh P.S! The speed bump will wear your vehicle suspension out..

My girl lives with her 3 kids at these apartments and getting her the hell out asap. I've had to stay with her since issues began. We have been burglarized twice in 3 months, by punks who live here, next door. The second time was in about 3 hours that we were gone and the 5 punks watched us leave together, totally cleaned us out. The window they broke in through has yet to be fixed, a week already. The kids are traumatized and going through anxiety attacks and random crying from fear. The staff are fine and the grounds keepers are very nice and feel for what we've been through. Our new neighbor became upset when we got robbed the second time due to finding out through us that there is no security, which was verified to her prior to signing, there is no security what so ever. Anyone can drive through the gates by waiting for someone to go in. My girl had to change her cell number due to random, unknown people calling her at any hour, day, night or early morning asking to get buzzed in. How they got her phone number, we have no clue. You have random punk thug wanna be knocking at your door at any time looking to see who is home, who's not home and when it's a female they wait for the door to be answered until they see a man answer the door to say they got the wrong apartment. Punks bust breakers to buildings to shut off the hallway lights and outside lights and it feels so unsafe to step out of the door in the evening. There is a sex offender that lives in the complex, can find it online. Punks will go into empty garages to smoke weed and what not or just do what ever. A lot of neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. Police and rescue are usually in the complex for many reasons of coarse. It feels like you are actually living in the movie, "Escape from New York", trapped and always having to watch out for your safety. We've been waiting for a week on a response to get moved to the front where is just a little safe, but nothing. I'm just going to get her and the kids the hell out of here and let these people just weed themselves out. Pets are not allowed, but there are pets in apartments.

The apartment management and maintenance crew are very nice. The apartments are well kept and maintenance responds in a reasonable about of time. However; the residents are nothing but low life, uneducated, New Orleans wanna be gang transplants. The lease clearly says no pets. A few residents have dogs. One in tenant near the front office has two in an upstairs apartment. My kids are bullied and their parents do nothing about it. When complaining to other parents, they threaten to kick your ---. Kids vandalize and break into cars. The white guy that lives here had his brand new car scratched by kid right in front of him. The teenagers smoke pot at various places around the complex and I have heard the bus stop. In the mornings there are so many mamas taking their getto babies to the bus stop in cars that the parking lot is congested. Someone is going to run over one of the kids. The kids that are there alone are either harassed by the older kids or are tearing up property. The teens around here have been told not to play or sit on the a/c units. They remove the covers, sit and play, etc. One was recently electrocuted. They take or cut up the screens on the lower apartments. They have been observed banging on windows and harassing the tenants inside. They break the outdoor lighting and because the meter boxes are not locked up the shut the power off to the apartments. The security gate works, but people that don't even live here have codes for the gate. People will wait in front of the gate until another lets them in. Or until some one come out then they drive 25 miles an hour the wrong way. Oh yes, apparently the road ways in the complex are considered speedways. I would like to thank my black brothers and sisters for giving us a bad name.

who ever is reading this post, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT live at this location. these are a bunch of crooks. they do the bait and switch. they show u a property and then after u r approved, they give u some old funky looking apartment. now they say luxury. there is NOTHING luxury about this place except where the managers are. now 4 those that r saying i do not know what i am talking about, i currently live here and that is how they got me. the appliances are so outdated. the faucets have dirt and slime on them. the microwave and the stove is so old, they have rust and rat droppings on them. the garages have holes in them and they do not lock unless you put something in the hole to keep it from going up. the community is more like a rehabilitation center than a place to live. i recently found out that some children were "possibly raped or molested" by some man. 2 residents were robbed at gunpoint. does this sound like a place that you want your children to live? everything is open during business hours ONLY. please, do not move here. the pictures are nice until u sign the lease. please, these apartments are ------ and you do not want to stay here. the advertisement is very deceptive.
