I have lived her for 6 years and my family and I LOVE it. The new manager has made some great improvements in the short time she has been here. We love the new flowers around the property, the clear signage throughout , the fresh new mailroom, the coffee is back in rotation so that makes me happy. At Easter time we had a community egg hunt and pictures with real live bunnies so that was really neat! I was a little concerned when the previous manger left, and we miss him dearly but the new team is really doing an amazing job and her staff are always diligent in sending out up to date reminders to the community . We appreciate the information sent out from the management. The only bad thing I can really say is that the trash is always filling up on the weekends because people throw away furniture. This area is really an eyesore and not fair to the maintenance team to clean up others peoples trash they have left behind. I recommend the inverness to anyone who wants to live in a great location with a great office staff and maintenance.

I loved this community when we moved in -- it is quiet, within walking distance to good restaurants and a farmer's market, and the management and maintenance team were great. Most of the tenants are working professionals, so there's a really laidback, respectful atmosphere in the complex. Then, we got a new community manager and front office team and it hasn't been the same since. As others have said, this new manager abuses her communication privileges and is so horribly belittling, rude, and condescending in her messages to the community. We are 13 days into May and she has sent out three messages already about how to act right. It's akin to your least favorite teacher who can't wait to catch you doing something wrong so that she can correct you and then threaten a punishment. It would be considerably more effective if they just communicated with the tenants who were causing the problems instead of sending blanket emails chastising people for "moving around in your apartment, dropping things, slamming cabinets, listening to music, or watching tv." lol. Big brother is watching, y'all! All that said, we will not be renewing and I suspect that management will decide to nickel-and-dime us when we move out. The front office needs to 1) learn how to speak to people respectfully 2) refrain from hitting send on all of those messages 3) give Juan and his team a raise!

The Inverness Apartments have been my happy home for 16 years. Our current manager, office staff and extremely talented maintenance crew all perform excellent and helpful services for the residents. I enjoy my congenial neighbors and highly recommend living at the Inverness.

I recently toured this apartment community. For the location, it appears to be dated with apartment interiors having painted kitchen cabinets and what appears to have been resurfaced instead of stone or corian kitchen and bathroom countertops. Parking appears to be a problem here as the few spots next to the leasing office with reserved signs for potential residents appeared to be occupied by residents and others as there were only employees inside of the leasing office. They do have a package locker system that is outside next to the leasing office; however, it appears that it's not large enough to hold all packages as there were multiple packages on the ground next to the package locker system. Overall, of the apartment communities that I toured in the area, there are better options with more modern touches for similar prices in the area. Plus, there are several brand new apartments within a few miles radius of this community that are currently having great specials.

I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and I’ve loved it. Melissa is our newest manager and I was so happy with everything’s she’s done. I was worried because Morgan was here for so long that things would change when he left for the worst. She’s been an absolute rockstar and has helped everyone so much. I’ve been so happy living I get here and recommend it to all of my friends. Krysten and Luciano have also been incredibly helpful any time I have a question or need some help.

The new manager is extremely rude. The office feels so unwelcome now, before I loved coming in to get coffee and talk to the staff. The new manager seems to go out of her way to belittle the community in front of residents. I once heard her call the property dirty/old and then call her previous community as an upscale living community. I have lived at this community for some years now and was shocked to hear that. The manager does not care about the community and as previous reviews have stated the community is in decline. The previous manager truly cared about the property, we miss him. He went above and beyond for the residents, which is a shame as this truly used to be a hidden gem. I have talked to other residents in passing who feel the same way I do, and have shared their poor communication with the new manager. My lease is coming to an end in August and I will not be renewing. The management company made a mistake with the manager, maybe she needs more training on how to talk to adults. Her tone comes off very off putting and rude. The best thing of this community is the location and Mr. Juan, when he leaves this place will fall apart.

Overall this complex is okay. Entry and exit gates are frequently broken and take a long amount of time to get repaired. Currently, one of the exit gates is broken and is blocked by a dumpster, but people are exiting and entering the entry gate. I am sure that we’ll hear a crash and then get an email about it. During the recent winter storm event, the complex turned off the water, similar to ERCOT turning off the power, for days and made the residents be at their mercy to the hours that were convenient to them to turn it on only to turn it back off in the evenings for multiple days. These apartments are quite old, build in the early 1990s and it shows. There are better options around and next door that are better upkept.

Me and my husband were residents at the Inverness apartments for two years. All though there were some rough patches over all I would say it was a great place to live. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. They maintenance team is super nice and helpful - specially Mr. Juan. Even during hurricanes and snow storms they were always checking on the residents and maintaining the property. Maintenance requests were always taken care within a few days if they were non-emergencies. What I absolutely loved the most was location and the peace of the complex. It is mainly families and older folks which was exactly what I we were looking for. I would suggest this place to anyone who wants a relax and stress free place to live. The only downside is parking. It is very limited and you only get one “reserved” parking spot per apartment. But sometimes guests or other residents park in your spot. Also, sometimes when it rains heavy Buffalo Speedway street gets flooded.

The was a perfect oasis until the new Community Manager arrived. She is not proactive and does not seem to be up to date on the Fair Housing Act. She is going to run a lot more residents away with her tactics. Otherwise, the location can't be beat.

If you don't mind living in a busy dog park you won't mind living here. The barking starts about 6 am and it goes on and on and on... You sometimes get a 2-5 minute breaks but that's about it. This is just another dog park, an active one at that. People here seem to take pride in how loudly and for how long their dogs can bark. Have yet to see any evidence of the management showing any effort at stopping this nonsense.
