New management sucks. Camden wasn’t the best, but it was better than Marquis/CWS. This team is a smile to your face and laugh at your back type. There are many issues, including safety issues for your personal property, and unreliable access to the apartment buildings at most. Discussions about concerns usually lead to you getting talked in circles and gaslit. The biggest thing is the price you see on these websites is rent. But you must also pay about $250-$300 extra to actually live here. Between mandatory cable/Wi-Fi packages, amenities that are always dirty, valet trash that sometimes comes on schedule, and whatever other bs they can find a way to charge you for. They recently partnered with a renters insurance company so you can pay $25 a month for renters insurance rather than using a company that would charge you under $20 a month or a annual fee under $300. Just so you get a better understanding, my studio with them is $1,200, but I pay them about $ 1,455-$1,500 to live here… but at least I get car break-ins (even in their garage) and dog poop everywhere for free :)

? I had a fantastic experience working with Jennifer Marin. She was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire leasing process. She promptly answered all my questions and kept me informed every step of the way. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome and comfortable. She went above and beyond to help me find the perfect apartment! Her positive attitude and helpful demeanor also made the leasing process stress-free. Jennifer is highly professional yet very personable. I highly recommend her as your leasing consultant!

This place is all smoke and mirrors, stinks of urine throughout the complex and your packages will get stolen by homeless. FIRE RACHEL SHELTZ, JENNIFER MARIN, JAVIER MEJ, ALINE SERINET, CHARLES RUSHING, MELVIN LARKINS, CARLA GRIMEY.

Always happy to rave about the maintenance team here at Camden City Centre! They work hard to ensure the property is well kept and are so efficient and speedy with their response time! The office staff is also very swift with their responses to my resident requests and needs! Thanks Camden!

I wish I could give Camden zero stars. Everything has gone so down hill. I truly don’t know where to start on my list. I am also counting down the days I can finally get out of this over priced POS! when I first started renting from Camden it was 1300 for a one bedroom and now it’s 1800, for what? maintenance that never does their job? homeless people constantly getting into our garage/hallways, breaking into cars/ and banging on doors/throwing around trash? a dirty complex with disrespectful, loud neighbors? or leasing agents (besides Rachel), that don’t care about their residents at all, but of course they will try to stay on top of bad reviews because they know how bad it’s getting. Like what place won’t give their resident a key??? “download the app”. So when something happens like an emergency and I don’t have my phone, I can’t even access my own home or any entrances in the complex. totally smart, makes sense. let’s just hack the app and invite everybody inside. This place used to be a home. DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP, nothing about this place is nice. I wouldn’t live here even if they paid me. I can’t wait to get out of here.

Where do I begin? That's the real question. The management is lacking, extremely behind with any and everything. They never answer when you call amd if you text them, don't expect the reply for at least a week. The maintenance is lazy and doesn’t do their job correctly. Ken is the only one that works hard. I've had to call them out to do re-do the same job MULTIPLE TIMES. Even for simple things (leaking toilet, replacing a doorknob, fixing a light, etc). This place is filthy. Garbage everywhere as if no one is working. even after power washing, there is grime everywhere. As of lately, there have been roaches. Mailing room? Disastrous. Packages are stolen 80% of the time, and the rest, are randomly placed at different building gates. Don’t get me started on the noise. The amount of people who can get into the buildings without access is insane. Might as well not have gates or keys. oh yeah, they don't let us have an option to have keys. So we have to depend on a faulty app that doesn't load half the time. Homeless people constantly get inside. The chirp app to access entrances is the dumbest thing ever. Don’t let the name fool you. This place is trash and you couldn’t pay me to resign my lease.

