I disagree with this review about pest. My spouse and I lived there for a good while and we never had any pest problem. These apartments are in great condition unfortunately my spouse and I moved to another area for our jobs otherwise I'm sure we would still be living there. But management is always on top of everything , even the littlest things.

DO NOT MOVE HERE THEY HAVE A HORRIBLE PEST PROBLEM THE APPLIANCES ARE VERY OLD AND YOU HAVE TO RENEW YOUR LEASE BEFORE THEY COME CLEAN YOUR CARPET AND THAT'S NOT UNTIL JAN 2016 FOR ME PLEASE PLEASE DONT RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX

My experience here was overall a positive one. My family and I have lived here for about 3 years. Con: Roaches, roaches, roaches!! I am not a fan of these critters, the complex does have pest control, but it's not very thorough, they just spray in the cracks in the kitchen and bathroom. So, afterwards my husband would set off bombs and we sealed everywhere we could-needless to say we did a better job of controlling the critters. Privacy is minimal.The walls are super thin, I always heard children wrestling, babies crying, phone conversations and there were tenants above us who always woke us up by having SEX and it was always at the same time. Up until they moved out!! The surrounding apartments are not really appealing, neither are some of the people walking up and down the sidewalk. Parking always available if you PAY for an assigned spot, free parking is hard to get at the complex aftter 5:30p. Office not open on Sunday, not convenient at times, things happen or you need to explain something and you gotta wait till Monday. Pros: Property relatively quiet at night. Did not have a lot of the power clicking on and off. The complex is well groomed. For the most part I had piece of mind, my unit was never burglarized (though there were some, but that's in any apartment complex ) and my car never was broken into ( and I accidentally left my car unlocked a couple of times and nothing ever happened). Anytime something needed to be fixed it was in a very reasonable time frame, if possible it would be the same day!! Front office staff--love,love,love them!!! Heidi was very concerned about the residents and very helpful. And Diana, for a manager, was very approachable and concerned about the residents and would work with you if you had any problems . I mean they were a big part of the reason we didn't move sooner. Overall, as far as apartments go, this complex will do nicely.

I have been here about a month now. The upgrades are quality, everything is brand new, and the floor plan (760 sq ft - 1 bedroom) is great, for me. ------ is very nice and is super helpful. I usually never stay in an apartment for more than a year, but already I can tell I will be here until I'm ready to purchase a home (We'll see). I have not run into anything bad, no bugs or creatures, besides my upstairs neighbors who like to run track up stairs. That's what you get when you live in apartments, so I really can't complain. It's clean and quite for the most part. The only other downsides I can think of is that parking is horrible, so I made the investment into renting a covered spot. It's worth spending the extra $25. Also, the complex is so small the kids don't really have a set place to play, So when I come around the corner in after work I have to be super careful that they aren't playing kickball in the middle of the driveway. Overall, I think I will be here for a while.

Don't do it! I wish I could post more pictures of how horrible this place is. Roach infestation, mice, staff is incompetent. For the amount being charged anywhere else would be better. Don't be fooled by the aperance really look around. Search in cubbard look at the back wall in there. Around windows be thorough I wouldn't want someone else to go through what we've had to for a year.

I have lived in this Complex for over 6 years now, and cannot say enough good things about the property, staff and community. I live in a three bedroom apartment . I have family of four, so safety is very important to me when choosing where to live. The Main entrance gate is locked at all times on the outside entrance, and it required access to get in - it is surely safe and comfortable. The fixtures, carpeting and kitchen are all top notch, and some of the best I have seen in visiting my other friends' apartments locally. A few things that I really love about the Residence at Westchase is a very small quite complex/community. My neighbors are quiet yet friendly and I hardly ever hear them make noise. I was reading a few of the other reviews and I have never had a problem with the maintenance staff or getting anything fixed in my apartment. They usually have it taken care right away . I have never had any packages stolen. In fact, the management will call me if my package was left there. You are able to pay rent online or by phone which is so much easier than trying to remember to bring down a check. Truly, cannot imagine living anywhere else. The convenience to freeways and downtown is unrivaled. The staff is always accommodating and helpful, and even remembers my name and apartment number without me asking. I recommend living here. It is worth every penny!

These are the worst disgusting apartments I've ever lived in. The apartnents are filled with roaches. The Paint on the tub is spray painted and will eventually pill. There is always a leak either from under kitchen sank &bathroom, or right over your tub & bathroom sank. The management staff is very rude(---------- especially ) she will do whatever to get you in and after that she don't know you. I would not recommend NO ONE to live here. This is no lie, the gog honest truth,coming from experience

I have stayed here for almost 2 years and it has been a pleasant experience. The management is very friendly and does more than asked for, always with a smile. Also, the neighborhood apartments are little old but management has done enough to make these apartments stand out. I would definitely refer apartment. Thumbs Up!

I recently moved from Residence at West-chase apartments. I lived at this apartment complex for approximately twelve years and I have to say, it has always been very pleasant. When I first moved in the apartments, they were under a different management group, but not a lot changed. I never had any problems in my almost 12 years at this residence. Diana and Haydee were always very helpful and polite. I always felt like the apartment managers kept the tenants concerns as priority. There were a few incidents that occurred, but they were quick to keep the tenants informed. I never waited very long to have anything repaired. I am a very satisfied former tenant and I would like to thank Diana and Haydee for making my stay at Residence at West-chase a enjoyable one. Tenant Apartment #811

I have enjoyed it for most of my stay. My A/c has broken down on several occasions. It's very calm and quiet. Besides the green letters informing us of burglaries. It's been a good stay just like other places you will have problems. Overall not a bad place. I just hope my a/c doesn't break anymore, costing me hotel fees again. My biggest issue is that a lot of tenants allow their pets to poop all over the place. A lot of the tenants don't pick up after their pets and the whole back sidewalk by the fence reeks of poop.
