ok in all honesty i have never been mugged or anything bad happened. I dont think its because this is a safe place its because GOD has protected me all the one year I was here. The gates were pretty much broken the whole time I was here, and I believe they only fix it in the summer when its "rental season". As far as maintence they are nice people, they do come in and fix things well not necessarily fix in some occasions i say more like make it ok. For example my disoposable broke down many many times and I am not one to be picky but it gets disgusting after a while because it leaves a stench. They have "fixed this many times" but honestly if you are licensed proffessional your work shouldnt be breaking down every five minutes. Secondly off to the water, water may be included in the rent but it does get cut off NUMEROUS TIMES. MInd you I pay my rent on time every single day of my every month and sometimes even early, yet and still water gets cut off because of a leak. I dont believe that because every single time I called them to complain the water got turned back on. Overall now these apartment the cheapest one bedroom, one bathroom is going for 560 for rent and water. I promise its not worth it. and of course the roaches, ROACHES AND MORE ROACHES. Truth to God one of my neighbors said the roaches CRAWL on her ! mines were never that much in the begnning but im bout to get out of this hellhole of a place and i see them everywhere. If you need a place look at the Berkshire,alcove, the redford, anywhere. Papa johns doesnt even deliever here because they said its too dangerous. The way I do it is i keep to myself because u will see a lot of sneaky stuff. I wouldnt be surprised if there were drug deals. The poliece does come here often at night and my first few months there were gunshots. I never dealt with that cause I kept to myself. it is cheap but with the hassle of the place the roaches and the ac leaks, the ac not working well, the front office and their stupid rules cause now they want 10 for parking.... honestly 10 dollars is nothing but if you look at the filthwhole they call a parking lot its a joke. Raccons at night, the grass is only cut once a week, the trash all over the place because they dont have enough common sense to put two trash bins.

The previous management here was horrible. The neighbors complained about a missing rug, so the manager came to ask for it. It was more importnant than the service request i put in 2 weeks before. A child, 14 YEARS OLD got shot in the neck across from my apartment in broad daylight. The vehicle that shot him had no problem coming in and out of the gate. Nina, so sleasy and unprofessional. Office staff not the best. I broke my lease here.

I can not stand these apartments with a passion!!! The manager is beyond rude almost every woman working in office has no idea what their doing and the ones that do are also rude! The parkinglot gets flooded theres alot. As soon as my lease is up im out of here!!

This is my first apartment and i would recommend this to my family. The side i stay on is very quite and not many children running around. The cost of rent is perfect. I love that i can answer the gate using my cell phone and the new staff is really nice and knowledgeable.

i just moved here about 2 weeks ago to be closer to my family and im ready to leave the roaches here are just as scary as the crack heads talking to them selfs outside my window roaches crawl on my table like nothing like really now if i ever want to move ill have to make sure all my ---- is roach free i cant even have my window open at night people will be on drugs talking to themselfs and screaming i even had one staring at my son so i had to close it during the day its quiet and calm but in the night forget it NOT WORTH IT AT ALL IM READY TO LEAVE!DONT GET ME WRONG THEY ARE DECENT BUT ONCE THEY GIVE YOU THE KEY DONT ASK FOR ANYTHING ALL THEY WANT IS THERE MONEY!

The manager here at these apartments is extremely rude & unprofessional. I can't believe I was considering moving to this place. Yeah the rent is cheap but I would NEVER recommend these apartments to ANYONE! She stays in her office and has her leasing agents do all the work, she is not very welcoming, & I wouldn't be surprised if she's on drugs. TOTAL NIGHTMARE, the apartments have potential but the way she represents them makes even considering living there a horrible thought.

The commons are great apartments just the mientence take forever to get something done....the staff are good like i said just the mientence people take to long...

These apartments are garbage and ALL the people in the front office don't do there job they are full of ----. and The manager Graciela and Nina will ---- for money they charge 300 and on top of that them ladies look like trash.

My husband and I lived at the Commons for a year and were more than happy when our lease was up last month. We chose to live here because although we were familiar with area,we figured how bad can it really be and we would be able to save some $$! The first couple of months honestly weren't that bad. Our upstairs neighbors were fairly queit. Our other neighbors on the other hand were loud and obviously drug dealers living off the goverment. Word around the complex was management was "on good terms" with them. You obviously pay for what you get.I also was sick the first couple of months we moved in.We asked if they could come and change filters because they were disgusting and nobody never came out so we did it ourselves.The vents are disgusting and full of dust!We had to go without hot water about 5 times in one month! Despite how clean you can possibly be or how many roach killers you buy, there always seems to be ROACHES EVERYWHERE!The new maintenece lady wasn't too bad. She did things on a timely manner. Wether the orders got out to her on time is a different story.Management just flat out does not care for your needs even if youre the type to pay your rent early and never bug them..THEY DON'T CARE!!GET NEW JOB IF YOU HONESTLY DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU DO!!!The pool is also always disgusting!And don't count on the gates getting fixed even if they tell you someone has already been out to fix them The pros of this place is the price and parking. Parking isn't too bad. And although other neighbors are loud its not to the point where you can't sleep at night. If you want to save money move here but be prepared for roaches and drug dealers.
