I’ve only been living at Sendera for a short while now but I’ve really loved everything about it! I have an amazing neighbor that’s always kind and helpful and I love the coziness and the location of it. I’m able to take a short bus ride to and from where I need to be!

This place has a lot of charm for an older apartment. The community is clean and quiet. Neighbors overall keep to themselves, yet people are friendly and say hi. Plenty of parking. So far, I am enjoying my experience.

I lived here from July 2023 to 2024 and loved the community and my neighbors. However, I need to strongly warn everyone: **DO NOT LEASE HERE** !!! TLDR: If you don’t want to be a victim of theft, avoid this place. They steal from their tenants and fabricate damages to justify it. This is a common tactic among businesses that prey on low-income communities for tax breaks. Additionally, Building 16 had a severe roach problem they mostly ignored, and the water shuts off at least once a week. After stealing our deposit, they ghosted us when we questioned the charges. Nancy Garcia and Carlie Espinosa—how do you sleep at night? Their greed is deeply humiliating for them. For context, I have a flawless tenant history with on-time payments and no damages across six apartments. I could easily get recommendation letters from most of my previous landlords. Sendera and Greystar are a different story. They stole my security deposit, falsely accusing us of damaging the patio door on move-out day. Despite no evidence—just a missing glass panel they wouldn’t even show us—they blamed us to cover their own costs. We didn’t document the move-out thoroughly, mistakenly believing they wouldn’t make such a baseless claim. In hindsight, we were naive. We thought being good tenants—paying on time, staying out of trouble, being friendly with neighbors and maintenance staff, and treating the leasing staff well—would ensure a smooth move-out. We were wrong. It seems they were determined never to return our deposit from the start. I hope this warning helps others avoid this place entirely. They specifically target low-income tenants, knowing many lack the resources to take legal action. A lawyer I spoke with explained that these businesses often profit from small-scale fraud because their tenants can’t afford to challenge them in court. He also mentioned that such practices can even impact leasing office staff’s bonuses, as it boosts their "revenue." It’s unfortunately easy money when they exploit those who can’t afford to sue. If you’re searching for an apartment, steer clear of Sendera and Greystar! This experience was so demoralizing. I now take a minimum of 500 move-in/move-out photos and keep everything documented in a printed binder. Protect yourself by ensuring you don’t sign away your rights—these companies are fully aware that their tenants have little recourse when they steal. It’s shameful!

The mantainance take a long time since an order is placed and some work is done. For the last repair, they left if half way done for 2 months an counting. The community is good, the neighboors are good people. Nice pools and perfect location.

Overall I have enjoyed living in this community. Everyone is so friendly and the location is perfect. I wish we had a working spa (hot tub), a pool that wasn’t closed down or green most of summer and a better gym.

I have lived at Sendera for 16 yeras so my overall impression is good and I have really enjoyed my time here. I will say that progessively over a number of years things have deteriorated some like the landscaping and the upkeep on some of the buildings. All in all, it's a great location, reasonable rent for this area, quiet for the most part, and a nice place to call home. I will say that some of the problems I mentioned can be atrributed to previous poor management personel who did not focus on keeping the community up to date and in good shape. Hopefully the new current management has a different outlook on these aspects of making a community more inviting and pleasing to come home to.

The complex was a quiet nice environment. However, of late the quality of the residents moving in as declined. It is now noisy on either sides and the smell of weed is over powering. I am seriously thinking of moving out.

This apartment complex is good if you have respectful neighbors, which most of them are. The problem is that if you have a neighbor whose dog barks nonstop the management will not do anything about it.
