The place was fine for a while. It seems like ANYBODY qualifies to move in there. Most of the tenants are loud and dirty. The management does not respect upstanding residents. Unless you are extremely desperate for a place to stay and do not mind an unsecure facility, then do not move to Bayou Landing.

If you can avoid living at this complex, please do. I lived their for 8 months and the only thing good about it was there maintenance man, and my next door neighbor, it's incredibly noise ALL THE TIME and while I was there someone fired a shot gun and the same night there was a gang fight/shooting. On top of the that the management is horrible. The woman there has a very bad attitude and they never keep up with your lease, they told me I needed to move out a month before my lease was up and then tried to charge me for THEIR error. They also do not send you the required 45 day notices when your lease is up, and never keep on top of things. Not to mention that the apartments are dirty and both of my roomates cars were keyed.

Scary. If you can afford a decent APT over 500, look else where. I live at the complex next to this complex. Bayou landing is a very noisy, unsecure, unattractive complex. I hear at LEAST one gun shot a week coming from that place. I know it´s what a lot of people can only afford, but to save a trip, dont go. You wont even stop to look at it. believe me. The roads are horrible to get there. I am so pissed how it bangs my car up passing the place.

I wouldn´t doubt the place floods. It´s right next to the bayou. A big ugly blue dumpster is right smack in the middle of a parking lot. No walls around it so trash can be seen building up. The complex is brown, 2 stories and looks raggy. The complex is in bad shape. It´s just not the place for you if you can afford more.
