It's been a decade since I spent 4 months of hoping for a better life in TX. I'm EXTREAMLY bitter to this day ...Management took my laptop (and tv), I needed for work, for being ONE week late on rent. (which had my 2010 taxes on there to prove I paid them which later caused us issues and thousands) I guess ppl in the Midwest understand better and give you WAY more time before STEALING your property and kicking you out! My husband had a full time job, and we couldn't afford the ------ roach motel. NEVER saw a roach in my life till we moved there. SCARY!!! And the ppl were gross, rude, loud and beat women, no one cared not even the cops. I'm fine now, glad we didn't waste more time there, now we OWN our home right out (all paid off) WITH land and have no neighbors so I can have peace. Our $ sure can go further NOT in Texas. I just do NOT understand the thousands of money on rent to live on top of people, when we paid 500 a month till our house was paid off! (extra $ with tax refund to pay off faster, but only was required 500 a month) And we paid it off fast with OUT me working. AND THANK GOD I did NOT bring roaches back with us! Screw Houston, Screw the Galleria and Screw the big bucks y'all spend to live there! Reading other reviews sure glad we missed the rats. *vomit

Every year this place gets worse. Maintenance is terrible, I’ve had a leak in my apartment for over a year and it still has not been repaired. The dumpsters are always running over with trash. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

This is the worst apartment complex in the neighborhood! Please stay away! Unless you like roaches, rats, trash, drunken people, and water coming out of the toilet along with fecal matter then please stay away! The maintenance is incredibly incompetent! They can't fix anything! We have been without hot water for a week and there is no end in sight!!! The new secretary is only there to make residents more upset not giving any answers to simple problems! I'm honestly really tired of this place and can't wait to get out of this rat hole!!

I live in this apartment for almost 3 years at the beginning it wasn't too bad because the under management transition from one company to another, they were fixing things it was some issues but nothing major, management and maintenance people were good. A year pass I decide to renew my lease, because was convenient for my wife and me because with one car we were close to of almost everything. After 4 or 5 month they change the manager and maintenance people everything beginning to get worse and worse every day the new manager I don't think I have words to describe it was rude unprofessional. I stop going to the office just because of her. The maintenance people are a total mess take a lot time to get thing done sometimes instead of repairing things get worse or do nothing at all. The common grounds are full of dog poop everywhere, in raining days everything flood you need to take off your shoes to be able to get out of your apartment or to be able to get in, trash everywhere cans and empty bottle of beer all over the ground there is some pipeline around the complex that when they overflow you can people poop and pieces of toilet paper all over they don't do anything about it, they don't clean it or fix, they just don't do anything about it you have to walk by and smelled. I'm the kind of person whom like sitting on his porch have a drink and smoke a cigar, I don't it because every time I open my door the only things that I can smell is poop and pee all over the place. Last year my wife persuade me of stay one more year now my lease is almost done, I'm out of this place, because just saying that I live in this place make me feel embarrass.

