I think nobody ever truly writes a good review on this complex. Only when your mad do you people decide to come bad mouth. If its so horrible than move! I personally have been here 12 years and many of my neighbors have been here longer than that the complex was built in the 60s for crying out loud. I lived in a newer complex before this and I had more leaks and break ins there than I ever had here and if you go to a newer complex I can bet your --- they won't have as many maintenance as we do. Yes it's old but they fix things and try to get the job done. I personally have nothing bad to say about the staff because the few times I had issues they had someone here right away. I like how as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago they gave some of us 100 gift certificate off our rent. And CRIME happens everywhere!!!! This is Houston we Are speaking of. And from what my friends say it hasn't just happened here it even happened at la tour which is the beautiful high rise next to us! Nobody and no where in Houston is safe we should all have alarms on our cars and if you live in an APARTMENT where your car is never going to be parked where you can see it take the damn rims off your car fool! Just saying :)

I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. They are "the best" until you sign your lease and get locked in for a year. Then it takes an act of congress to get management to do anything. The crime has steadily increased to the point that I don't like to go to the parking lot after dark. I stopped counting how many times I've seen cars on blocks because their wheels were stolen or cars with broken windows. Even heard of somebody's apartment being broken into while he was home in broad daylight. The lights in the parking lot are always going out so it will be light one minute and dark the next. It's safer to walk down the street at night than it is to walk though the apartment complex parking lot. As far as this being a "gated community", the gates are broken alot so they are either stuck open or stuck closed.

I've lived here for about a year and a half and I have to say that it's not bad. Granted they are older than some apartments and the exterior shows its age, but overall I'd say that I enjoy living here. The landscaping is very nice and taken care of once a week. They have several pools and they are usually clean. Last summer they resurfaced one of them and the pools looks great. A lot of the people who live here have plants and stuff outside, which looks great, except they have a bunch of bbq grills all over the place and they are all dirty and the make the place look tacky. The exterior needs to be painted badly and the gutters leak everywhere. Inside the apartments are pretty nice. Before I moved in Amanda, the leasing agent, showed me several apartments which looked really nice. I really liked how each one is different than any others. The covered parking is really cool because it is assigned by your apartment number. Sometimes someone will take your spot and you have the park in the back. The officers they have on call are hit and miss on responding to things. I called once and they said that there was a new policy that they don't tag cars after hours and when I asked the leasing office about it they said that as long as it was before 11PM their job was to go. Overall I'd say that I enjoy living here for the simplicity. All utilities are paid, I have covered parking, garbage pick up once a week and a friendly office staff.

not a bad place to live,but very old & almost falling apart right b4 ur eyes. roof is under repair constantly,seems like the same place every time. I think there is security, even though have never seen any one. 4-5 cars have been stolen,couple people have been robbed, 2-3 cars have been de-wheeled (not funny to the owners. i'm sure ), even though we have 4-5 of HOUSTON'S FINEST living here. IMAGINE if we had no protection. Other than all that not a bad place to live. The maintenance staff half antiquated & slow, very courteous an very capable. Office staff on the other hand, where do I start???? Just kidding, some times may have to light a fire under them, but for the most part they are capable. Our apartment has had more problems, than any other apt. we have lived at but it is old (repeating myself).

Vandalism, stealing tires. Roaches. Plus they increased their rent. Do not move. everyday we have a story of stealing or breaking.
