I've lived at Cambridge Oaks since I enrolled at University of Houston. Any problem I've ever had was solved in a timely manner, the staff at the office is so nice and they are always willing to help with any questions of problems you may have. The renovations of the apartments are amazing.

Do not live here. I lived here for a year and it was the worst thing ever. First off, the staff gave me the wrong key to my first apartment (this is when they still had physical keys). I had to go back to the office so they could give me the correct key. After finally being able to go into the apartment, I was quickly saddened by the smell, the appearance and THE MOLD IN MY BATHROOM. It was hard to sleep that first night there because of the strong musty mold smell. It was almost impossible to sleep actually. I went to the office and complained the next day. They said they would take care of it... they didn't until my roommates and I wouldn't stop emailing them everyday for a week so they could pay attention to us. The staff here is terrible. They don't care about your health. They sprayed the mold with bleach and that was it. I couldn't sleep in my apartment that night because of the strong bleach smell. That obviously didn't fix the problem so my roommates and I requested to be moved to a different apartment. This took them about a week to figure out, so it was another long week of dealing with health problems because of the mold. We move into our new apartment and the smell had sort of gone away, but now we have a huge cockroach problem. Not only did we have cockroaches, but we would randomly have ant trails inside of our apartment. Please keep in mind this was the first couple of weeks of school. We were all trying to get situated into our first apartment when all of this was happening, while still trying to manage our new school schedules. This place is a cheap option for on-campus, but it is not worth it at all. Do not live here. This place is terrible. Plus you have to pay for a UH parking sticker, even though you are parking inside of the apartment complex. Oh, and you have to pay to wash your clothes here. Again, do not live here. Live anywhere but here. Management doesn't care.

Worst apartment. They have really poor service and staff is rude most of the times. They only know how to grab your money with no service. They will not consider any of your request, instead will ask you to pay for everything. I would recommend not to consider this apartment at all. They have got several useless reasons to take your money and their lease policy is very bad. I decided to stay there because I need to stay close to campus and had no car. I don't feel like giving 1 star to you guys. Shame on you guys! Have some courtesy. We are all just students still you guys are not at all cooperative.

MOLD, ROACHES, and AGGRESSIVE STAFF - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS Title pretty much says it all, I lived here for a year and it was easily the worst living experience of my life. There was black mold growing in my apartment, there was a roach infestation across my whole unit, the management staff was incompetent and occasionally aggressive (and to make matters worse, the lease allows them to enter your unit without warning or permission). On top of everything, you're paying at least double what it's worth (and this was back when it was $1,000 a month, I hear it's gone up. I befriended several of my neighbors thanks to mutual issues with the management, and not a single person in my building renewed their lease. You can easily find a safer, cleaner apartment in a better area at a fraction of the cost. Please, for your own health and safety, DO NOT EVER rent from Cambridge Oaks.

I stayed with this property for about 3 years. Worst. Years. Of. My. Life. Management is forever changing, which means policies are always changing. As far as leases, parking, fees, etc. Roaches EVERYWHERE. A/C units always froze over and flooded my apartment. And all they did was bring is big fans to dry the carpet. Molding and your health be damned. And my personal favorite? I have been away from the god awful property for a year now, and they are STILL emailing me about mystery fees that i owe them. I had a HORRIBLE experiance just trying to move away from these apartments. I had to make a payment for my final month of occupancy of $500 TWICE because, what with all the new staff every 5 minutes, no one could verify my payments. And after it was all said and done they ASSURED me all of my fees/debts were settled. Now a year down the line, "oh just kidding, you owe $40 more dollars for utlities." Gtfoh!!! Like literally, if i do nothing else with my life, i just want to make sure no one makes the same mistake i did in making these apartments my college living space.
