Generally, I truly enjoy this apartment community. The amenities are great: pool, well-outfitted fitness center with spinning cycles and tv, business center/computer access with printers, conference room, dog park, bbq grills. Both the office staff and support staff are super nice. The office staff is super friendly and easy to speak with. Kudos to Franklin with the support staff! He’s knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous. The drawbacks: tenants do not regularly (or respectfully) pick up after their pets, the office staff is just ok with following up, and some of the amenities don’t seem to be able to be used for what they are for (like using the community center/game area for a small gathering; it has a sink, a fridge, huge counter, and lots of seating). Overall, 8.5/10

I am so happy to live here. I want to thank Jessica y Kamila for their attention. I just moved in and feel so welcome and attended to. They welcomed me and help me with anything that I need. I know I made the right decision living here. Thank you!

Joseph Janice is so professional, warm and very friendly!!!! He’s knowledgeable, great attitude, and always available if you have any concerns. The community property is very beautiful. Great amenities and the pool area is like a resort. But most of all the entire office employees are wonderful. Maintenance is always available also. Joseph Janice you ROCK!!!!!!!!

The property is beautiful but it’s for younger people !! If you have a family don’t do it !! It’s constant noise at the pool … people from other apts come to the pool so there is no parking until they leave !!! The stairs are full of trash and disgusting juice from dragging trash down the stairs .. My neighbor upstairs would beat his girlfriend everyday and it was soo loud I thought they were gonna fall through the floor .. He was literally stomping on her and jumping !! I called the police several times but nothing worked and I report him to the office but he is still there .. He is a African guy in building 7 right by the pool on the 3rd floor and he drives a Mercedes’ black and he doesn’t work and neither does the girl .. There always home and he is always beating her and screaming .. Also Jessica the manager is a rude B**** .. She talks down on you like she is better then you if your blk .. She moved in soo many --------- I think it’s her family .!!! Daisy is another rude one .. She wants to be just like Jessica !! They don’t do nothing they just have attitudes and do they makeup with they bad built asses !!! Don’t get me wrong the apts are nice inside but I just feel it’s for young adults and not families !! The police always there .. A few months ago it was the task force I guess the neighbor behind me sold drugs !! I woke up to them eunnjng up the stairs and trying to kick the door In.. If they would rent to more of a family dynamic and get rid of Jessica and Daisy kick that African dudes --- it would be a better place !! Oh the gym is everything and 24 hrs ..

I visited Opal Apartments on Barker Cypress and was pleased with the the beautiful apartments and the surrounding environment. My visit was a smooth sailing experience with such great customer service/care. Miss Daisy has helped me in all aspects that she could, very nice sweet girl. if in the area and looking for apartment complexes go take a look and ask for Daisy I recommend her help 100%.
