The apartments are old, everything is outdated but thats exactly what you expect when your rent is cheap. if your on a budget than this apartments are ok. if you are looking for upgrades, and amenities this are not the apartments for you. all this to the side the community is quiet. if your waiting for the BUT.... here it comes the manager Peggy is rude, you cant get a smile from her even if you paid for it. she always seems to be in a bad mood. I dont know if she hates her job or she hates all of her tenants. Very unprofessional, an non-mannered, i can really go on an on about how unpleasant she is. i have lived in apartments going on 7 years an have never came across someone with her approach an her demeanor. Corporate if you pay any kind of attention to this review, please be aware of this. We as tenant should not have to undergo this type of customer service as tenants. Gloria is friendly and social and a pleasure to deal with.

One of the things i love about this property is the maintenance!! whenever you called they go to fix your issue the same day!!!

I have been living here almost a year and I like it but the other review is right the manager is a ----- and she is very rude at first I was very hesitant about moving here due to the apts across the street are not so calm and quiet but I moved anyway I have an upstairs apt and my neighbor below complains about every damn thing I have came home to several notices on my door about noises that can not be prevented its minor stuff like my toddler daughter walking I mean what do you expect from a 3 yr old the good thing is my apt is spacious and very clean the maintenance comes when you call the only reason I'm considering moving is because of the manager and her attitude it just don't sit well with me

I really dislike the manager, why in the hell will i call the office for them to come fix door....the phone was on speaker phone...then i over-heard her tell the receptionist to tell me "is none of their business" When i confronted her, she wasn't ready to appologize. This is very rude to tell your employees that their tenants issues are none of their businesses. For Christ sake, we pay the rent every month. JUST LEARN HOW TO BE POLITE AND APPOLOGIZE WHEN YOU GET BUSTED FOR YOUR ACTION.

Lots of new improvements, professional new management in 2010. Ample parking and friendly staff.

I dont advise living here. Staff is bad and ------,the leasing agents are whores and they come in and out of mens apts. They are rude with resident and not professional at all. They accepts criminal there and have drug dealers living there. I have had my sister living there and that is the only thing she can afford, you get for what you pay for..

Its not safe you could always hear gunshots in this place. Pleople have been robbed here two that know so far. Alot of roches. things have to be getting fix all the time. theres parking because not many peolple like to live here but are stuck with their lease agrement.

i have been living here for 3 years with my daughter and boyfriend and its really not a bad place to live. the rent is reasonable and maintanence has about a 1-2 day turnaround so i have no complaints. after katrina, things did get a bit ------, with noise and music and people hanging outside, but all that stopped. the apts are pretty quiet and everyone pretty much keeps to themselves.

I was skeptical about living here, but it is really quiet I have 2 girls and nobody is ever around to be causing trouble. Nothing but families stay here, after Ike we were the first on the block to get power. Our manager came and drove through to see how we were and they take good care of you here.

The Oaks of Ashford Point Apts. is a horrible palce to stay! This management was poor,the maintenance is unbeleivable bad.the complex is nasty,the apartments are not well kept and the property is not safe!I would not advise NO ONE to move there! STAY AWAY!
