MAA is an older building. The property is being renovted. some of the units are old, some look slapped together, and some are renovated. This property has a problem with roaches. Ive paid to switch units to get away from the roaches, and beause I had multiple water leaks due to no fault of my own. The new unit has roaches, a lot of adult roaches indicating theyve been here for a while. The elevator is literally always broken and they never send out communication on it. We only find out that its working when we see someone else is using it or by checking on it. In general the staff are not the type of people to go the extra mile just because. If they were, there wouldnt be so many roaches. Pros: area, distance to hotspots, community board. Not a bad place. Could be a lot better considering the amount of units/tenants/rent prices.

Elevators are always broken. Never can find parking. Floors are damaged in almost every unit. Fixtures are rusted so bad you'd think they pulled them from the ocean. Not worth the money at all. Counting down the days I get to move out.

I love the location of the apartments. I love how many places are within walking distance. I have had fast responses whenever I put in maintenance requests, love that there is a secured package room. Parking is good enough for tenants but there is really no place for visitors to park.

Mostly positive experience living at MAA Midtown. However, the EV chargers have been a constant issue since about October of 2024. I moved here in part because of this amenity to charge my vehicle, and the non-Tesla chargers have not been functioning in the main parking garage for about 10 months with little to no real (apparent) action taken. I have submitted maintenance requests and emailed with management but no significant fixes ever take place. Even more frustrating is the fact that tow trucks roam the garage and have removed vehicles for simply not having the license plate updated online or because the towers/booters misread the paid time remaining YET non-EVs often remain parked in spots for days at a time with no action.

My stay in the community has been mostly pleasant. I have not experienced any bad incidents outside of having a package stolen from my door. The office staff has been responsive to requests that are submitted.
