I lived at Bayou on the Bend for more than 2 years. It was a pleasure living there. Management is very friendly and helpful. The amenities are good. The rooftop pool/hot tub area has a beautiful view of the city, and is well maintained. The lower infinity pool is great with 3 hot tubs and a grill/kitchen area. The lower grounds by the bayou are well maintained and is a great place for my dog to play. The location is unbeatable. Buffalo Bayou Park is less than a mile in one direction, and Memorial Park is a mile away in the other direction. Supermarkets, restaurants, Downtown, The Galleria, Montrose, I-45 and I-10 are all within 5-10 minutes. Overall, Bayou on the Bend is a great place to live. Henriette manages the place extremely well. I highly recommend it to prospective residents.

The worst apartment complex I've lived in by a landslide. Decent facility, but happiness of the residents all comes down to how management treats them. Henriette gets an F. All the negative reviews on here are completely true. Rude is one thing, but I can sum it up with one statement: The overall mentality here is that they just don't care. They have no empathy for resident concerns, no matter what they are, so if you have a problem, expect that sort of treatment. Here's a specific example. The towing policy here, as explained in other reviews, is the most aggressive and ridiculous policy I have ever come across for an apartment complex. They clearly have some sort of kickback contract with a towing company, so they will look for any reason to tow you.. If your tires are on the white line, if you're sticker is not in the right place, your car is gone. No ticket, no warning. You get a nice $250 bill and a 14 mile drive to the ------ to get your car. They tow in the middle of the night. My mother in law came in from out of town and parked her car in a non reserved spot on the second floor at 1130 pm to unload luggage, and came out to her car at 7 am and it was gone (it was supposed to be parked in the "guest area"). They don't care if you're even a resident and you get towed.. they'll passive aggressively tell you to look at the section of the lease on parking and it states that you broke the rules. It's your fault, not our problem. Again, they don't care about or your well-being or your happiness here. There is no critical thinking or trying to improve policies by incorporating resident feedback. Make sure you envision how that overall attitude of this complex will affect you, before you sign a lease here.

I recently left bayou on the bend apartments. The apartments are getting older and the maintenance is poor. I was in the middle of two noisy neighbors. TV load the hole night, dogs barking etc.. I had to call management several times and the only answer was " we will call the neighbor". The most annoying thing was when we moved out! We left the apartment clean and for our surprise we got $80 dollars fee. I´m telling you right now if we got charge 99.9% of residents will be charged too, we are not smokers and we didn´t have pets. Management sometimes is rude and in some situations we had to send email asking for explanation. I remember when my wife wanted to print her resume in the business room and the printer was running out of paper and they didn´t want to print her resume in their own computers. Bayou on the bend love their residents but they forgot to tell you just to pay monthly! I won´t recommend this place to any of my friends.

I have been living here at Bayou on the Bend for more than 2 years. I have to leave because of professional reasons. It has been an immense pleasure living here. The management are very friendly and helpful. The people of the community are nice. I like the amenities, both the pools are awesome. The maintenance staff are very kind, courteous, and professional. They have security guards present 24X7. It is a great place to live. Henriette manages the place very well. Highly recommended to prospective residents.

We've been living at Bayou on the Bend since 2 years and we are sad to leave due to professional transfer. Our experience has been excellent and I thought it worth sharing: It is a very well maintained building, the location can't be better, right inside the loop and a few steps to both Bayou park and Memorial Park. What makes it very unique versus the rest of Houston is the view on the Bayou, beautiful and quiet, and a good spot to watch Texas birds and wild life. What we appreciate the most beside our apartment is the service... The team is kind and endeavors to make us happy and satisfied. A HUGE thank to Henriette, the actual Property Manager who is simply amazing.