This is probably the worst apartment complex I have ever been in. I moved in here because my girlfriend lives here until the lease is up in February. The outside looks so trashy. The dumpsters are always full and the grounds are not maintained at all. There are always empty beer cans and bottles all around the complex. There are roaches everywhere! The exterminators came through a couple times and the unit has been bombed at least twice but the placed is honestly infested. There is not enough parking and people who live here are forced to park there cars in the parking lot across the street. On the weekends somebody might even try to charge you for parking outside because Stereo Live is across the street, it really is a pain. Not to mention you can hear all the noise coming from that place till the early morning. The bass will literally shake your walls if you live by the street. Then you wake up to trash all over the place from people drinking in the parking lot before and after they go in. Maintenance is almost non existing and management does nothing to facilitate this either. It took literally 2 months for someone to come fix the water pressure and it still cant stay at a constant temperature. My neighbors apartment got broken into and it took them like 3-4 days to replace the window they broke. Oh and if you park outside, be sure to take anything you don't want stolen out of your car because every 2-3 weeks, there is a car parked outside with there window broken in. I was a victim of this. Old and run down units is how I would describe them. $840 a month for a 1 bedroom here is robbery, trust me. Then they charge you for the washer and dryer. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I lived at Mirabella Galleria for 7 months (end of 2013 through first half of 2014). I had a mixed experience. Pros -affordable, considering how close it is to the Galleria -respectful and pleasant to deal with staff at the leasing office Cons -paper thin insulation. The guy below me sang and played his piano all the time, heard it clearly. Try to avoid building 11 if you don't want to deal with this. -crummy looking complex. Poorly maintained (mud and dirt instead of grass, the cement in the parking lot and walkways is cracked, dumpster is always overflowing) -lacked hot water on a few occasions. Water pressure from the shower head was consistently awful. -no fitness center ------- The interior of the apartment is not bad. Next door neighbor and pretty much everyone I ran into except the singing guy below me was courteous. Towing is not an idle threat, if you don't have a parking pass you will get towed (at least that kept out the non residents). The immediate area surrounding the complex is not great; it's a run down area. I'd say --------- make up 80% of the residents at Mirabella. Large families living in small apartments, so there's plenty of children running around and playing. Overall, considering the price and general proximity to the Galleria, it wasn't too bad. But I had no interest in staying past my short term lease. The place was too small and frankly I was embarrassed to invite anyone over considering the poor condition of the complex and the bad parking situation for guests. On the plus side the leasing office girls are sweet and I didn't have to deal with any vandalism, which I was expecting when I first moved in. My experience wasn't as bad as I expected, so I very cautiously recommend the place...you could do A LOT worse.

To Whom It May Concern: I thought that I would take the time to write a much needed review of the overall living conditions of this property....... Mirabella Galleria Apartments. Starting with the front office.... Angela and Emely. They are both very intelligent as well as professional in how they interact with the residents and visitors to the property. They are kind, energetic, timely, thoughtful, frank, and understanding. And at the same time firm, yet fair. The expression of concern (and importance) of the level of tranquility in which the residents of this property is apparent in all that they say and do. They are genine in all thier actions...... they are sincere in all thir efforts. Don't mistake this praise for being "push-overs". They are not that at all. There are times when it is necessary for them to say "no" to some of the requests/demands that we who live here put upon them. However it often is not what you do, but how you do it that makes a difference. They make a big difference...... in a great way. The maintenance staff: The current crew is just as good as the front office. On top of everything else they are very neat and clean when performing their duties. We as tenants sometimes forget (or choose not) to remember that we don't live in this complex alone...... that there are houndreds, if not over a thousand people here in addition to ourselves. And that this single staff of people has the responsibility to serve us all which they do very well. Thank you for everything..... Worst place I have lived by far,so glad to be moving in two weeks!!!!If i could've left sooner I would've but i could'nt afford to broke my lease. The ladies in the office are nice but very poor at managing this horrible property.. The only thing good about this place is the location, its centrally located and you have easy access to many restarunts, shops and grocery stores, but that were the good end. In all my years of living I have never had a roach problem, two months after moving here my apartment was basically taken over my them. I got a brand new couch when i moved in that I have to throw away now because roaches are living in it. And seem when we use any form of pest control, they just come back bigger and wosre than before. They are in literally every room of my apt, my one year old can't even sleep in her own room because I'm worried roaches might crawl on her in the middle of the night. Its absolutely horrible, the dumpster is constantly overflowing and people leave their roach infested throw away furniture in the parking lot but they charge us $6 a month for trash maitainace. The two pools are completely un-useable because they are filthy and have no form of filtration system. The entrance and exit gates have both been broken since I moved in a year ago. The washer and dryer they provide niether wash or dry your clothes, most residnets go to the spin cycle next door to do their laundry. The "rennovation" they did was very poorly done , you can tell they skipped steps and left things undone. my overall experience in this place has been miserable... Please do not move here, your health and happiness are at stake.
