Its cool place to live. Maintenance doesnt always fix the problem so I have to submit multiple requests for things sometimes. But they always come in a timely manner and thats better than my last place.

I have lived here for several years, I am not as happy as I was before, one of the reason is that the few washer/dryer machines are most of the time broken. It takes long time to have them repaired. Another reason is the lack of maintenance to the grounds which used to be real green, but now they look brownish.

I moved here over 20 years ago and am still satisfied with living here and in the surrounding community. Everything I just about need is close by. The multiple pools are an added bonus. The grounds are well kept and the pools are cleaned regularly. The is a laundry room in every section too.

It is a cheap place to live for students but I had security concerns there many times. Parts of my car were stolen, my packages ordered from Amazon, my neighbor's car etc. On top of that, people don't pick up after their dogs, which makes the grass really dirty and inconvenient to walk around

Noisy neighbors and hollow walls. Crowded parking. Rear parking lot not even paved and floods regularly. Trash service contributes to rats and roaches problem. Farmers markets attracts rodents. Animal Shelter and Neighbors dont cleanup after animals Laundry area too small and only has two washers

Maintenance sucks , I got robbed once but know someone else that got robbed twice the leasing office has done nothing, Pool is never clean, the washer & dryer sucks always broken,idk why I pay for rent or extra charges whenever nothing is done

I just wrote a long review that im not sure saved but im trying again because its super important to me to prevent the headache of anyone else moving in here. most importantly youll never get rid of the bugs. staff doesnt care to implement a real solution for this. secondly the neighbors are noisy and messy. its too big of a complex to have any sort of real community and the grounds arent maintained in a way that makes the shared spaces enjoyable. the combined utilities is such a scam. and their covid and texas freeze responses left much to be desired. i’m sure it was equally as frustrating to live here through hurricane harvey which btw it flooded here.

2 large closets, nice paint and carpet colors, shoddy maintenance, and roach infested, spraying, rarely happens and does nothing, tree roaches run right in the apt under the the door threshold, I could see the sun shine right through it when I moved in, decent price to be close to med center, lame closed down grocery store parking lot, not much to walk to. AC breaks 10 times a summer and doesnt cool, and management doesnt care, most have to have an additional portable AC unit. Every 2 days there is a reported car break in and/or jacking. No security patrol or cameras. I witnessed a murder from my carjacking gone bad. Mostly quiet except for my neighbor who is outside all day long smoking cigarettes and yelling into his cellphone. If I step outside I have to inhale smoke and smoke blows in my door, it seeps through the window panes too. Not sealed well so cold air in winter blows in too.

I have had a great experience. No real issues. The apartments are in a great location and is very quiet. Staff are very professional and friendly. I would recommend anyone to visit and possibly move in.

Overall, Stratford House is a decent place to live if you need to save money. Some residents are not considerate; they leave their poor dogs barking all day; when they come home late, they have their car music up loud in their parking space without consider its right next to your window; they consistently leave their trash out in the parking areas; guys have fist fights right outside their doors. The apartments themselves continue to be a good value, but the clientele has gradually deteriorated so that the complex is becoming ------.
