I am a resident at Brookside Gardens apartments. I have been dealing with ants in my apartments for about six months now now the answers are in my living room crawling all on my wall. I was told that it is not a high priority about my situation. They have came to exterminate which I’ve told him that the exterminate has not done anything. and the manager is aware of it and I’m still living like this with my two daughters and I am allergic to the ants.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!! Property Manager: Theresa Arnold is a Lier, does under the table work and very unprofessional!!! I am a former resident and also worked for the previous company that sold this property to 5th Avenue. I was told I had to move immediately by the manager and she also lied to me in my face about a balance that I didn’t owe. When I asked her why did she lie she immediately started yelling and being disrespectful!!! What she doesn’t know is I have her on a recording saying I did not owe a balance and this would not be on my report. As a property manager she was very unprofessional and also a LIER!!! How could 5th Avenue hire someone so ------? I will be taking this situation further and have all the documents and recordings I need. As far as employees 5th Avenue needs to do way better. I am currently still in the industry and would NEVER recommend this property with the management it has. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!

I rode through the property after a friend suggested I look at the apartments. From the front they look very nice but once inside the property it is very dingy. The building needs to be pressure washed and painted again. The stairs and walkways are nasty. The property is disgusting. The back should look as nice as the leasing office. The front and online is very deceiving.

Malinda is a sweetheart if u put in a work order r anything tht needs 2 b done she b right up on it with no problem she is a concern lady abt her residents .and any questions tht needs 2 b answer she will answer the with no problem r no altitude i love it here bcuz of her she makes her residents feel comfortable .i don't have a problem with none of the staff in the office .

Visited apartments and was greeted by Malinda. She was very sweet and helpful. I was given a tour and the property was very clean and quiet. They assisted me with the application process and I am looking forward to calling these apartments my new home! I was very impressed with how helpful Malinda was through out the whole process.

Staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional and not to knowledgeable about leasing industry in general. There have been more than 3 shootings in the community, one being fatal. DO NOT MOVE here if you are looking for a decent community, at best this community is a 1 (I'm being generous). Something immediate needs to be done to these apartments as it's not safe nor a responsible choice to live here. Please be advised on your safety should you move here. Best of luck to the next company takes over this property, essentially a PR nightmare and major safety hazard.

All the reviews are absolutely true. I have been here for two weeks it is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. The kids throw trash everywhere and the adults as well. The dumpsters are too small for the amount of apartments over here. They do not complete there work orders I've been waiting for them to finish the repairs for two weeks. The lady above me walks like she's 400 pounds and her kids run and jump late up in the evening. Do not come here please.

Do not move here!!!! I have never encountered such a pack of malicious individuals. Never have I been more disgusted. Once a resident here, you become of lesser value. Work orders are never completed. The maintenance doesn't speak english. The employees Will call the police on you before they call to fix the exit gate and pool. These people wear their emotions on their sleeves and forgets how to conduct themselves in a professional manner. No one in the leasing office is experienced to be an leasing agent. No one. This is an housing property and they could care less. They do not understand the process. You will lose your voucher expecting them to do their job. And once completed it's too late. These people have no problem lying to you or on you. They are only there for personal gratification. Fyi the names of these individuals are Cindy:office manager She is unprofessional,rude,inconsiderate,very uneducated in the field and cantankerous. Getting her to understand you without judgement or making you feel inadequate is her specialty. Don't expect her to fix anything. she'll get Maggie to do it. Smh... Maggie has no idea on how to process paperwork. She has lost copies of birth certificates and ssn for my children. She will lie to save herself as well as Michelle, the youngest and most naive. she is the same as Maggie just with an nasty self indulgent attitude. I have lived here many years with no problems until I met those 3. They are not someone you should entrust with responsibility of your home. Home is suppose to be the one place you have peace of mind....Believe that.... The foundation is trash. Even a small child will sound like an adult walking over your head. Your neighbor above you could slam there door and yours too if left open. It always sounds like someone else is walking in my home. The pool is never clean. There's spiders everywhere. And on call security never my vehicle has been broken in twice.... I could keep going but you came here looking for someone like me. Someone who is going to tell the truth... it isn't worth it. Run for the hills.

If you want better for yourself don't move here. The inside of the apartments are spacious. But management is letting the apartments go down the buildings haven't been power washed since they came here. Some of the residents are not civilized, they let there kids run around everywhere without adult supervision also letting them take the trash out so trash be on the ground everywhere. The pool is always a problem it's either dirty because they think it's a restroom or it's not clean. If you don't mind swimming in nasty swap green water then dive in ????.The gym it's always something not workin

The new management are rude and do not care about the tenants. My vehicle was broken into and my mailbox was stolen when I asked office personnel to change the mailbox lock I was told I would be charged. I have had to call multiple times for maintenance to do repairs and when I asked corporates number I was given a toll free number that connects to the office voicemail. DO NOT MOVE HERE
