My husband and I have lived at the Bordeaux for 3 years. Every time we host, our guests comment on how beautiful the landscaping is, and what a peaceful escape it is from the busy-ness of the city! We love the courtyard area, which is so conducive to neighbors gathering. We would definitely recommend the Bordeaux to friends looking for a new home in the Galleria area!

My husband and I have leased a 1-bedroom apartment at The Bordeaux for the past 3 years. It is a "second home" for us, as my husband works in Houston during the week, returning to our home on the weekends. This complex is a smaller, older, quiet, well-maintained complex nestled in big older trees with pretty landscaping. It is gated, with assigned parking near our apartment. Throughout the time that we have lived here, the management has been very responsive and promptly attentive to any concerns that we have had. There is a 24-hour answering service that will contact the manager ( who lives onsite) immediately of any problems. The maintenance crew has always been great, and work hard to keep the complex looking good. The Bordeaux is in a great location, an easy drive to downtown on Memorial Drive. In addition, it is close to great shopping, eating and parks. The Bordeaux has been just what we have needed for our situation. I would highly recommend The Bordeaux to anyone looking for a quiet, safe little retreat in the middle of the city.

I cannot say enough great things about this apartment complex. It is a hidden treasure - right in the middle of Post Oak - Central to the Galleria, 610 Loop, I10, Memorial, etc. It is very community-oriented and surrounded by greenery (which a lot of the more modern apartments do not have). The units are surprisingly spacious with big closets (bigger than my former house in the burbs!!). The laundry rooms are very well kept and I have rarely ever had to wait to use the machines. But most importantly - the staff is exceptional - friendly, responsive, proactive, and much more. They have made my family feel very welcome and cared for since day 1.

The first year that we lived here was a great experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. After the long term managers (Michelle and Austin) left the complex has steadily gone downhill. The current staff change on what seems like a monthly basis, the water pressure that was always slightly bad has gotten worse. Repairs on site have gotten longer, the laundry room routinely has one or more broken machines in it. Many of these issues are minor compared to the most pressing. Rent payment has been handled online, however recently this changed to a different third party company. Since the change rent has not gone through correctly once. We have corrected to pay rent accordingly however as the system is not properly recording the rent the new staff has issued eviction notices to multiple tenants despite receiving rent money. While they corrected this issue the emotional distress from the instance is far too high to ever consider renting from a Finger Companies apartment, and I would advise everyone to stay away from them in the future.

I have lived at the Bordeaux >2 years, first in a two bedroom with a roommate and now in a one bedroom. The leasing staff went above and beyond to make sure a one bedroom was available for me, and have always been willing to help with problems big and small. The floorplans are very good and make the most of the space. The units are well maintained and do not show their age. The age of the complex is moreso apparent with the plumbing and HVAC, which require repair more frequently than in a new apartment complex. The maintenance team has always been very responsive to these issues, though, so the inconvenience caused has been limited. The major highlights are the price, location, and community. The rent rates for the Bordeaux are far less than anything else in the area. The complex is close to the Galleria, 610, I-10, Memorial Park, and Tanglewood which has a nice residential running path. The leasing and maintenance staff as well as all the residents I have met are very friendly. Everyone keeps to themselves and noise is never an issue. One inconvenience worth noting is traffic. During the evening rush hour, traffic gets quite backed up at the S Post Oak/Woodway intersection, so you have to allow a few more minutes travel time if you leave/arrive around then. Overall I get more than I pay for, and I am happy to be a resident of the Bordeaux!

I recently moved in almost 2 months ago and Austin helped me make the decision to move in very professional yet down to earth...my move in was a smooth transaction my neighbors have greatly welcomed me to the community. I had minor issues like I needed a new light and within 20 minutes maintenance was at my door. The community even had our own Christmas party hosted by management. Very well kept clean property not to mention the price I pay for location is affordable after 4 different moves in 2 years I believe I've finally found my home! I would recommend The Bordeaux to anyone

The first two years I lived here were really great but it has since deteriorated after the previous lease manager left. The previous apartment was plagued with problems. I had a leaky sink which they never managed to fix even after multiple tries. The AC used to stop working during peak summer just on its own. Even though they attempted to fix it still stopped working every few weeks. I transferred to my current apartment since I could no more live there. After the transferring I find that the deposit was deducted even though I had left the house the same way I had entered. They painted the full apartment just because they could and deducted the cost from my deposit. I stayed there for 8 months and I really left the house the way I got it. The current apartment also came with it's own problems with a rotting patio which they promised to fix, non - existent pathway to exit and low pressure showers during morning hours and a neighbor above who thinks running on a treadmill everyday at 7 PM is a good idea in an apartment. The only reason I give it one extra star is because of the location rest it has nothing better to offer.

I recently moved out and finally have my own house, and my years at these apartments was over all pleasant, the recent change in management was not pleasant as the young lady now there in the apartment office seems very unprofesional and very condecending, other than that the place is great and I loved how quiet it was.

The Bordeaux is a great place to live. Michele, the complex manager, is super friendly and responsive to requests. The grounds are always well-maintained and the people are respectful and quiet. A great place to live if you want to be close to downtown and the Galleria.
