My wife and I absolutely loved living here. Staff, owners and the residents were all good people. The town homes are great and the courtyards are impeccable. It's like a cloister in the middle of the big city. Would definitely recommend, never had any issues with anything. Very accommodating staff altogether.

We found this beautiful complex while driving around the Galleria near our work places, and stayed for 2+ years. We liked the non-corporate feel of the owners and staff. They take great pride in the both the interior and exterior of the units. The salt water pool is a nice touch (they have a chlorine pool too), and the outdoor seating and courtyards are very nice.

I have lived at Marqee Uptown for about 2 1/2 years and love this place! The grounds are absolutely beautiful. I love spending my weekends by the salt water pool and catching great sun. The location is amazing! EVERYTHING is just minutes walking. My days would consist of going to the gym across the street then taking a nice walk to Whole Foods and enjoying a bite to eat outside. The apartment itself was outstanding. Up to date interior with beautiful granite counters, nice wood flooring with upgraded carpet and new appliances. There isn't a washer and dryer inside but the free washroom was actually nice. Never an issue with being too busy, and it's nice to be able to knock out 3 loads at once. It's a pretty quiet and cozy complex. You may here a little noise from the street but my apartment also faces it so if noise is a problem the other units in the back would be good. My neighbors over the time were very friendly. It is an older building but anytime things needed fixing, Eduardo from maintenance handled it promptly. The owners are very sweet people. I believe they stay on the property and are a joy. Once in awhile they throw nice little get togethers at the pool for residence. Very very thoughtful owners. Rachael in the office is truly one of the most kindest people I've met as apartment staff. She's been here the whole time which in my experience these positions tend to be a revolving door. Always so friendly and willing to help! I recently had a baby and was constantly having deliveries I couldn't pick up and she was the kindest to make sure I got all my things. I was very sad to have to make the decision to leave here. Coming from a different state I really lucked out finding this place. It was easy to call home and feel safe. Living alone, security was HUGE and I felt very safe here. A lot of my family would visit from out of state and they were equally impressed with Marque Uptown and the location. Marquee is truly the best apartment for this location. Yes there are plenty of fancy high rise condos around but they cost a LOT more. I feel like for the amount, you definitely get more for your money staying here. It's a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Marquee Uptown is a hidden gem in Houston! I found Marquee driving through the Galleria and as soon as I toured the property, I was in love with it! The atmosphere is so serene and relaxing. I wake up every day to a tropical paradise out my front door! The management on site is just as incredible. The owners live on site and are super friendly to everyone! They truly have pride in how wonderful of a community they have and will make you feel at home right away. Rachel in the front office is extremely helpful and truly cares about her residents well being and happiness. She has been personally a very sweet person and I feel lucky to have a property manager as considerate as she is. As far as maintenance, I have never had an issue with putting in a work request, the crew is always timely and do a great job. My unit was fully renovated when I moved in and it is beautiful! The owners have done a fantastic job with maintaining the original unique character of the building, while updating with a modern touch. I love having a brick wall accent in the bedroom! 100% recommend!!
