MY ADVICE TO ALL OF YOU, STAY OUT!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY ON THE LOOKOUT TO RIP YOU OFF. THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU ARE A VALUABLE RESIDENT THEY JUST WANT TO GET EVERY SINGLE PENNEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET!!! ONCE YOU LEAVE THE APARTMENT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 100S OF DOLLARS FOR CLEANING AND OTHER MAINTAINANCE WHICH IS COMPLETELY BS! THE MANAGER IS STALKISH AND TRIES TO BE EXTRA FRIENDLY WITH GIRLS. ONLY 1-2 GOOD PEOPLE OUT OF THE WHOLE STAFF. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

I am an international student in University of Houston-clear lake. I have lived in UFA for a year and I really enjoy my staying here! 1. The environment is friendly, quiet and safe. The gate is always well-locked and you can see the police car frequently patrolling here. The manager and staffs are very friendly and always try to help. As a new comer, whenever I have some questions, I can turn to them and ask for advice. They always try their very best to help you. 2. It is very close to the university. As an international student, I did not have a car when I arrived here. It takes about only 10 minutes to walk to the university, also, I can take the university van from the apartment, which is really convenient. 3. Good facilities. For example, a quiet study room is available at the Laundromat. There is a swimming pool and a sand volleyball court. For those who love music, there is also a piano for you to play in the housing center! 4. Interesting activities make the atmosphere here cozy and warm. There are various types of activities organized by the housing center. For instance, we had so much fun at the Halloween party! During potluck, we tasted different food from various countries. We learned a lot about different cultures and had a great time in meeting new friends! Also, the sessions that offer practical information such as interview skills and safety tips are available. All the information is so helpful! @

Hello there! I moved in University Forest Apartments (U.F.A.) at the beginning of the Spring Semester. I wasn t sure how it would be here! But within a few weeks, I liked the place so much that I extended the lease for my entire school term. The factors that influenced me to take this decision were safety, cleanliness and the peaceful atmosphere at U.F.A. No one can enter the premises without the gate card. After office hours, the R.A on call can be contacted in case of emergency. The staff is very friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile. The R.A.s frequently conduct interactive discussions for the residents on topics like how to deal with stress, positive thinking skills, first-aid tips, etc. They also organize movie-nights at the Club House. Yes, the Club House is a place where residents can watch television, movies, read for their test, chat with their friends. The premise is kept clean 24/7. I haven t seen any dirt or empty cans or any trash anywhere on the premises. Whenever I have had any issues regarding maintenance, it has been taken care of within a day! The apartments are clean, well-maintained with safety appliances such as the smoke alarm. In fact, the new furniture placed in the apartment gives it a homely effect rather than just a student s apartment. The pool attracts people of all ages to enjoy themselves all year around. The quiet atmosphere keeps your mind at peace and allows studying and doing your assignments at a time convenient to you. Thus, in all, I would highly recommend new students to stay at U.F.A.!!! You need to try it out for yourself and know the difference!

The place close to school is the only advantage to live here. They keep raising the price, now the efficency is 725, you can rent almost 2 bedroom outside! I think now you should make at least one year contract with them. The staff over there did nothing, the only thing they did for you is taking advantage from you! The manager is -----------, he is mean, a bad person. He takes control everything! Do not live there! Most important, when you move out, do not clean the apartment, whatever you have done, they still change you more than 80 dollars.

I lived there little over a year, I did not like anything about that apartment. I was obligated to live there because I had to go to UHCl as full time student. Following are the points which make this apartment worst place to live. 1. Very expensive for those small rooms where you can barely fit a bed. 2. They enter in your apartment any time they like. 3. They never show you the real electric bill and send apartment prepared fake bill for various amount. 4. Very unfriendly management. Every time they will try to rip you. 5. When I moved in the room was not even clean and when I moved out they charge good sum of money as cleaning charge. So I strongly recommend get other apartment like cove, university green or newport if you have to move in that area to get closer to school. Don't ever choose this place, you will regret big time, trust me.