Summary of this long post: do not live here, management will go to great lengths to keep your security deposit, management is terrible and does not address customer concerns I originally wrote a pretty nice 4 star review but deleted it to write this 1 star and remove anything positive I had to say about this place. I was already dissatisfied with my move out (leasing consultant told me I couldn’t access my apartment anymore even though I moved out but my lease wasn’t even up yet) hence the 4star review instead of 5. However, things have only gotten worse. Management at this Camden site makes it clear what they think about customers after they leave (they don’t care). The apartment manager (Mary) further reinforces this by not returning phone calls or emails. Camden has gone to great lengths to keep my security deposit. They sent in a carpet cleaning crew and instructed them to do a “pet cleaning” of the carpet [even though I do not have pets and have never had an animal in my apartment] and to clean up “stains.” I asked for justification/evidence. They sent 10 pictures of which only 2 had stains: -One was a poop/mud stain that was clearly drug in by Camden maintenance crews after my departure. I would have never left such a stain on the floor or not noticed it. I have evidence to show I didn’t leave that stain but the apartment manager will not call me back to make my case. Camden charged me for their own mistake -The cleaning crew took the liberty of pulling up pieces of carpet looking for stains to charge me for. One of the stains was not visible on top of the carpet, but there was a stain underneath the carpet. My bed was on top of where this stain was. I’ve never even used that section of carpet because it was covered by a bed. Camden will not supply before/after pictures to prove I left the stain under the carpet. -Other “evidence” was of various stuff on the floor (like feathers from my down comforter) that I did not clean up because the leasing office told me no vacuuming was necessary and it was covered in the clean out fee I agreed to pay in my lease upon move out Other Cons: -Will do everything in their power so that you do not get your security deposit back -Apartment manager (Mary) does not return phone calls. If you have a problem, you can get a leasing consultant on the phone (they will even return calls) but then just say they can’t help you and Mary will have to call you back. She never calls/emails back, even if you follow up. -routine car break ins on the street in the parking garages and on the streets. I was very lucky neither of my vehicles were broken into -during part of my stay here the cameras in the parking garages did not work. Camden knew but never fixed them until it became a problem. People could not supply evidence to police of car break ins -Package theft is very bad and there are no lockers for UPS/FedEX to deliver to. Camden tried to help by putting some USPS lockers in the mail rooms but they aren’t doing the job. Camden has known this is an issue for my entire 2 year stay and it still is not getting better. I stopped shipping boxes to my apartment -High lease cancellation fee

If you care for your personal property then don’t live here. I’ve been here a short time and my vehicle was stolen from inside the gated garage on the 4th floor. Approximately 8 cameras from where my truck was sitting to the exit and none were working at the time (conveniently). I’m sure they will respond to this by saying we are sorry and we are working to fix this but its untrue. This same issue happened a few months ago to another renter and nothing has been done and it continues to happen in a weekly basis. I understand vehicle being broken into if you park on the street but all these incidents are occurring inside the parking garages where they claim to have security and cameras. I don’t need a generic response. Everyone shows frustration on our community page and something needs to get fixed. Think twice before you sign a lease.

This place is AMAZING!! The staff is SO nice and willing to help with any issue you might have. They also continually go above and beyond what is required to make your time at the community a great experience. The security they have in place is really great. Any crime you see posted from other reviews is literally such a tiny percentage of people who live here. The vast majority of people will never, ever have to deal with any crime related issues while you are staying here and what does happen is handled flawlessly by the staff. They just got new package lockers which are great and the security gates keep any unwanted visitors out very well. Any issues related to packages are not a fault of the community, but are usually a fault of the carrier not doing what they are supposed to be doing. The apartments themselves are amazing quality with really high ceilings and doors, and great styles. I was amazed that they have over 50 floorplans, so if you can't find a floorplan you like, you are being too picky lol. They also just finished a newly renovated pool which is SO cool. Not only are the amenities nice, but the location within midtown is so perfect. Super close to all of the restaurants and bars, but far enough away where you won't hear any of the noise or other things. Plenty of parking in their garages, and they even offer several guest parking options. If you get towed, it is your own fault since they have signage posted all throughout the garage. Great place to live and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment. No other community in the area compares to this place. I had to relocate for a new job, but I would have stayed if I could have!

Kirby was an excellent tour guide and showed me and my friend great apartments. Great hospitality. He gave us water and showed us all our amenities. We were very thrilled. Also he was very friendly and knowledgeable.
